(I feel like crap because I am unable to write as much as you, you are amazing!)
Velkan walked back to the pack, his father had put him on hunt patrol. He started toward the woods, facing the river he and Calico had just come back too. Velkan walked with the others in the pack, silently with a lot of his mind. Dammit Calico, you have got to stop being so gullible. She needs to be more cautious. Otherwise she is going to get herself hurt, or even the pack. He was so flustered he growled to himself which caught the attention of Felix, a light brown wolf, slightly older, but not quite as tall as Velkan. "You alright, Velkan?" Velkan nodded, "Yeah, just thinking of my sister. She can be so annoying sometimes..." Felix laughed, "That's siblings for you..." They continued through the woods, toward the shallow and smaller part of the river.
Calico sighed as she watched her brother and most of the pack head into the woods. Her father went back in the den. She stood up and looked around before she bolted back toward the river where she and Velkan had been eariler. She ran straight through the woods and promptly stopped behind a large tree, looking out toward the river. She knew she was being risky, but she could not help it. Was it possible there was another wolf that didn't think everyone had to be enemies? She knew her brother would be pissed, and her father would fumed if he found out. I'm sorry Velkan, I can't help myself...
