(I apologize for my very long post, but I do have a lot of characters… Of course, your posts don’t have to be like this at all XD. Also, have fun finding out about the other’s secrets…)

Conditions:
6 A.M. in the morning, January 28.
Heavy fog, little snow.

Tetsu
It was a cold day like always in January, but that didn’t bother Tetsu. It had never bothered him. Like every morning, Tetsu was sitting outside in a simple chair enjoying the quietness of the young day while reading the Bible. He often read the Bible, he liked reading it, not because he believed in God, on the contrary, he was a true man of science. He always said ‘The Bible makes a fairy good fairytale, with a good moral lesson you can learn.’ and Tetsu knows all the stories. He sometimes told them to his sons or his granddaughter. He wasn’t aware of the snow that was quietly falling down, on his head and on the book. If he would be, he wouldn’t mind it. Soon, the busy day would begin and people would be surrounding him again, as he was a clan head and a man with a lot of influence in all the five clans. The thoughts of that made him feel like he had a headache already so he shook the thoughts away and concentrated on reading again.

Masashi
It was actually too early for Masashi to awake, but he couldn’t sleep last night. Dreams had been haunting him and he thought he heard voices. He woke up with a scream and sat up straight. He didn’t need to put the lights on as he could see pretty well in darkness. He sighed deeply and wiped the sweat of his forehead, then looked at his clock, saying that it was a little past six and sighed again. He decided that he’d better just get dressed and did so, pretty quickly. After that, he opened the curtains and then the window of his room. He climbed out of it and sat down somewhere on the roof. He watched ravens attack smaller birds and somehow a smile crept on his face.

Kamijo
The young man was already awake as he liked getting up early to ‘carpe dium,’ as he himself liked to say. He was fully dressed and presentable as the clock hit six o’clock. He grabbed his sword and walked downstairs, then to the garden, past Tetsu and ran a few meters onto the field before slicing into a tree with his metal blade. He looked back at Tetsu. It seemed that the old man had not noticed him. He looked at the tree. A lot of deep cuts were in it, made by himself, Yu~Ki, Daisuke and lots of others who liked to practice sword fighting on this particular strong-looking tree. He took a few steps back and started using some techniques in mid-air as if he was fighting invisible enemies. For Kamijo, it was important to keep practicing sword fighting, not only because he liked it, also because he wanted to be able to protect Hizaki, his ‘princess’.

Yu~Ki
The man who was respected as a wonderful doctor and feared as someone who could poison you with water, was already awake and in the library taking preparations for a lesson that he was going to give today. It would be his first time giving lessons so he was very nervous. Daisuke asked him yesterday if Yu~Ki would be able to teach the youngsters some medic skills, as Daisuke taught them how to injure each other. It seemed a nice variation to Yu~Ki but he was actually afraid of being the center of attention. ‘Stage fright,’ Tetsu often calls it and Yu~Ki tried not to let it bother him. He was talking out loud in the quietness of the library, which was empty, but Yu~Ki was still scared to make a mistake in what he said. He had everything written down perfectly with his fancy handwriting. He often looked at the paper to see if he was saying exactly what was written. He was a man that preferred a script for his life instead of the constant improvising that he had to do as diplomat.

Kyo
As a clan head, he was already awake and he was sitting in the main living room. He had the newspaper lying next to him and was drinking some coffee while reading the front page. A married couple was murdered last night… He sighed as he always somehow took every bad news in the world personal. He was a pretty depressed man and it showed on his skin. He had scars everywhere and usually had one or two knife in random pockets. He occasionally had to visit Yu~Ki because of everything he had done to himself and the pills Yu~Ki gave him didn’t work. Kyo sighed and he flipped the page of the newspaper. A protest against the clans… This time he laughed. ‘Silly, silly mortals.’ He said to himself. It was a phrase he used for the ‘normal’ people: ‘mortals.’

Daisuke
Daisuke was in his classroom on the main floor, preparing lessons and making the practicing swords shine. Weapons were his passion, always had been. He placed all the swords in the rackets and walked over to the guns. There were a lot of ‘weak’ shotguns in the classroom, all owned by Daisuke, all unloaded. There were also some more powerful guns and one mini-gun, unloaded except for one, Daisuke’s hand gun. He had black powder on his desk in a bottle and his gun was lying next to it. On the wall were maps of the world and important countries, but also a map of Soviet Union and the world as it used to be around the time of Napoleon and others. Daisuke looked at the swords again: katanas, shinais, claymores, broadswords, rapiers and a lot more. He nodded satisfied and sat down behind his desk. Today, they would go practice fighting outside as well, that’s why he was wearing something he usually wouldn’t: Something that looked like it could’ve been an army uniform.

Kouji
Red lights were burning in the lab, in the basement, and machines were making awful noises but Kouji didn’t mind it. He wore a lab coat over his black, leather outfit and didn’t mind the safety glasses. While he was taking notes about two strange colored fluids that he was mixing, he was boiling a purple powder and running tests for yet another project on the super-fast computer next to him. He liked working alone and multi-tasking more than working together as a team. He had never been much of a team player as he was pretty stubborn and liked to do things his own way. Something behind him made a sound and he turned around to see that a liquid had exploded. He stopped his stopwatch and noted the time, then put the same liquid into another bottle, this time, as a mix with another liquid than the mix that had just exploded. Then he looked at the purple boiling liquid again and sighed. Everything always took so long. He wanted action…

(There we go, the epic adventure has started XD)

Yuki

Yuki was sitting on a chair, reading a book in the main room to be exact. It has been a tough week for him, with all the meetings he had to attend. Writing until midnight and past. But that’s the work of a clan head after all. “Phew…” He sighed as he closed his third book. He once again stayed up all night to do his paperwork and then read some books. He looked at the clock, it was still too early to be nice for once and make the clan some breakfast. As he looked outside the window, he saw a thick pack of clouds covering the sun. This made him smile as he remembered he always told Hizaki “bad weather is what makes you tough. We don’t always need sun.” Then once again he grabbed a new book and started reading.

Klaha

Klaha just woke up noticing he was sleeping on his working desk. He read some of the papers that where lying in front of him. “Oh… so that’s what I was doing all night.” He whispered to himself as he was tidying his pile of papers. He put on a shirt, jacket and some expensive looking pants. He always looked very neat as he could'nt bare to look 'dirty'. He decided to go to the main room to see if anyone was already there. He walked outside of his room, locking the door. He continued walking downstairs while fixing his jacket.

Hizaki

Hizaki was sitting front of her mirror she was still in her night gown but already combing her hair. She could comb her hair for ages. Doing so she always thought about all the wrong things in the world and that kind of stuff which made her frown. She decided to dress herself up for her dear 'prince' that was probaply already awake. She picked one of her dresses and got dressed. Then she sat down in front of the mirror again wondering if she looked fine today. Doing so she heared a soft noice. Well not really a noice, more likely a sound, a sound she always recognized in the early morning. She was surtain it had to be Kamijo, practicing his sword tricks. So she walked towards her balcony. As she opened the curtains a gentle breeze blew trough her hair, it was quite cold outside. she looked into the garden seeing her fiancée practice whith his beautifull sword. She really liked waching it, Kamijo looked very elegant. She decided to call him. "Kamijo?" Her soft voice sounded trough the garden. It wasn't really like shouting because of the softness of her voice. She waited for his response.

The middle aged woman sighed as she ran a silver brush through her long, wavy black hair. She had always considered getting it cut, but she enjoyed it too much... Feeling the locks cascading down her torso, finally coming to a stop right above her waist; running her fingers through it to feel the silkiness... She loved the feel of it. That, and Alain brought up a complaint whenever she suggested getting it all chopped off. She smirked at the various responses she remembered. Lucine gave one final stroke, and placed the brush down onto the vanity top, and stood up from the dainty chair. It had been a gift from her husband before he passed away. She straightened her black dress, and tied a white fur shrug over her shoulders, to keep herself warm as she took her morning stroll through the gardens. She made her way to the door, and walked out, closing them behind her. She walked down the hallway, towards the stairs that led outside. She had long ago memorized the path she took that lead her outside. When she felt the curved handle of the door under her hand, she opened it, and was met with a chilly gush of air. she shuddered lightly, and continued on her way. It felt so nice, the air. She took in a deep breath, gathering the smells. It smelled like an early winter morning.
~~~~~
Alain had long ago been awake, but was just sitting in his room, reading a book. He had heard his mother, or who he assumed was his mother, pass by like she did every morning. He placed a marker into the pages, and set the book down. He was fully dressed, wearing a very simple outfit, and completely ready to take on the day. Unfortunately, he didn't want to. What he wanted to do was crawl back in bed and sleep for another two weeks. He wasn't getting to sleep on time, due to a personal problem. It had him on edge and thinking more than he probably needed. He walked out of his room anyway, not intending on letting sleep get in the way of his day. Once he arrived at the first floor, he exited the building, only to see his mother standing a few feet away. She had looked at him, and smiled. He nodded respectively to her. "Good morning, mother." He said, a bit automatically. It was like the same every morning. He would go downstairs, to see her either leaving or outside already. He would greet her, she would ask about him, he would respond, and they would part ways. "And how is my handsome son?" "Fine, I slept well." He lied, crossing his arms. "That's good. I'll see you later today." She said, walking away from him. He watched as she walked away. He always had a weird feeling that she never was looking directly at him. Not him, but past him. Like she really didn't care if he was there or not.
~~~~~
Gasping awake suddenly, Yvette looked around her bedroom, her breathing shaky. She looked down at the pillow, and glared. No wonder... She almost suffocated herself... She groaned, then turned so she was on her back instead of her stomach, and stared at the ceiling. She yawned, closing her eyes again, then bolted up, practically leaping out of bed. She quickly undressed out of her nightgown, and dressed in the light armor she wore nearly every day. It was airy and offered some protection, mainly on her chest and on her arms, where metal was. She strapped the sword to her belt, and made her way out of her room, not bothering to brush her rather messy hair. She was supposed to be doing her job. She quickly walked to the door, keeping her "stoic face" on, though she cast a quick glance to the basement, wondering how Kouji was doing... She looked back ahead of her, opening the doors. As she walked outside, she made her way to where the Clanhead always went to sit and read, all the while trying to tame her hair slightly. When she arrived, she bowed lightly, her hands dropping to her sides. "I overslept, I apologize sir." She stated simply.
~~~~~
Juliet had already been taking a small stroll. Her white dress accompanied with a white knit shawl made her slightly tanned skin stand out. She had heard what sounded like a sword hitting wood, and knew it was one of the men practicing. When she finally made it back to the building, she noticed the person was none other than Kamijo. She smiled lightly at him as she passed, giving him a friendly wave. Yes, they were in other clans. No, she didn't really care. It's not like the Le Versailles and the Mizer clans hated each other. She sighed lightly, now looking at the ground as she entered the building. She felt a bit downcast when she started thinking about it, and it was no different today. Maybe playing the harp later would cheer her up... She slowly rubbed her hands together, keeping them warm. The air had been a bit cold, but she also enjoyed it. It gave her inspirations when she wanted to write a new song.
Cameryn awoke, disoriented and on the floor, tangled in blankets. She sat up, slowly untangling herself. She sighed and ran a hand through her tangled hair. She quickly made her bed and walked to her closet. She picked out a simple outfit and slid the clothes on. She ran a brush through her hair and did her hair and make up. Then she picked out some accessories. Once she was done she checked her reflection and walked back to her room. She decided to go see if anyone was around. She walked out of her room, quietly closing the door behind her.
Taylor's head shot up from his desk. He looked around, bleary eyed. He looked down and saw that he had fallen asleep on his journal. He pushed it away and rubbed his eyes, yawning. He straightened his desk and stood, pushing in the chair. He walked to his closet and pulled on a plain white shirt, leather jacket, black jeans, and black high-top converse. He ran a hand through his hair, tidying it before walking out of his room, closing he door behind him. He walked quickly to the library to read for a little bit before he had to go to class.
(Whoo! You posted!)
Tetsu
Tetsu looked up from his book, disturbed by the voice of a young lady that he knew well. He noticed how messy the blond hair of his guard was and said 'You should always be presentable like any lady, wich means that your hair also has to be in order, even if you have overslept.' His voice was jsut as strict as normal and without looking back at the book, he put the marker were he finished reading and closed it. 'I have been waiting for you.' He then said 'Somehow, I knew this would happen. Go make yourself presentable now and help Kouji.' all this time, he had not even looked her in the eye. He just looked in front of him. ' Today, I also want you to help Daisuke with ihs lessons. He will be teaching the cyoungster about sword fihting, n art that you master well.'
Kamijo
Kamijo heard his beloved yell his name and did not notice that he was being waved at by Juliet. He snapped out of his concentration due to Hizaki and dropped his sword on the ground. He jumped away so that it wouldn't hit his feet, then looked up with a slightly irritated look on his face. "That was an epic ail, Kamijo." He thought to himself. He looked at his beloved and the irritation faded away by seeing her beautiful shape. 'Hey, Hizaki!' He yelled 'My dear princess, why don't you come down here?' Kamijo always had some silly, boyish ideas to try with Hizaki 'Jump and i'll catch you!' He ran closer to the balcony that Hizaki was standing on, leaving his sword on the ground.
Kyo
Kyo had noticed the beautiful Lucine walking past him. She always had a mistique elegance that he liked. He looked up as the lady past him by and stood up, after deceiding that he could as well go do something usuefull, like talking to her. He walked after her, outside and came to stand next to her. 'Morning.' He said 'Isn't it too cold?' The weather was the first thing that he noticed. 'Snow...' He said dryly. He liked snow but hated the cold. For some reason, he felt like describing the weather 'But I can barely see.' He added 'There's so much fog... I wonder how Die's going to do the shooting practice wthout shooting someone dead.' He placed a hand on lucine's shooulder, but let it slide down her arm as he was actually to short to be able to casually put his hand there. Kyo was only 160 centimeters long.
(I belie that is 5 feet and 3 inch or something...)
Yu~Ki
Yu~Ki heard someone entering the library and quickly fell silent. He was a little bit emberrassed of that he actually didn't dare to speak in public and he rather not have abnyone seeing him practicing his lesson. He sat down behind a desk that he had claimed as his pwn when he saw Taylor enter. 'Good morning, young man.' He said, a usual greeting of him. He closed the blocknotes and the books he had been reading and using. 'How are you today? Have you slept well?'
Taylor looked up and saw Yu~Ki. He nodded. "Yes, I did sir." He said politely. "I'm sorry if I am intruding. I just enjoy reading before my lessons." He said casually. A slight smile on his lips. He walked over to the poetry section and pulled out a book by his favorite author. It was by Robert Frost. He opened it and looked at Yu~Ki. "Do you enjoy poetry?" He asked him.
[center]Cameryn sighed and looked around. She glanced outside through the nearest window and smiled softly. Snow. She loved snow and she loved winter. She quickly walked outside. She stopped and just looked around as the delicate snowflakes drifted to the ground. she looked up and laughed softly.
Hizaki
Hizaki looked surprised by Kamijo's fail and laughed a bit behind her hand. It was always funny to see him do something stupid once in a while. "Glad Yuki didn't see that one..."She thought to herself. Then she snaped out of her thoughts By hearing what Kamijo said. "Excuse me... What? You mean like... Huh?!" She looked a bit confused and thoughtfull. She knew she could trust Kamijo to catch her, but still it sounded a bit uncomforteble "So..." She continued "You want me to jump... from 4 stories high and then you'll catch me..." She looked even more confused now "Are you insane!" She frowned and looked at him while walking towards the edge of the balcony, putting one foot on the fence. "Well... only because it's you" She took a deep breath and jumped over the border of the balcony. While holding her dress down she fell down while screaming quite loud.
(@ Fin~Grl~4ever, sweet!)
Yu~Ki
'you are not intruding at alll.' Yu~Ki said while putting his stuff back into a suitcase. 'It is good to see young people enjoy reading.' He was actually quit surprised to hear that the boy read before a lesson. 'I used to think that young people these day only want to hang aroung and do silly thing. I am glad to be mistaken.' He looked up from his suitcase, at Taylor and saw the book he picked. 'Yes, I enjoy poetry.' Yu~Ki said 'But I am afraid that I do not have a lot of time for entertainment books left lately. I have been asked to help the Marisu with expiriments and Daisuke wants me to teach you guys a lesson about healing.'
Kamijo and daisuke
'Yes, jump!' Kamijo yelled right before Hizaki jumped. He caught her with ease and gently put her down on the ground. 'That wasn't scary now, was it?' He asked 'You squeaker.' He gave her a kiss on her forehead, then realized that his sword was on the ground and he walked to it. Just as he wanted to pick it up, he heard a voice from out of one of the windows of the first floor. 'That's now sway to treat a weapon!' Daisuke jupmed out of the window and walked past Hizaki, over to Kamijo. 'Seriously?' Kamijo asked as he picked up his sword. 'Yeah.' Daisuke said 'Swords have feelings, swords are the holy weapons of knights and soldiers.' 'Well, excuse me...' Kamijo said, a bit overwhelmed by Daisuke. 'A sword is to be handled with care, 'prince'.' Daisuke said 'You stupid Frenchman.' 'Stupid German.' Kamijo said back. It was an old joke of them. Daisuke and Kamijo looked at eachother in silence for a while and then cracked up.
Masashi
Masashi had seen the boys arguing and Kyo and lucine talk and he deceided to go do something with his sorry life as well. he jumped back inside and went downstairs. He went to the main living room and sat down on the ocuh where he found Kyo's newspaper and he started reading. He skipped the front page, like always, because the front page news always seemd so exaggerated. He laughed about the protests just as Kyo and then put the paper away again. He sighed deeply, wondering what today would bring him.
Re: Aristocrat's Symphony ~Semi-lit~~Invite only~
Postby Queen of Spades » Tue Jan 17, 2012 7:20 am
Lucine, slightly startled at the sudden voice, soon smiled. "Ah, good morning." She said to the younger Clanhead. "No, it is quite favorable weather. If one dresses for the occasion." She glanced around, and shrugged slowly. "I'm sure things will be fine. He is quite skilled, after all. I wish Alain would have followed after him and become useful with weapons. He likes studying more than protecting. Taking after his father, I suppose." She flinched ever so slightly when she felt his hand on her shoulder, but continued walking and smiling. "Even if the two didn't spend much time together before Seifried passed away, they are nearly similar. Even their voices are the same tone. They even share the same immaturity." She sighed at the thought, then cast her eyes towards his voice. "So, how is the Von Diru clan faring?"
~~~~~
Alain, finding no use to even stay outside any longer, walked back in. It was freezing out, anyway. He shivered as he walked down the hall. Maybe he'd get some breakfast... Though he wasn't hungry right now... I'll just go read some more, I guess... He thought, taking his time to walk back up the flights of stairs. He hated how he had to walk such a long distance. Better than the Mizers, I suppose... He mused to himself. They had to walk nearly to the top. He almost pitied them. Almost. But he wasn't one to take pity on people, so he didn't. When he opened the door to his room, he grabbed the book, then walked back out. He wasn't going to stay in his room. He didn't want to seem anti-social. That would just negate any chance he had of possibly taking over after his mother died, all because she hated it when people stayed by themselves all the time. He headed back down to the main floor, an annoyed expression on his face.
~~~~~
Yvette seemingly didn't flinch when she was scolded. "I apologize... It slipped my mind..." She said, then nodded. "Yes sir." She said, standing straighter. "I will take my leave, then." She said, giving another quick bow before turning, and walking back. She sighed slowly, raking her fingers through her hair. Lady. Hm. It didn't really occur to her that female guards were "ladies". Especially not someone like her. She wasn't a "lady"... She could rough up the boys, beat quite a few of them in a fight. She wasn't the greatest sharpshooter, but she could handle a sword. She walked back to her room, hastily ran a brush through it, and tied it up as per usual, then went to the basement. She had heard rumours that some people thought the place was a bit scary. It was natural, she supposed, but she found it actually very welcoming. When at the bottom of the steps, she made her way to where she spotted Kouji working on something. "Hello, brother. I have been instructed to help you." She told him, her stoic face still not changing. Rarely did it change when in the presence of someone else.
~~~~~
Juliet had seated herself at the harp that she always played. It was in the main room, but she usually only played when there were vast amounts of people around. She ran her hands over it, testing the sound of it. It sounded just as she had left it, and she soon started to play a song. She attempted to cheer herself up with a happy one. She always got depressed when she delved too deep into that one subject. Her face was set in a frown as she played. She seemed almost mesmerized as she watched the strings vibrate every time she plucked one.
