Ferondir ate slowly. He usually didn't function very well until three hours after sunrise.
The breakfast was a simple one, in contrast to the extravagant meal Jakub had treated them to two days ago. Had it only been two days? It seemed like a week to Ferondir. He'd been through a lot. They all had. Though Guzore seemed like he'd never be phased by anything. Ferondir grinned and looked over at his large yellow friend. "Good eats?"

Della was digging in with great enthusiasm. She loved food, so long as it was good of course. She finished her meal pretty fast and leaned back in her chair, waiting for the others to finish. She was rather bored, but she didn't know what to talk about. Her mother had taught her though that it was polite to stay at the table while the others were still eating.

Zeph trudged the dining the dining room just as everyone was finishing.
He had obviously only slept at most three hours that night.
He hair was messy and slightly matted, his eyes were baggy and red from the night before
He had a cloth wrapped around his wrist, with small dried blood stains.
He wasn't wearing his cloak or his bag, so he was only in his red pants and his longsleeve blue shirt, which was rolled up.
He stumbled in, careful not to make eye contact with anyone.
He lazily pulled out a chair, at the farthest end away from everybody.
Zeph didnt bother eating any of the food in front if him, infact he sat in silence the whole time.

Della leaned forward in her chair, looking over at Zeph. "Hey wizard boy! What's up? You slept in." she chuckled, grinning. "You should really set some sort of alarm. You've got all sorts of magic, can't you do something with that magic of yours?" she asked, resting her chin in her hands while propping her elbows on the table.

Ferondir was shocked by her ignoring the obvious. He gave her a look. Zeph had a tough night.
"You okay, man?" He clearly wasn't.
Feronider got up, and sat in a chair next to his friend. "I don't know what it is. But I have already forgiven you for it."
He was about to hug Zeph, but thought better of it. Zeph may have been injured elsewhere as well. "Eat something, you'll feel better, I promise."
"Don't give me that look, Eat."

Zeph wasn't in the mood for talking... or eating.
He made that clear by giving Ferondir a sideways look.
He did feel slightly better knowing that he forgave Zep-
wait.
WHAT?
He knew at this point he had a shocked look on his face, he looked directly at Ferondir, to surprised to still be in a fueled heat at everybody.
Y-Yo-you were... awake?! He exclaimed
Don't give me that look, Eat.
Ferondir said.
Zeph could feel his cheeks turn red with embarrassment. How could he have been so stupid? Of course Ferondir wasn't asleep, he wasn't snoring!
Now knowing that Ferondir wouldnt acknowledge it any further, He gave him a tired-but-still-displeased look, and turned towards the food infront of him- He grunted because of the pain in his side when he turned- and began to eat.

Ferondir was right, he was starting to feel better.
Maybe he should share what he learned from his research that he did while they thought he was sleeping?

The breakfast went well until Zephyrus arrived.
Jakub saw tension rise. Clearly something was going on. The door behind him burst open.
"Captain, you're needed on the top deck!" A soaked sailor, his first mate, said.
Jakub jumped from his seat and followed.
The deck was drenched in seawater.
"There, sir!" said another sailor, pointing toward the front of the ship.
The sea infront of them was shallow, almost too shallow for the ship. Rocks jutted up from the waves as far as he could see.
"Parella Reef," said Jakub. He turned to the First Mate. "I told you too swing around south before changing course!"
"You did sir, but the crew were eager to reach the treasure."
Of course they heard about it. But there was a larger risk that had to dealt with first. Fate wasn't on their side today.
"Enough excuses. Just go down and tell the others to hold onto something!" He took the wheel. It looked like he would need to steer her through the reef.
"Divines save us." he whispered.

The lower deck began rocking back and forth viciously as the ship navigated around the reef. Breakfast plates slid across the table as everyone tried to grab them.
What's going on up there?? asked Guzore.
The ship continued to rock back and forth as Jakub's first mate dashed downstairs soaking wet.
Hold onto something! he said.
A large thump threw everyone in the ship into the air momentarily. It leaned to the side and caused Della's chair at the end of the table to begin sliding down the room. Guzore grabbed her hand to stop her from hitting the wall in her chair. The ship went back to normal and began leaning to the other side, causing Zephyrus' end-table chair to tip over completely and knock him out of it. As soon as it had started though, it was over. They had passed the reef and were now at Gregal Lake. Guzore turned to Jack, seemingly unphased by the entire thing.
You don't talk much, do you? Guzore said.
Jack just looked at Guzore with an expression hard to identify behind a bandana.
This is new for me. He said.
(Now they're at the lake where the mansion is at, so one of you guys can go to the top deck and describe what you think it looks like or whatever and then we'll have the others come in.)

Zeph, now in a frantic panicked mood, full of energy leaped over to the door, with the help of a wind spell.
He got the deck, and looked out.
He saw it.
The mansion from all his late night studying.
As everyone else began to emerge, he looked back.
We're here. He said, holding out both his arms, immediately his bag and cloak flew from inside the boat and wrapped around him, fitting just how they should.
He adjusted them slightly, and leaped over the side of the boat, using magic to make a wind bubble below him, so that the fall didnt hurt.
Come on down! It looks just like it did in the books... but bigger!
He pulled out one of the books for reference, the one that seemed to have the most info on the mansion, even a partial drawing of the interior.
