Thor and Tony had both taken off from the Tower, flying towards the aforementioned park through the darkened sky, Tony in his suit and Thor.. Well, Tony still didn’t really get how he did it. They hadn’t spoken as they went, both of them thinking about different things. Thor was planning out things to do with and show his brother, an excited smile playing at his lips as he flew, leading Stark towards the place he had told his brother to wait for them. Stark’s mind, instead, was on Steve, Obi, and the past all at the same time. He was trying not to think about it, but with nothing else to think or do while he was flying, he was left with little else to do. He followed after Thor, though his attention wasn’t really on the god.

Thor and Stark touched down at almost the same instant, Thor landing just a beat before Tony did, causing a little tremor to go through the ground as he did so. “Now what?” Tony asked, looking up at Thor as he removed his mask. He glanced around them, taking in the few people around them. None of them looked like Thor, he decided. None of them looked out of place, either. At least, that’s what he had thought. As soon as it crossed his mind, Tony’s eyes fell on a tall, thin man standing alone by the trees. He was wearing normal enough clothes, but there was something about him, something that didn’t seem quite right. He was just about to ask Thor if that was him, when some other guy shouted at the one Tony thought was Thor’s brother.

Tony and Thor watched as the man approached. Sharing a quick look, both of them headed towards the two men, catching up to them in time to hear Loki ask the man to step back. When the man replied with such language, something within Thor was triggered. He took two large steps, easily closing the gap between himself and the stranger before rearing back and punching him right in the face. Though he was careful not to hit with too much force, the kind that would crack the man’s skull, he wasn’t careful enough not to leave the guy in a lot of pain. Thor reached down and grabbed the man by the front of his shirt, lifting him up into the air with both of his hands. “You dare speak to my brother in such a way?” he hissed, his eyes narrowed. The look within them had often been saved only for the enemy while deep in the midst of the carnage of real battles, but something about the Midgardian had triggered it as well.

While Thor had stepped forward to punch the guy, Tony had went to Loki’s side, stepping protectively in front of him, his own eyes narrowed at the man. He looked back at Loki, offering an apologetic smile as he said, “I’m sorry about him. We’re not all that stupid,” he assured the man before him. So, he had been right; this was definitely Thor’s brother. Speaking of Thor, Tony thought as he returned his gaze to the other Asgardian. His eyes widened a little as he saw that the human guy was struggling for breath, a slight blue tint already coming over his lips. “Thor, stop,” Tony said, stepping up to place a hand on the thunder god’s large arm. “Thor, look; he’s fine, okay? Your brother’s fine,” he tried to assure the other man.

Thor’s eyes were still narrowed as he glared at the man in his grasp, watching him closely as he struggled, clawing at Thor’s powerful grip as he kicked. Tony’s hands jolted him out of it, causing him to sigh before releasing the man. His eyes watched as the mortal fell in a heap at his feet, instantly coughing as blood returned to his head and air once again filled his lungs. Thor was obviously not satisfied, but at least he had listened. Turning to his brother, he looked pained. “Loki, I am.. I am sorry that this- this human- has said to you,” he said, forcing to call the man a human rather than the names he really wanted to use. Thor and Tony both were silent for a moment, their attention having fallen completely off of the stranger as they turned now to Loki.

“Yeah,” Tony agreed, still looking kind of mad about it. “Anyway, I’m Tony, Thor’s friend,” he said with a bit of a smirk, nodding to the man before him. “Thor’s told us quite a bit about you,” he said a little slyly, but he cut it out when Thor whopped him on the shoulder. “Yeah okay, so how are we going to do this? I carry him back to the Tower?” Stark finally asked, looking over at Thor now. He was glad he had made the suits to carry quite a bit of weight; he would be able to carry Loki, if that was what Thor wanted. Thor didn’t say anything, only sent a questioning look towards his brother, silently asking if that plan sounded reasonable. He was also looking his brother over, obviously very upset about what had happened. He was still visibly upset, the trembling in his body and clenched jaw, fiery eyes, and lack of speech made that clear.

Currently at Stark Tower...
“Yes, Master Rogers,” JARVIS said, his accented voice speaking softly from somewhere in the walls or ceiling, “I am here.” JARVIS was always there, unless his true master told him to go to sleep. If that command was spoken, his systems would power down. The only other thing that did it was some sort of virus, explosion, or something that caused him to otherwise malfunction and “die”. JARVIS waited patiently for an order, if a robotic program could even be patient, staying silent unless spoken to.

Dr. Robert "Bruce" Banner - The Hulk

Currently about to leave the lab,
feeling conflicted about things.
In another room, down in the lab to be exact, Bruce had stopped what he was doing. He had tired of working on the scanner. At least, that’s what he had told himself. Truth be told, he had come upon a block of sorts, one he couldn’t figure out alone. When Tony returned, he was sure they would get it, but until then? Bruce was too preoccupied with his thoughts to worry about solving such a problem. Instead of fretting over it or trying to think his way around it, the scientist had opted to sit down in a chair and think.

Bruce’s thoughts weren’t the happy kind of thoughts, as could be told by the set of his shoulders, the line of his lips as his brows pulled together. No, he was again thinking about what the man on the internet had said. Was it true? Was he being selfish by staying here with his friends? Probably, yes. Bruce hadn’t enjoyed the company of other people this much in- Well, before the gamma radiation. Still, what the Manhattan blogger had said about him made him second guess his choice to stay in the Tower with the others. Should he really be here?

Sighing, Bruce tried to push the thoughts away from him, looking down at his watch instead. Wow, he thought. He had been sitting in the lab for hours since Tony had left him. Taking his glasses from his face, the man rubbed at the bridge of his nose, something he often did when stressed out or bothered. He stood, placing his glasses into his pocket before he began walking toward the elevator. He didn’t know where he would go, or what he would do. He only knew he had been down there for far too long, and that the others were probably wondering about him again.

Loki

Okay, now Loki was starting to get a bit unnerved, he opened his mouth to tell the man to back off from him only to be cut off his elder brother who rather obviously had returned from fetching Stark. Horrified he watched as Thor attacked the man, such was so that he was unable to hear Tony’s comment. His ability to speak was stolen from him as he watched the man fight for air, thankfully Stark stepped in his way preventing him from killing the poor human. Loki couldn’t believe that his siblings actions were his own, never had he seen Thor strike out with such hatred and violence without valid cause. Thor had always been the nice one, the sun and the kindness Loki had so often enjoy, not a shadow lashing out.
As Loki once more attempted to speak out he was unable to because of the look that Thor gave him after placing the man back onto the ground. Now he was even more confused than he had been before, why had Stark not told his brother off for his actions? It clicked for him at his brother’s apology on the Midgardians behalf, the words that he had not understood must have been some form of insult in this place. That would explain why the man had overreacted when Loki had thanked him. Still it did not forgive his brothers actions, words were merely words when magic was not involved and nothing that Loki could not defend himself against. If anything Loki would rather defend himself against the words as he had far more experience in doing so, his nickname ‘Silver tongue’ had not been born of nothing.
Having made up his mind Loki set a glower on his face and before he could be cut off again he spoke out in a tone he had often used when scolding Thor for ruining yet another spell he had been trying to cast “How could you attack someone like that! Clearly his words have no meaning to me, and had they it still would have made no difference, they were only words and nothing more. That man did me no harm and even though he did not remove himself from my space when I asked him too that still gives you no right to almost murder him! Should he have attempted to attack me I have plenty of capability to fight my own battles. Although I may not understand the meaning of the words he threw at me there cannot be anything that would call for the reaction.” His fury grew with his words. Violence had never been something Loki had enjoyed, often he was mocked or called dishonorable for his illusions and magic that gave him the power to win a fight without having to harm anyone. Yet still he learned and employed them so that he might not have to sink to the level of the brutes he had so often encountered, even so his brother now stood before him so soon after they had met again acting as if he were one of them.

Steve

It took a fair bit of his reflex control in order for Steve not to jump at JARVIS’s voice, even though he had been expecting it he still felt uneasy being unable to track where someone was. Steve was still having issues with comprehending the JARVIS both was and wasn’t a someone, Tony had tried to explain it to him once but that had ended with him being even more confused than he had been before. He tried to keep a leveled voice so as not to show any fear, he didn’t want to offend JARVIS as he spoke to him “If you could, can you take a message to Bruce in his lab and ask him if he wants to come up here for dinner?”. As he spoke he turned off the stove and removed the eggs from the pan and onto a plate. Once they had been taken care of he moved to the fridge once more and this time he pulled out a mix of vegetables that he had made a soup from before. Soup was one of the quicker meals he had learned to make that could be used to serve many.

The second item he gathered was a pre-made broth from out of the cupboard, normally he would make it himself but he hadn’t seen anything that would work well with his choice of greens. Steve took the frying pan off of the stove and replaced it with a pot that he had retrieved from the same place that he had gotten the pan. The frying pan was then put in the sink for later washing. The broth was poured into the pot which he set to boil, once that was set and working he started on the vegetables.

Currently with Tony and Loki,

Anthony "Tony" Stark - Iron Man

Currently with Thor and Loki,
hungry, smirking, and ready to leave

Thor could tell that Loki was upset. Well, he was more than upset, really. Thor's face turned red, his eyes instantly lowering to gaze at the ground as Loki got onto him. He felt shame spread through his body, feeling that he had dishonored Father and all of Asgard by behaving in such a way. Even so, he did not regret his action against the Midgardian man. What the man had said was wrong, it was a terrible, harsh, cruel thing to say, even if his brother did not understand that. Perhaps he was so angry because his brother had not understood. Rather than saying something witty and sarcastic to the man, Loki had thanked him. Thanked him for an insult so vile.

Thor could feel his brother's anger lashing at him, his disappointment clear. He had done one of the things his brother hated the most, and he knew it would not be easily forgotten. Looking up in a sad, shamed way, Thor spoke in a quiet voice, his eyes locked on his brother's. "Loki, I am sorry. You are right; I have overreacted and shamed our family," he said, wincing at the thought of it. He hoped no one had seen what he had done, lest he end up on what his friends called 'the news'. "I apologize for my brash reaction brother. I should-" he stopped, pausing to think for a moment. "I am not sorry for my anger, for I find it justified. I do apologize for taking my actions so far," he said, nodding then. Yes, that was it.

Tony watched, slightly amused by all of this. It was kind of funny, the way Loki cowed Thor so easily with a reprimand. The thunder god was usually very full of himself, proud and headstrong, always doing something. With a few harsh words, Loki had made him blush, which was strange in itself, as well as apologize. It was pretty funny, and had it not been two gods he was amused by, he would have snickered. Instead, he just smirked a little, waiting for them to stop talking before he said, "Okay, are we done? I'm really hungry, so lets go back, okay?" he said, sounding like he usually did; sarcastic.

"Right, so Loki, I guess you're with me. Uh, I'll have to carry you, so.. You know, just hold still," he said, flashing another smirk before lowering his mask once again. Glancing behind Thor, Tony saw that the stranger with bad language had already left them, probably feeling pretty lucky about being alive. Sighing softly, Stark shook his head a little. Man, they were good at making enemies.

Currently entering the kitchen,
thinking about things but hungry
As JARVIS' voice reached him, Bruce sighed a little but smiled. He had to admit that he was hungry. He thanked the robot before entering the elevator, riding it up to the correct floor before he disembarked, leaving him to wander his way towards the smell of food. As he got to the kitchen, Bruce looked up, watching Steve for a moment as he cooked. He found it nice that the Captain knew how to prepare food, even better that he seemed to enjoy it. Everyone needed their thing, something to keep their mind off of dark things. Clint liked.. Well, something. He wasn't sure what. Maybe shooting arrows was his thing. Thor enjoyed eating, learning about human things, and watching baseball with Steve. Steve seemed to like cooking. Bruce liked to tinker around in the lab, and Tony? Well.. Tony liked to drink. A lot.

Walking forwards with semi-loud steps so that Steve wouldn't be surprised by him, Bruce took a seat a the bar in silence, trying to clear his head. "What's for dinner?" he asked with a smile before continuing. "Thanks for cooking. I ate something this morning but that was.. Well, a long time ago," he said with a sheepish smile. If there was one person that understood eating the way he did, it was Steve. Being a super-soldier meant you had to eat a lot, all of the time, to keep your body running. The same went for Bruce, and he often jokingly stated that he was eating for two, referring both to himself and the Other Guy.

Loki

Even all the rage that Loki had been feeling mere seconds earlier could not stand up to his brother’s sadness in the list of priorities that ordered Loki’s mind and actions. He could only manage the glare for a few seconds after he had finished speaking before he could no long maintain it and let it slip from his face to be replace by the look most commonly seen on a mother who had scolded her child a bit too much. Giving a sigh he spoke in a much softer tone than he had before, to respond to Thor “All is well, you are not a shame and I can be sure that there is little doubt that many in Asgard would have reacted much in the same way you had, abet if a different person had been in my place. I ask though that you next time attempt to restrain yourself.”

Loki did not miss the amusement that painted Starks face at his brother’s scolding, rather he chose not to comment on it, so that Thor might not notice and in turn become further shamed at his friend’s reaction. It was often commented on by Lady Sif and the Warrior’s Three that Loki had the ability to bring Thor to the level of a child within moments, he also held the skills to turn Thor from calm and collected to a raging monster whenever he was threatened. Not that Loki would ever abuse such a power, he had never pretended to be a little bit more hurt than he really was so as to trigger Thor into attacking his opponent, he would never do that.

He gave a nod to Stark at his suggestion to return to the tower, he too had not eaten for a few days and although he could for a week or more without food and when he did eat it was nothing close to the level of that his brother consumed, the magic he had used had stolen a fair bit of his energy. It was not until Stark remained him of his method of travel that he groaned in his mind. It would not be the first time he had been carried in the manor he guessed Stark would use and with his luck it would not be the last. If it was any small prize the man who he had been insulted by had gotten the sense in him to flee so that he might not cause the situation to worsen. Loki answered Stark with a curt nod and a quick “I’m ready.”

Captain America

Steve gave a smile at Bruce’s entry as he wrapped up the final preparations of the meal. “Thank you for calling him, JARVIS.” He said as he turned to carefully dump the chopped up chunks into the now prepared broth. Once that was complete and set to simmer he spoke to Bruce to catch him up on the latest happenings “Tony took the suit to go help Thor whose brother Loki has apparently come from Asgard. They should be back soon. I’m making a soup. Would you mind setting the table?”. Once that was said he began to package up the eggs he had been making beforehand so that he could eat them for breakfast tomorrow. Hearing the second bit of the question he added on to that “I really don’t mind, if anything I enjoy it.”.

Bruce had allows struck Steve as so similar to himself and at the same time so different. The two of them had both been made into being some sort of weapon that so many people in the public bought into so easily, Steve had been made out to be the perfect solider and what every man in the army should aspire to be whereas Bruce had been turned from the nice and caring man he was to some sort of monster by the media. The truth about both of them was also that they were only people, Steve had never really been that good a solider and more than once he had broken all sorts of rules in favor of his own judgment. Never had Bruce or The Hulk ever attacked someone else they had been provoked or set off.

As Loki spoke to him, Thor's eyes flitted back upwards, looking at his brother's face as he listened to the words. While he was not all that sure that he was not a disgrace to the family, he nodded anyway, a smile growing on his lips. It did not blossom into a grin, but it was there nonetheless. At least his brother was no longer angry, the thought to himself, though the angry words did stick with him. Whether he showed it or not, Thor did think. He thought about nice things like training and sparring and friends, but sometimes he was unable to stop from thinking things that he would rather not think about.

For example, Thor had gotten into the habit of getting himself down, thinking about Asgard, his friends, and his family. He was not entirely sure that his presence on Midgard was really as acceptable as the others made it seem. He often found himself thinking that, perhaps he was shaming his Father by choosing to reside in this realm. If not that, then perhaps his mother and Father were forgetting about him, shoving his memory away like one would push away an unsightly object. He sometimes wondered if he was spoken of, or if they would rather not remember.

Thor realized he had been thinking the very thoughts he tried hard not to think, with Loki and Stark before him, only making things worse. He cleared his throat and smiled, looking at Tony and Loki before he spoke. "Have care with him," he said, not making it obvious who he was speaking to. Really it was to both of them; Tony needed to be careful whilst carrying Loki, lest he offend the god. Loki on the other hand needed to make sure to be careful with Stark, as the mortal was more fragile than Asgardians. "I shall see you at the Tower," he said, swinging Mjölnir several times before he took to the air, his red cape flapping lightly behind him. In an instant, he was gone, leaving Tony to stare at Loki for a moment.

"So.." Stark said, his voice sounding a little more robotic than his normal one now that the mask was back in place. "How are we going to do this? I can carry you bridal-style, or like we're hugging," he said, not moving as he did. He really had no preference either way, and was actually being rather kind by asking. Normally he would have just bear-hugged or picked someone up and shot into the air. Then again, he usually only had to fly with someone while trying to keep them alive.. He frowned a little, realizing Thor had gotten him to be a taxi for the time being. Hmm, he'd have to do something about that, something to get back at Thor for it, even if the thunder god didn't realize what had he had done. As he was thinking, Tony looked at Loki once more, his eyes studying the man from behind his mask. "Hey, nice shirt," he said, pleased. "Kinda can't believe you're from Asgard but still like AC/DC, but hey," he said, shrugging. It made Loki kind of cool in his book.

"You are welcome, Master Rogers," JARVIS replied, his voice seeming to come from everywhere and nowhere once again. Bruce looked up, smiling a little. Even though he understood how JARVIS worked, he was still impressed by it. Bruce glanced over at Steve, knowing that his friend was pretty uncomfortable with all of the newer technology and things presented to him in the Tower. After a moment of carefully gazing at the other man, Bruce nodded his agreement.
"Sure," he said, standing a little stiffly from his seat. He had been sitting in the lab for far too long, leaving his joints creaky and hard to move. He walked to the cabinets, opening a few of them up before he found the one with the bowls. Casting a sheepish smile to Steve, Bruce got out the proper number of bowls, then glanced over at what was being cooked. "Uh, soup, right," he said to himself, turning to grab some spoons as well.

Once he had all of the correct silverware, Dr. Banner walked over to the bar, setting five places with a bowl and spoon. He would have set six up, but he doubted Clint would be coming over this late. "So, Thor's brother is coming over is he?" he asked, looking over at Steve. He had sat down at his seat once again, this time fidgeting a little. He just couldn't keep his mind from straying to things he really didn't want to think about. Instead, he tried turning his attentions to other things, such as the way Steve looked happy. It was nice, he decided, when his friends were happy. They didn't get to be happy nearly enough. He found that he was smiling a real smile at Steve, even as he waited on an answer, the thought of his friends being happy enough to rouse him out of his mood.. For now, at least.

Re: WhysperiaxLady Sif Avengers RP

{Sorry This is short but I needed to get it posted before class.}

--------------------------------------------------Loki------------------------------------------------

Loki gave an internal eye-roll at Thor’s words. Loki was not breakable, he may not be as strong as Thor and admittedly he did bruise quite easily he still was of strong blood and was aware of numerous way to protect himself via the use of magic. Thor may have been speaking to him of the Midgardian though, in which the eye roll was still deserved it wasn’t like he was going to harm the man. Unless of course he pissed him off, in which case Loki would not mind harming him at all. Actually Loki might harm him just for the heck of it. Nothing permanent though, just a bit of fun. How much weaker were these Midgardians compared to Aseirs again? Maybe Thor's warning had been slightly warranted, Loki did have a bit of a track record after all. His title The God of Mischief and Lies was most certainly well earned, if not a bit of an understatement.

Once Thor had taken off and was out of earshot Loki turned back to Stark whose mask was now in place. The design of the metal was interesting, he had never seen such armor and he did plan on asking Stark for details on the magic that ran it, it would be very interesting to see if Loki could use a few aspects of it to add the defenses of Asgard. Having seen the things they made on Midgard he felt as if they may not be as well built as they should. Such things were not of importance to the moment at hand and so he tucked the thoughts away for later on and instead listened to Starks words.

After having been offered one of two choices of travel Loki quickly sized Stark up. It only took him a few second to notice that they were almost the same height {Loki’s 6’4” and Tony is 6’5” in the suit last I checked.}. If Stark were to carry him in some sort of embrace the power the allowed him flight in his shoes would surely burn Loki. He was not going to enjoy this so he attempted to phrase it in the most elegant way possible so as to keep what little dignity he had “I do think the if we were to attempt the second choice my height could cause issues. Thus the wisest choice would be the first.” It was a couple of seconds after that Loki caught the comment on his shirt to which he replied “I do not know much of it myself. It is my first nature to cast a disuse spell of some form when I first arrive in a place, I’ve found it often leads to much nicer greetings. Religious symbols tend to vary though so I simply copied one I saw embodied on one of your shirts when I was watching Thor in the Looking Glass.”

--------------------------------------------------------------Cap--------------------------------------------------

Steve gave a nod at Bruce’s question “Yes, I’ve got no clue what he will be like though. On one hand he’s Thor’s brother but on the other he’s supposed to be the god of Mischief and Lies. Thor did seem pretty happy he was here though and the guy has been missing his family for a while so I suppose he can’t be that bad.” He mused, he voice trailing off. You could never really tell who someone was until you met them he guessed. Still he had the rights to be a bit worried about someone named the God of Mischief even if only for the ideas he might give Tony, or vice a versa. It only just then accrued to him how bad this could get. Steve gave a little sigh and shook his head before turning the stove off and bring the soup to the table which Bruce had set. It struck him as a bit odd that he had laid a bowl out for Hawkeye as it was very unlikely the man would join them but didn't question it. Hawkeye kept to himself most of the time and he would most likely come out to eat once everyone else was gone.

Using the ladle he spooned the soup into the bowls Bruce had placed humming a tune lightly under his breath. Not two seconds after Steve had finish serving the soup Thor landed on the roof top outside, neither Tony nor his brother was with him at the time so Steve could only assume that the two of them would be following shortly. Quickly before they arrived he tried to finishes setting up the dinner, it didn’t need much, just the bread rolls that he place in the middle of the table. Pepper really had equipped the kitchen well. If it was not for her he could take a fair guess that 87% of anything edible up here would be some form of alcohol.

Anthony "Tony" Stark - Iron Man
«☼»
Male - Human
Currently carrying Loki,
flying back to the tower
Tony had just realized that Loki was a little tall to be carried in the second way, but just as he started to say it, Loki interjected, supplying the information himself. Stark nodded, one metal-plated hand coming up to rub gently at the back of his helmet, much in the way he would have done if he was out of the suit. "Right," he said, nodding. "Well, looks like I get to carry you," he said, more to himself than to Loki. He stepped forward, about to take the god into his hands when Loki spoke again. Tony was silent for a long moment before he started laughing, all but doubling over from it. "Wait wait wait- a religious symbol?" he asked, finally clearing his throat to speak. He let out a chuckling sound, shaking his head. "No, it's not a religious symbol. I mean, for some people it is, yeah. But not in the way you mean. It's a band," he said simply. Realizing Loki might not know what a band was either, he continued. "You know, they sing and play instruments. Make music," he said, shrugging. He was grinning behind the suit, thoroughly amused by the idea of AC/DC being a religion.

As he came closer once more, he put one arm behind Loki's back, another resting against the bend in the trickster's knees, effectively picking him up like one would pick up their bride. "Alright, so, hang on okay?" he said, glancing down at Loki before looking up, powering up his thrusters. Soon they were shooting into the air, flying quickly towards the tower. Tony was thinking about what Loki had said, something catching in his mind for a while before he asked, "What do you mean? You could see me?" referring to Loki's comment about seeing the symbol on his shirt through a looking glass or something. Before he could get an answer, they had arrived at the tower.

Tony lowered them gently to the platform on the balcony, setting Loki down before he began walking forward, allowing his machines to remove the suit from him as he walked. When he stopped, he was once again in his usual clothes, a pair of dark jeans and a black shirt. "Welcome to the Avengers Tower," Stark said, smirking as he opened his arms, gesturing around them. "Come on, the others will be inside. It's probably time to eat," he said, turning and gesturing over his shoulder for Loki to follow him. As he led them through the sliding glass door that entered the Tower, he assumed Loki would close it behind him and made his way toward the kitchen, knowing it was probably dinner time. Good, he thought, I'm hungry.

Thor Odinson - God of Thunder

Dr. Robert "Bruce" Banner - The Hulk

Anthony "Tony" Stark - Iron Man
Bruce had been thinking Steve's words over, pondering the different ways this could all play out. If Loki was anything like Thor.. Well, it would be interesting, at least. He had watched as Steve filled the bowls, only offering a smile and a light shrug when the Captian's eyes went over the place he had set for Clint. You never knew with the guy, sometimes he was social, sometimes.. Not so much. Bruce was about to say as much when he heard a noise from the balcony, causing him to turn and look in that direction. Soon enough, Thor was walking towards them, a look on his face that Bruce just couldn't quite place. "Hey Thor," Bruce said, offering a smile along with the greeting.

Thor looked up, coming out of the thoughts he had been stuck in before smiling. "Greetings," he said to both of his friends, raising a hand. His steps came more quickly, more purposefully, and he was soon seated at the table, looking down at his bowl with a curious expression. "Where are the meats?" he asked, his voice light and honestly curious. He glanced up, looking at Steve then, the look on his face the very image of innocent, expectant, and perhaps naive. Bruce couldn't help but chuckle, though anything he was going to say was stopped when he heard the noise yet again. So, they were here.

Tony entered the kitchen, taking in a deep breath through his nose before he nodded, offering a bit of a smirking smile. "Smells great, Cap," he said, looking over at Steve. He looked down at Bruce then, about to ask something about what they had been working on, when Thor spoke, interrupting him.
"Where is my brother?" he asked, as Tony had positioned himself directly in front of Thor's line of sight, blocking his gaze.
"He's fine Thunderface, calm down," Stark said, waving Thor's question off. "Right behind me."

---------------------------------------------------Loki POV---------------------------------------------------
It took a few moments for Loki to understand Stark’s words. To learn a new language could take him only a few days by use of spells and his own skill, to relearn a language that none of his spells could properly translate the word by their meaning was going to be a fair bit of work. Having been giving the sight of Stark fully in his Armor now bent over in laughter it could easily be said that he was not anywhere near close to that goal. “Ah, I suppose that would make somewhat more sense. I do apologize, my knowledge of Midgardian culture is rather limited at this time.” Loki answered trying to keep his tone from sounding hostile, he was not fond of being laughed at. Still he was a good actor so long as his brother was not involved and he could say that his voice came out fairly normal for him.

Loki was a warrior when need be and he had fought in many a battle so he was grateful to Stark for not simply scoping him up which most likely have ended up with a spear being impaled through him for trying such a thing. However it did not lessen the moderate humiliation of being carried as if he were a bride. He fought down the urge to blush and instead chose to take a peek down toward the ground. New York City as it was called by Thor was breath taking, his view from the looking glass could not compare to what was moving so quickly beneath him.

In all of Asgard there was not a place that was as alive as this place was. Nothing in the city seemed to be able to slow down or even stop for a moment. Asgard was a slow place when it was without battle or war, things barely seemed to move at all, but here lights blurred together, to tell where one thing began and something else ended was almost impossible. It was not until the land scape stopped and he’s eyes were met with the gray of the concrete that made up Stark Tower. Loki was set down and he took but a moment to regain his footing before he began to follow Stark, he stopped for a moment as machines remove Stark's armor from him. It wasn’t until the armor was fully removed that Loki moved to catch up with Stark, watching the walkway warily.

It was only than that he remembered Stark’s question, one that he had almost missed when caught up in the scenery. Loki gave it a few seconds thought before answering “The Looking Glass allows Asgard a view of Thor and for about ten feet around him, however it doesn’t work when one who would normally be viewed is in an indecent state of dress.”. The next comment was all it took for Loki to notice his own hunger, he had not had anything to eat since a week or so ago and even he had his limits. He gave Tony a nod, one that he couldn’t see due to the fact Loki was behind him, and followed him through the door, shutting it gentle after he was through.

----------------------------------Steve POV-----------------------------------
Thor entered the kitchen area and Steve gave him a quick smile before he put the soup pot back on the stove, turned to its lowest setting so as to keep the soup warm for the seconds that he didn’t doubt would be served. Once that had been done he glanced around at the kitchen, it wasn’t too messy but the solider in him was rather dissatisfied at the disorder. He hummed lightly under his breath as he quickly got those few dishes he had used into the sink and given them a quick rinse. It was but seconds later that Thor requested as to the location of the meat. The look he gave Steve was absolutely adorable and neither he nor Bruce seemed to be able to hold back a chuckle. Before Steve could answer him he was cut off by the sound of Tony’s armor landing on the pathway. It took a few seconds for Steve to take in the man Tony had been carrying, he had a fair view of the two of them from where he stood.

The man looked nothing like Thor, nor like anyone else Thor had described to him during his stay here. Loki, was of a fair height standing just a bit under Tony when he was clad in his suit and his frame was not bulky or muscly like Thor’s. Rather it was slim and lean, he also looked quite thin, a tad too thin for Steve’s tastes. His hair was an inky black and it ran down to his shoulders, but what stood out the most was that the clothing he was wearing seemed pretty much like what he normally saw Tony wear.
Tony entered the kitchen and Steve’s thoughts snapped away from Loki and onto him he gave him a smile and responded “Thank you, you should take a seat. Same goes for you Bruce.” Before he followed his own advice and move to the table. Moments before he sat down he heard Thor’s request for his brother’s location and for a few seconds he was confused as to whether the man behind Tony was Loki, once he had sat he noticed that Tony had been blocking Thor’s view of his sibling.

-------------------------------------------Loki POV-------------------------------------------
Loki stepped out from behind Stark when he heard his brother speak. He tried to answer him but was cut off by Stark. Waiting a few seconds to ensure he wouldn’t be cut off he spoke “I am here and unharmed, brother.”

Currently at Stark Tower...
Both Stark and Bruce took a seat when Steve told them to, casting a quick grin to each other as they did. They were both hungry, and even though Bruce was a baby and had eaten earlier, Tony knew it wasn't enough to tide him over for long. Tony tossed his gaze over towards Thor, eyeing him for a moment before he spoke in an off-hand manor to anyone who was listening to him, which should have been everyone, in his opinion. "What's wrong with him?" he asked, gesturing to Thor with a nod of his head. Bruce turned to look as well and easily spoke up, answering Tony's question.

"He wants to know where the meat is," Bruce said with another chuckle, looking up at Steve with a smile before he turned his attention to Loki. He was trying not to be open about studying Loki, but it was a little hard. He was a scientist, and frankly, Loki was a very, very interesting subject. At least, he could be. Perhaps. Bruce really wanted to find out. Eventually he pulled his gaze away, realizing that he was probably being really rude. Bruce positioned his gaze downward as he allowed himself to become lost in thought, the idea of having a second Asgardian who may let him take some simple measures was almost too much for him. This, wow, this would be great! At least, if Loki agreed to it. He felt movement at his side and looked up, seeing Tony laughing quietly at him. It seemed he had not hidden his interest as well as he should have. He shrugged, smiling a little sheepishly in response. He couldn't help it.

Thor didn't notice his friends eyeing his brother. He grinned as Loki came into view, standing from his chair to clap Loki on the shoulder. Looking around, he beamed at his friends as he spoke. "Friends, this is Loki, my brother. He has come to visit from Asgard," he said, his voice loud and booming as it always was when he grew excited. He didn't say anything else to the group though, and all his thoughts of meat was forgotten. Instead, he glanced at the table and gestured to an empty seat beside him, one that sat between him and Tony. "Here brother, sit at my side," he said, grinning at Loki once again. With that, Thor sat down at the table, setting Mjölnir down on the ground beside him so that it sat between him and the seat to his left.

Tony glanced up at Loki for a moment before he spoke up, doing something that really wasn't that much like him. "So, everyone knows who this is," he said, gesturing to Loki as he looked around at his friends. "Loki, that's Steve, Captain America, Spangly," he said with a bit of a smirk towards Cap. He was only teasing. "Anyway. This is Bruce, the Hulk, you know, giant green rage-monster," he said, gesturing now to Bruce. "Clint's not here, but he's Hawkeye, Cupid, Legolas, and.. Well, everyone has plenty of nicknames for you to choose between, but I won't go into them," he said with a smirk. "And you obviously know Goldilocks," Tony said, gesturing now to Thor. With that, he looked down at his food, his stomach rumbling a little. "Now that that's over, can we eat?" he asked, looking up at Steve.

---------------------------Loki-------------------------

Loki surveyed the people sitting at the table with well masked interest, it was his first time meeting face to face with Midgardians not counting the little skirmish that had accrued outside. They were strange creature by every meaning of the word, they looked much like Asgardians did, a bit on the smaller side though. The Midgardians also lacked the bulk that every single Asgardian male except Loki seemed to possess. For a few seconds he continued his inspections up until the moment that he noticed that the one known as Banner seemed to be inspecting him just as closely. Loki then realized he must be coming off as rude and stopped in his observations, for now at least. This slight shame didn’t cause him to miss Stark’s light chuckle at his ‘science bro’s observation (Loki had heard him call the other man that at one point and for some reason he found the name to hold a certain truth given what he had seen of their behavior).

It took a great deal of will for Loki to not roll his eyes at his brother’s excitement, it took even more to stop Loki from clamping his hands over his rather sensitive ears at the boom of Thor’s voice. Both Thor and Odin had the ability to make their voice be much louder than needed at times when they got angry or excited, this lead to shouting matches between the two that left Loki without his hearing for days at a time. Loki himself had never had such an ability, in fact it was often quite hard for him to make himself heard during times when Thor was not there to silence others so he could speak. Putting that thought aside in the back of his mind where he kept the fact that he had black hair and green eyes unlike anyone else in his family line, he instead chose to give a small dip of his head.

He took the seat by Thor’s side when it was offered to him, placing himself between Thor and Tony, slightly uncomfortably, he was a bit unused to such a quiet table at dinner time, Asgardian halls were almost always filled with noise. It was quite shocking to him when Stark introduced his friends in such a manner, even more so when the worst he got from it was a short glare from the Captain that quickly faded. Thor had attacked and gravely injured for insults much less than what Stark gave him, given how short of a time Thor had been here it was odd that he would allow Stark to

---------------------------Steve---------------------------
‘Spangly? Really?’ Steve rolled his eyes at Tony’s nickname for him, before giving the other man a glare for the comment. To be honest it was hard to stay mad at Tony for any period of time so the glare was quickly dropped in favor of taking another glance at Loki. The man looked rather surprised at Tony’s nicknames for everyone and he seemed to tense up as if he were expecting some sort of fight. Just then it struck Steve that he was sitting at a table eating dinner with two gods. Damn, this was probably against more than one rule in the bible. Actually he was starting to question his faith in that to.
Putting the identity crisis aside for later he snapped back into focus when Tony asked if they could eat. “A- Yes, sure.” He nodded before he began to eat his own soup.
