1 x 1 w/ Ineffable Woes

"You never know what they will make us." He replied, smiling. It seemed like a seat yourself deal so he lead her to a booth off to the side of the restaurant. He slid into the booth after she did and smiled over at her. Luke noticed a waitress off in the distance grabbing menus for them. "This place seems nice. I wonder why it isn't busy."

"That is true, but I can't see myself hating a dessert." She chuckled softly, following him to the chosen booth and sliding along until she was at the end and shifted a little until she got comfortable. "It seems almost like the whole ship is going to be quiet, I hope so, I can get in some sunbathing. Not that it'll get me a tan, but it's nice to be in the sun for once." She leaned back comfortably in the chair and gazed around the room to take in the decor.

Luke smiled and nodded in agreement. "I think because it is so large we may have some privacy. I was expecting large groups but I much prefer less crowds." He thought about what he was planning on doing the next few days and wasn't sure. Maybe take a few photographs or go for a swim. He looked at the waitress as she made it to their table. "Here are your menus" She said smiling and setting them down. "Can I get either of you anothing to drink to start?" She asked, looking peppy. Luke looked across the table and gave her a nod to order first.

"Maybe so, what's the bathroom in your room like?" She asked, realising how strange it might come across as just as the words left her mouth. "I'm just curious, mine's not massive but it's got a bath and shower, I was wondering if perhaps all the rooms were like that." Trying to quickly explain what she meant by it so that she wouldn't sound like an absolute freak. She also remembered she needed to take an outfit photo, as really this was the first day of the holiday. She glanced over the menu briefly and smiled softly at the cheery girl, "I'll have a strawberry milkshake, please."

"I will have a vanilla milkshake." Luke said. The waitress nodded and smiled before walking away. Luke looked over at Rayne and smiled, amused by her awkwardness to the question. "I have a tub, shower and toilet. The usual." He smiled. "It is pretty nice though. I am glad we don't have to share....not that I would mind sharing with you." It was now his turn to feel a bit awkward. He didnt know her well and didn't want her to get the wrong idea about him. He began to flip through the menu, quickly picking what he wanted to eat.

She nodded slowly at his answer, it really seemed like the effort and thought into the rooms was a big deal, to her it was more an aesthetic thing. "Most cruises I've ever looked into usually have to share, or they only have a bath OR a shower, never both. I'm impressed with this place." She smiled, though found herself blushing slightly, though she knew what he meant, nodding to show that she agreed, feeling the need to explain herself again. "Yeah, I'd rather share with people I know, than total strangers. That would just be a downer on a good holiday!" She also went quiet, scanning through the menu, though she already knew what she wanted from the menu.

""Do you know what you are going to have? " He asked her, curious as to what she picked. He wanted something filling as he hadn't eaten since lunch before he came here. Luke was happy to finally be on the cruise and felt at ease now about who he would be spending it with. He actually had been planning on cancelling in order to go visit one of his sisters but she talked him out of it, saying it would be good for him to get to know someone who he worked with.

Rayne smiled softly and nodded quickly, she was a decisive woman when it came to food, it always depended on her mood. She'd gone for the standard cheeseburger and fries. She only hoped that the cheese was legitimate, rather than the rubbery, plastic tasting rubbish in typical fast food stores. "Cheeseburger and fries, I figured I'd start with the basics and slowly get more adventurous, except for the fish... I don't want to die on holiday." She grinned lightly and rested her forearms on the table.

"Not a fish fan are you? " He smiled at her. The blonde waitress came back with their drinks and set them on the table. "Are you two ready to order? " She asked, smiling softly as to not make her seem like a barbie doll like the owners wanted. Luke, once again motioned for Rayne to order first. He leaned back in the booth and made himself comfortable. He thought about doing some kind of photography in here but would have to think it through a bit on what he specifically wanted to do.

"Allergic." She explained with a smile, seeing the waitress approach the pair again and she nodded softly once more. "I'll have the standard cheeseburger and fries, please." She glanced at Luke then back at the gorgeous jukebox that was against the far wall, she realised in that moment how much she would love having one of those in her house. It would be a hit at parties and would fit beautifully in with her kitchen, as she was certain you could get smaller versions that were just as pretty.
