Genevieve

{Sorry for lateness, it's been a sorta bad day, always a wreck on the last day of school xD}

Genevieve gave a smirk,"Oh course, it's this way."she squinted her eyes pointlessly trying to see, and resorting to primitive instincts and senses. She slightly led Zagan, yet still standing beside him in a way for support in the dark. The lantern she was carrying in the other hand swung back and forth, slightly tapping her on the knee each time it passed. Genevieve then stopped a moment, making Zagan stop as well. She put her hand up with the unlit lantern to signal that they should stay quiet for a moment. Genevieve listened and heard the familiar gurgle of a stream. "We're almost there, just across the stream. Now excited for Zagan to see the stupendous view that the grove of dead trees was popular for. Though many didn't know of it, it was the most beautiful dark place in the forest.

Zagan walked casually next to Genevieve as she led him to this special place. He kept a slow pace, knowing she was nowhere near as comfortable as he was in the dark. His eyes were accustomed to the lack of light, and his ears flickered at the slightest sound. When they stopped, he instantly heard the stream. "I hope this isn't some sort of trick to get me to bathe, Genevieve." he joked as they started walking again.

Genevieve

Genevieve rolled her eyes with a snort. "No, this isn't a trick to get you to take a bath,"she sniffed dramatically, mocking him though she didn't care much."I suppose you could use one, but if that's a problem, then stay as dirty as you like."She gave his arm an awkward little hug, continuing, but letting him lead now. She tiptoed across the stream, slightly walking in it but also hovering a little with her wings. Hesitating to fly over completely, unsure of Zagan's flying condition.

[center][size=85]Zagan smiled as Genevieve assured him this wasn't a trick. He hugged her back, a bit awkwardly before starting to walk into the stream. It was wired for him to show affection, but he enjoyed Genevieve. She truly liked him for who he was, without trying to change him. He took careful steps into the water, it quickly climbing to about mid-shin height. He looked over at Genevieve, who was hovering slightly above the water. He sighed, flapping his own wings slowly, but only heard the rattling of bones.

Genevieve

Genevieve looked over at Zagan flapping his wings slowly making her feel guilt. She quickly dropped down, slightly splashing Zagan, making her equivalent of a giggle, a light snort. "Sorry,"she murmured quietly, barely quibble over the stream's gurgle. "I-I didn't know."she whispered, You should feel bad about that, she scorned herself in her head, how could she have been so stupid. Her face contorted into a scowl, as they pulled themselves out of the water, the bottom of their legs thoroughly wet.

Zagan heard Genevieve laugh, which made him laugh a little too. He despised being wet, but you'd never know it. He folded his useless wings as he saw her begin to feel guilty. He pulled her close and kissed her forehead. "It's fine Genevieve. How could you know? Don't beat yourself up about it. I never really enjoyed flying anyway." he joked to lighten the mood.

{Ah, yes I saw. Such a shame that got shut, but I suppose it makes sense why they did.}

Genvieve

Genevieve said nothing as Zagan reassured her that he never liked flying, another small similarity. The spot where he kissed her on her forehead, becoming warm with joy and slight embarrassment. "Well, it's right through there," she pointed at a dark grove of trees, around ten meters away. She gave a little smirk, finally being able to see where she was going, and pulling Zagan along with her, again a gust of air flying out of her nose.

Zagan smirked, his eyes following her the direction her finger was pointing. He eagerly left the stream and submitted to being pulled. Only one other dragon could ever do that to him, and he would have been hearing constant threats the whole time if he tried. He relaxed as soon as they were back under the cover of trees. He was uncomfortable out in the open, who knows who could be waiting for you. Not that Zagan had anything or anyone to fear, but still.

Genevieve

Genevieve looked up through the dark trees, only seeing the moon, in a pure white crescent. "Well, here we are." she whispered in the thick silence. The grove was more or less a small amount of large black trees, dead and burned, looming over a circle of space, only accessible through a small and hidden little opening. The finger-like branches reaching over their heads and as if trying to grab hold of the white rock. "Isn't it beautiful?" she breathed.

Zagainward silent as he walked into the grove of dead, burnt trees. He looked up, towards the stars, and then back towards the closet tree. Without a word he rested a hand on the tree, and kept it there for a moment before letting it fall. Looking over at Genevieve, he smiled."This place is wonderful."
