As it was her first Gathering, Emberstar felt rather awkward and uneasy with all the other strange cats around. She tried to make herself look somewhat presentable, but most cats could probably notice her eyes glancing nervously around the clearing. She cautiously made her way toward where the other leaders were gathered and stood a bit away from them, unable to muster a hello.

Ashenclaw--- tagged: addertail
Finally deciding to go find someone to talk to, the deputy made his way through the crowd, spotting a brown tabby also alone. He paused, and then walked up to the cat. "Erm, hello," he greeted with a nervous grin. "I'm Ashenclaw -- deputy of LeafClan. Who might you be?"

Willowcloud--- tagged: medicine cats
"Well..." the young medicine cat mewed, "I guess I'll head over there." She gave Ashenclaw a small smile. "Wish me luck," she said with a slight chuckle before nervously stepping through the crowd toward the medicine cats. Some were speaking to each other, some weren't. Suddenly she was frightened, not one to initiate a conversation, so she mumbled a quiet "Hello..." while looking down awkwardly at her paws.

Patchthorn--- tagged: sleetfoot
Patchthorn turned abruptly at the sound of a cat speaking close by. The cat wore a wide grin, immediately making the LeafClan warrior's whiskers twitch in slight amusement. I bet he's going to scare everybody away with that smile. Wait, he's not talking to me, is he?.. Mouse-dung.... "Uh, hello..." he grunted. "Patchthorn, LeafClan."

Getting bored, the pretty female hauled herself to her paws to approach the first cat to pass by her. "Hello!" She greeted him with a warm smile, "I'm Oatstar, Leader of Asterclan. Who might you be?"

The deputy found herself approaching a nearby cat who didn't seem to be currently talking to anyone else. "Hello!" She smiled as she introduced herself, "I'm Sheepclaw, Deputy of Asterclan. Who might you be?"

"Well..." The medicine cat hesitated, thinking back to his herb store at home. "We have oak leaves, rush, wild garlic, dock, goldenrod, chamomile, and some other things."

"Yes, I am, sorry I did not say that earlier. How has your clan been faring? You are still a reletively knew clan, aren't you?" Jinxstar said, keeping a relaxed calm as he watched the proud leader.

It would be interesting to watch how he fared in the forest. His clan still seemed small, but Jinxstar himself knew how fast a clan can grow.

Brindlethorn did not know what he was doing, since he was only appointed acting deputy today, so he just sat on the fringe of the group and tried to look friendly instead of scared out of his mind.

Velvetrabbit searched for Rowanpelt, but also tried not to make it too obvious. She greated each cat she came across with a respectful nod, but made no move to socialize with any of them.

"Hello, my name is Flintshade of Jinxclan." he said, hoping his discomfort with the large number of cats around did not show.

"That is good. Sorry, I get excited sometimes." Tanagerpelt gave a sheepish grin as she looked at her paws in embarrassment.

Barkclaw put a comforting tail around the shoulders of his best friend and mate.

"How is your clan faring?" Barkclaw asked, trying to change the subject to make Tanagerpelt a little more comfortable.

Maplestar sat uncomfortably, until she couldn't really stand the discomfort anymore. She stole a quick glance back at the tom. She turned back before any of the leaders could catch her. If she was caught not paying attention, she could be marked as the weak link in the chain, and it was the least she needed. She flicked her tail in thought.

"Hello." she stared ahead at the leader of another clan that had just come. She wasn't great at introductions.

"Wow, a medicine cat!" Tigerstep smiled. "A big honor." he mumbled softly. His ear twitched, and he flicked his tail. "Your third year?" his eyes widened, but a grin stayed on his face. "You must be very honoured!" he exclaimed happily.

Echosong flicked her tail, before walking off silently near the trees. She had seen Maplestar, but she was with the leaders of the other clans, and it would simply be so rude to interrupt. She sat near the trees, in a small hole in the ground. She lay down and gazed up at the stars.

SilverStar glanced over at the other cat, presumably another new leader given her actions. "First time too hu?" she asked, smiling gently.

ShadowFlight wove through the huge group of cats, his ears pricked for information that might help his clan. He paused suddenly, glancing back at SweetPaw, who had been following him dutifully. "SweetPaw, this is your first gathering, I'm sure that you are eager to explore. Go enjoy yourself." SweetPaw beamed, then disappeared into the crowd.

Fogstar turned to Sorrelstar "Hello, Sorrelstar, it's great to meet you. Smokeclan has had quite a few cats join recently, and we'll be having a couple of kits soon!" Fogstar mewed proudly "But anyways, how's Beechclan doing?"

Sandpaw glanced at Oakpaw "Oakpaw! Wait!" Sandpaw's call made Oakpaw stop. The tom looked back at his denmate "What is it, Sandpaw?". Sandpaw walked closer torwards him "Could we stay together? This place is pretty big and I'd be much more comfortable to go with a cat that I knew." "Oh, sure!" Oakpaw mewed happily "Great! Where are we going?" Sandpaw asked. "Well... err... I don't really know..." Oakpaw stutered "Hopefully we can find like... a group of apprentices or something?" the tom mewed shortly after "Oh, yeah! That'd be nice!" Sandpaw agreed as the two cats began to wander around in hopes to find some other apprentices.

For a moment, Addertail wasn't sure what to say "Er, hey!" he finally mewed. "I'm Addertail a warrior from Smokeclan. It's nice to meet you..!"

Enough sitting around Rainheart looked around at the cats whom were in the gathering, after eyeing the cats nearby her, she walked torwards Brindlethorn, "Hello there," Rainheart greeted the tom "I'm Rainheart, deputy of Smokeclan. Who're you?"

Ripplestar led his cats out of their little hollow where their camp lay and continued to their Northwestern border. This was where the Clans joined for a night of peace. He clambered up the great rock and watched his Clanmates scatter like leaves on a leaffall morning. He sighed and turned to a leader next to him. "Hi, I'm Ripplestar. Have we met?"

Splashfur followed her leader and led Gingerflash to the shade where there were more cats. "Hi," she meowed, hoping to find a mate. Tigerwing was so... eeh...

Flintberry and Mallowsplash hung out together.

Minnowleap, Cloverstep and Featherstorm enjoyed their first gathering.

Flashtail recognised Rosie, an elder of EchoClan. He snarled at the much older enemy.

Brindlethorn jumpe when the cat approached him and started talking.

"Oh, um, hi. my name is Brindlethorn, I am a warrior for Jinxclan. oh, wait, I mean, I am deputy of Jinxclan. Well, temporary deputy, I mean. Our real deputy is currently carrying kit, so i am filling in for her." He hoped that his stammering was not too much for Rainheart.

He looked at his paws for a moment, his pelt burning with embarrassment, before lifting his head to make eye contact with Rainheart, trying to look as dignified as possible.

chestnutstar perked up slightly when another leader addressed her. she turned her gaze to peer over at stonestar, leader of brookclan. "obsidianclan is doing very well. we are still a new clan, but we are a strong bunch. how is brookclan?" she inquired, deciding it would be the appropriate thing to ask the tom about his clan since he had asked her about obsidianclan. briefly, her gaze turned to squirrelstar when the she-cat inquired if her clan had moved in to the south of her clan. "yes, obsidianclan shares a border with you." she responded, giving a small nod of her head. since their borders were connected, she decided it would be best to ally with echoclan. she definitely did not want them to be enemies. she only hoped that the other clan would accept her offer.

bristleclaw sat at a distance, his eyes glued to his leader and mate, chestnutstar. he tried to read her lips as she spoke to the other leaders, but he could not make out the words. he did not have much of a motive to talk to others.

palenose gave a small hum to himself when the she-cat gave him yet another glance. did she want to speak to him? maybe after the announcements he would be able to meet her. for now, she had her duty as a leader to speak to the other clans. however, he could not help but watch her. perhaps he should be focusing on his leader, but this she-cat from petalclan interested him.

blossompaw was soon growing bored of sitting around and waiting for something to happen. rising to her paws, she found another apprentice who caught her attention. she bounced over to him, her tail swaying in the air. "hello! i'm blossompaw of obsidianclan. who might you be?" she inquired, a kind smile playing on her maw. the young apprentice sat across from him, a curious look in her eyes.

frecklepaw released a sigh when he noticed blossompaw bound off. glancing back toward their mentors, he rose to his paws and decided to find someone to talk to and sit with. spotting two other apprentices, he approached them in a shy manner. "hello.. i'm frecklepaw from obsidianclan." he greeted, his tail swaying in a slow and hesitant manner as he gazed at the other apprentices.

crowfall and hawkeye sat together and spoke of the gathering. "there are so many clans here.. it's amazing." she murmured, her gaze sweeping the forest as she took in all the other clans. "we have a lot of competition, hmm?" he mused, a chuckle escaping him.

Caveclan

Cats attending: Morningstar, Woolyfur, Cloudpool
Cats Attending: Sedgetail, Juniperfoot, Harespring, Ferretclaw. All apprentices

The Caveclan cats arrived a bit late, streaming into the clearing and the various cats seperating.

Morningstar headed immediately for the other leaders, greeting them with a nod and a calm "hello," (With the leaders)

Cloudpool hesitated as the rest of his clan separated, each heading their various ways. He took a deep, nervous breath and headed towards the medicine cats. I wish Dappleleaf was here. He thought miserably. Or Shadedleaf was there. He wasn't as good at chatter as they were. (Open)

"Theres so many cats here!" Gingerpaw breathed, awed. Thymepaw's eyes were wide with excitement. "I know!" She grinned. "Remember, don't give away anything about Caveclan." Ferretclaw and Juniperfoot gave them warning looks. (Open)

Sedgetail stood with Harespring, looking around. She didn't say anything but Sedgetail was hoping Burrwhisker was there. Her eyes brightened when she saw him, sitting with a pretty she-cat. Sedgetail frowned when she saw her but beckoned with her tail for Harespring to follow her. She headed towards the pair, her gaze fixed on Burrwhisker. "Hello," She greeted them.
