harper smiled. they arrived back at his apartment, and he hopped out. it was quite chilly outside, and he wanted to get inside a soon as possible. he turned to hear a faint meow coming from the cat, and grinned as it opened its eyes. she extended her claws, and looked up at brook.

brook slowly got out of the warm car, making sure that the cat was comfortable. as brook and harper walked towards the entrance, she noticed that her eyes had just opened, and that she was letting out high pitched mewls. "harper, harper! look! she's opened her eyes!" she explained excitedly, her eyes wide with happiness.

harper grinned, hurrying over to the cat. he pet it behind the ear, as you would a dog. he hoped he was doing it right. "let's take it upstairs. it must be cold." he suggested, turning to brook.

brook nodded, and rushed inside the apartment. she went straight to harpers bedroom, opening the door and placing the kitten carefully on his bed. she sat next to the kitten. rubbing the fur just above her stomach. "i'm so glad we get to keep her."

harper followed her, sitting next to her on his bed. he was relieved that it was so clean, and rested his head on brooks shoulder. "yeah, she's a good kitten." he agreed, petting it.

brook moved her head to the side, so it was resting ontop of harpers. she admired the kitten,and began to play with the chocolate calico. "what should we call her?

harped opened his phone, and looked up some names. "teagan?" he suggested, watching as the cat explored his pillows. she was so adorable, and he wasnt just talking about the cat.

brook nodded enthusiastically. "that sounds like a perfect name." she looked at teagan, and smiled widely. she picked her up gently, resting the kitten comfortable on her lap. she stroked its pelt with one hand, and scratched behind her ears with the other.i

harper agreed. "teagan. our little teagan." he ran his paw over her, listening to the constant purring. "should we start setting everything up?"

brook nodded. "i'll go and feed her if you like." brook suggested, lookong at teagan and then back to harper. she was so lucky to have served harper that day. if she hadn't, she'd still be the insecure, shy girl she was before. harper bought out a whole new side to her, a confident, energetic and slightly sassy side.
