The blonde young women let out a breath. She had tried to spare him a long day along with her, but the vampire was stubborn to say the least. Yet at the same time, though she would never admit to it, Aralynn was pleased that Al had decided to stay with her instead of tailing her siblings. Smug even that he would rather be with her then around them despite the boring day doing so promised. "Alright. I hereby promise to proceed with caution as far as he is concerned from now on, you have my word on the matter. And a real queen never goes back on her word.", Aralynn gave in. It was the best course of action to take with the other soul inside Al. Adrian, though the young royal put on a face of indifference around him, did admittedly unnerve the human. Maybe it was her instincts at being in the presence of someone she knew to be a predator or stronger then her...who knew. Not that it mattered. Or maybe it was just the fact she knew she had a part to play in whatever he was scheming and not knowing the specifics was sending a red flag up in her brain. "And if that is really your desire then I will not stop you from staying with me long as you like. Do not come to me later and complain though. I have tried to warn you.", the teen added while letting her hand drop from the vampire's.

The dark haired vampire hummed quietly a moment, tilting her head as she looked at him. “I don’t know, but I slept in a stall...” she huffed, which wasn’t much better than a hay pile. She yawned a bit, shaking her head, and watched him a moment as he removed a piece of hay. She smiled and giggled, then blushed a little...Shaking her head, she scolded herself. She thought of saying something, then what to say. She took a breath, plunging in by saying “Fallon, I...I like you a lot.”

Koon yipped as he trotted through the farm/ranch house, tail flicking gently. The small collie type, aka a Shetland sheepdog mix, squeaked when mom’s cat rushed from under the table, chasing something. It was probably a bug, or a bit of dust, and Koon snorted at said cat. He trotted up to Jamie’s room, licking their hand and nudging them until they made a small sound. They sat up, brushing through their mussed hair, and huffed quietly. They got up, got dressed, ate a breakfast bar, brushed their teeth, then headed out.

The dark haired, dark eyed boy sighed and rolled over in his sleep, shuddering a bit. He was dreaming of being on a caboose...He had no idea, but he wouldn’t remember it when he woke up, anyhow. He squeaked a few times, twitching, then opened his eyes. Yawning, he rubbed his eyes and stood up, to start the day.

" Good. It's best if it stays that way. We both know he's planning something, and you're part of it. We just don't know what, so we have to be on our guard. Nonetheless, staying by your side is indeed my desire. Besides, I'll be plenty entertained....though being able to complain about boredom later gives me an excuse to visit you, yes?" he stated, frowning as her hand dropped from his."Ms.Aralynn...'" he spoke, returning to his formal speech while retaking her hand in his. " that frown is a rather unseemly look on you. You'd look much nicer...." he paused, lifting her hand to his mouth and planting a light kiss on it, keeping his other arm over her shoulder and staying behind her. " Wouldn't you agree my dear? I haven't known you all too long, but I know it's a shame to see you frown." placing his mouth to her ear, he whispered, " All you have to do is ask for release from the chains of responsibility and mortality, and for you I would gladly oblige. " even he wasn't sure what he was saying as this point. This wasn't typically like him.... it worried him. Was his increased control time unleashing the more vampiric side of his nature that he wasn't used to experiencing? or something else?

After taking a shower, she dressed herself in a white gown adorned with lace throughout the sleeves- which were long with flared cuffs at the wrist- and the skirt- which flowed loosely around her legs, leaving the smallest of trains behind her as she walked. The top was simple with a relatively modest neckline, all white with no lace. From there she curled her hair, proceeding to clip and drape it over the ride side of her neck with a silver-and-crystal hair comb. Letting out a huff, she looked in the mirror of her room. It was a shame they couldn't host any more formal events until all of the attacks and mysteries were solved. She always did love getting dolled up- not to say she was in anything overly fancy (more of a royal-casual outfit, really,)- but she just liked the time it alloted her to enjoy some sisterly-bonding time. Anymore Aralynn was so busy, and Akira wasn't even sure if Aralynn was even home yet. Heaving one last sigh, she ventured out into the garden again. Not just too the center of the garden, however, but the outermost regions near the back of their grounds, where all that could be seen beyond the protective fencing was fields of tall grass and trees and mountains in the distance. She placed a hand on one of the bars of the mettalic barrier, longing to go frolicking through the fields with her sister and make flower-crowns out of the wild flora. Those had been better times- simpler times.

'Our?'

Since when had it become acceptable to refer to them with those two particular words? When did the blonde royal start thinking of them as 'them' instead of her and Al for that matter? Well it was admittedly easier then constantly saying her name and the dark haired vampire's all the time. Plus addressing them together as such did get rather tedious after a little while, so Aralynn supposed this wasn't that big a deal. Giving two people a group designation to call them by was merely a form of simplification. That was all. It was a perfectly logical thing to do. "If one wants or needs such an excuse then yes it does I suppose. Unless shadowing me is the cause of your lack of entertainment that is. I would rather not be a burden or otherwise cause you trouble.", said Aralynn.

When Al took her hand back to place a light kiss on it Aralynn felt herself want to shrink inwards on herself in embarassment. But she resisted. Instead the young queen graciously accepted the compliment and gesture. Though his next words caught her attention. They were familiar being almost the exact same he'd used before their return to the palace. "Al.."

Fallon was admittedly quite enjoying his outing with Konan. Though things didn't end up as he would have thought they would, not that it mattered. So they fell asleep in a barn with the animals....no biggie. Besides it meant a pleasent walk back with his fellow bloodsucker upon them leaving the public barn. And that, in turn, meant more time the male vampire had to be able to spend with his old friend. But things changed when Konan spoke up.... Fallon paused all of a sudden in the middle of a step, eyes locked on his companion. "What?"

"What have we here? A sweet swan trapped in a cage?" The voice was smooth, calm and decidedly male as it spoke up all of a sudden from beside the young heir. A soft hand came up to brush at the strands of pale blond held in place by the teen's clip. The hand and voice both belonging to an unfamiliar face around the palace. Specifically that of a dark haired young man grinning at Akira as he let her hand drop after a few seconds of toying with her hair. He'd managed to sneak up on the princess with ease in total silwnce until he decided to speak up of his own accord. Thus giving his presence away voluntarily. The young man was tall, fair and slim but not lanky or visibly muscled. He didn't seem all that physically imposing or like a threat at a glance, and wore a inviting smile which pulled the corners of his mouth upwards. His black hair was soft and a bit of a mess with the way it lay on his head. He wasn't dressed to impress. Rather in a pretty plain fashion with nothing more then a long dark coat kept open with a simple men's tunic and pants....the clothing a commoner would wear though superior in craftmenship if one were ro teuely inspect the garment pieces. Leather boots, no doubt real, finished the look.

The male kept his grip on Aralynn, resting his head atop hers with closed eyes until she spoke. " Hm? Did I say something odd?" he questioned, seemingly oblivious to the words he had recently spoken. Releasing Aralynn, he moved to stand beside her. " Well, you said you had queenly duties to take care of, yes?" he spoke with a carefree and innocent smile. " I'l be in the shadows most of the time to avoid questions, but I will inform you if I feel there is danger afoot. Until we get to your destination, however, I shall be your friendly escort and entertainment."

The sudden sounding of a masculine voice beside her caused her to freeze up, her hand tightened around the bar of the fence.Additionally, the feeling of a hand running through her hair sent nervous shivers down her spine- who on earth was bold enough to speak to her in such a way? Additionally, she wasn't trapped- she was sure she could easily sneak out if she so wished. Point was, not even their gaurds spoke to them in such a way, or anyone in their staff for that matter. A light blush on her face, caused by a mixture of slight anger and nervousness, she turned to see who had approached- though she was also curious as to how he got so close without her noticing. Surely she would've heard the footsteps- there wasn't much wind, so everything around her had been relatively silent. Finding herself facing a tall man, she took a brief moment to figure out what she was dealing with. Tall, messy hair, appeared to potentially be a commoner. Nonetheless, he didn't appear to be a threat- though that didn't mean he wasn't. She'd never seen that man before in her life. How did he even get in here? The gaurds kept a close watch on the entrance to the castle's grounds, and if he were someone here for a meeting with Aralynn, he would've be escorted the entire time- this man didn't appear to have escorts. There was absolutely no logical reason for him to be back at the edges of the gardens. " Who are you?" she questioned, taking two steps away from the stranger.

The young queen held still unable to move while Al put his head on top of her's. Not that she wanted to move away from him though. It was.....curious though. Despite his words and actions, the male vampire seemed to not be aware of what he was saying or doing if that was possible. It was almost like she was dealing with Adrian instead of Al actually. Though the blonde royal was sure that the soul at the forefront at that moment and before was the one that had been a citizen of her family's kingdom all those centuries ago. Well mostly sure anyway at this point. Was the dark haired male perhaps running low on energy? It wasn't like Aralynn knew anything about vampires, let alone enough to play healer to one. "It's nothing.", Aralynn replied, "Apologies but I was just going over todays tasks in my thoughts. Come then. Audiences take up most of the daylight hours and people will be welcomed into the castle before being led to the throne room soon enough." Aralynn wasn't sure what to expect. She could be asked to handle anything from her people and hear stories as long as the days were, yet be forced to endure listening. At least the teen had a way to be sure she would not fall asleep...a mistake she made once in one of her very first audience sessions. It was bad. "You seem happier then usual though."

The dark haired man's face twisted in a comical one of hurt at the princess's question. "Ouch.", he said looking offended on purpose, "So cold, blunt and to the point....just like a certain pain in the neck I happen to know (he isn't created yet..working on him!). Yet on a fair maiden such as yourself? I'm not entirely sure... It both hurts and is rather adorable when you attempt to act as he does." The you man sighed before smiling warmly at Akira while crossing his arms over his chest. He let his eyes drift over the princess taking in her appearance from head to toe in silence. As expected of royalty she was an eye catcher even for human royalty. The fine white delicate gown she had chosen to dress herself in that morning coupled wit her pale hair, making the impression of some ill yet lovely delicate beauty. Perhaps a chilled snowflake or the very bird he had referred to her as mere seconds ago. The poor little thing appeared even more fragile then the man knew humans to be and yet- "At any rate I do apologize for my ill behavior in startling you. I have business with the Queen this day but it seems her council isn't meeting until later in the day. So I decided to entertain myself with a tour of the grounds after hearing many things about the fine collection of nature the royal family of Emberelic has been nurturing. Giving you a fright was never my intention I assure you."

" Do I now? Hmm....well, I suppose that would make sense. It has been quite a long time since I've had control of my own body for such long periods of time. It's....nice, I guess. Though I must admit....I'm not used to socializing with humans anymore either. It used to be when we were around other vampires, I was in control, but around humans, Adrian took the wheel....I suppose...I'm just trying to enjoy the time I have, I guess. Seeing and being around all you humans right now...has just...reminded me how fragile you are. So delicate. A simple prick from a thorn could cause an infection and result in death for you all. " plus....your lifespans are so short. A part of me....doesn't want to see you live your entire life and perish without every truly having lived. he didn't add that last part.

Hearing he had indeed been there to visit Aralynn deepened the blush on her face a bit, embaressed by the fact she'd considered this man a threat. He didn't appear like a threat at all, yet she had indeed acted cold. Maybe she was still a bit thrown from the events the other day. " My....My apologies, sir, in that case. It appears recent events have put me on edge. I was out in the town just the other day, and a commoner I had tried to socialize with perished before my eyes. Someone had switched out the typical berries for nightshade, and we were unable to get him treatment in time. So please pardon my rash behavior." she spoke, trying to soften her tone a bit. If the guards had trusted him enough to wander about on his own, that had to mean something, yes? Unless...he'd snuck in with the crowd? If Aralynn and her council were meeting, that meant it was the day for Aralynn to hear the complaints and stories of her people. Shifting her stance, she tried to appear less hostile. Though she still didn't entirely trust the man, she couldn't help but be lured a bit by the gentle, warm smile on his face. The fact she saw him eyeing her up and down kept her from entirely letting her guard down. " None the less, while your apology is accepted, I believe you have yet to tell me your name?" she mentioned, attempting a small smile. No matter his actions, and his slightly disheveled appearance, he was somewhat attractive. " additionally, as further apologies for acting so rude, how about I show you around the rest of the garden? if you haven't toured it all already? Consider it an olive branch of sorts?" additionally, if he was trusted enough to walk around the gardens, there' was always the chance he could be a represenative from another kingdom- though she didn't recall having been informed of any visiting kingdoms. She couldn't take her chances, however- if he was a represenative she didn't want to be rude, but she couldn't afford complete naivety either.

In fact, she was going to stay right there the whole way back. Konan continued to hum as the two of them, plus one dog, walked, the dog's tail swinging and hitting her leg once in awhile. That's when she finally took that plunge by telling Fallon she liked him...When he questioned her, she shook her head. "N...Nothing..." she muttered, shaking her head.

"Am I not a human then? Are you not holding a conversation with me at this moment? Apparently no to both of those according to your words. This must be a dream or illusion then." The comment was snarky yet Aralynn's voice held no hint of being wise in a meanicing way. Because she wasn't trying to be. If the young women was trying to be anything it was to be discreetly humorous. "Its a mere observation yet its one that makes me glad to notice on you. You being moody all the time around me isn't good. It'll cause my own mood to be poor and I can't afford to feel anything less then confidant.", said the blonde queen looking over at her companion after listening, "If I didn't know better, however, I would assume you are only using me so you could be the one in control." Oh she hoped that wasn't the case. It would be oddly but assuredly be disappointing if Al was only staying around Aralynn so he could be the soul at the forefront for a change. The human would never admit it but it was pretty evident she enjoyed the dark haired male's company. When Al said her species was a delicate one the queen sighed. "We are delicate you're absolutely correct on that fact. But you have no need for concern. I will not leave you alone Al."

Someone had replaced normal berries with Nightshade in an attempt to poison the blonde had they? The young man had to admit it was a clever tactic...especially if they were replacing black or blueberries due to physical resemblences. Nightshade would act quickly. The poor victim would be dead before they could finish even a small handful of the miniature fruits. This human must either be a young lady of high nobility or other importance for an attempt to be made on her life. And she was, more then that, very lucky the berries were passed to the wrong target. Whoever she was it was pleasent that her manners weren't lacking and that she seemed quite willing to let him be around her. Though she was a bit on edge, the male would dub her foolish if she was compleltly at ease around him. Must be a primal instinct of some kind that kept the young womwn on her toes. Good. A smart human was actually the best to run into let alone have direct contact with.....in his personal opinion. "I have only just arrived not an hour ago, so haven't had much touring time other then coming here.  As for my name? I'm Lucas Renier at your pleassure lovely swan.", the black haired young man.....Lucas......answered.

He let out a sigh, shaking his head in bittersweet amusement. " you are indeed a human, and this is a conversation. I was simply referring to events prior to now. Believe me, If you were not human I'd pay you no attention whatsoever. Vampire royalty are perfectly capable of protecting themselves. Additionally, do not fret over my intentions. I wouldn't have taken you out last night if I didn't enjoy your company. Besides, adrian could easily take over by force if he wanted too. " his tone held amusement while his expression did not. " please do not wound me with your lies, however. You make a promise you can not keep. You've agreed humans are delicate. If you were to trip right now you could injure your head and die. Or any you live a full human lifespan, eventually you'll have to marry. And from there you will wither and perish at the end of your short life while I shall remain. One day, aralynn, you will leave, just as all humans do."

" Well...it's nice ro meet you, Lucas " she spoke with a slight curtsey, her formalities kicking in. " I am Akira Kurenai. Though I recommend not calling me swan- if the guards catch you they'll have your head. Speaking of which, how'd you get them to let you back here anyways? With all the incidents lately around the kingdom, im surprised they're even allowing for today's events to occur. " while speaking she began to walk, gesturing for Lucas to follow. Maybe it was a bit presumptuous to assume he would know about the incidents occurring in Emberelic, but she wanted to know who she was working with- informed or not, what kingdom he was part off....they had worked to keep their current situation under wraps and away from the other kingdoms. It could be seen as a sign of weakness, and they didn't have time to deal with an attack.
