"I'll take you exploring later, love; I promise." He swore, with a quiet smile; watching her, ignoring the people in the room. Sam wanted her to stay with him; but he knew better than to keep her out here. "I still wouldn't worry about it too much, there aren't many nerds here these days." He could recall when he'd dubbed people like that and it made him feel bad.
Sam pursed his lips slightly and slouched, sliding his hands into his front pockets. He raised a brow at her glance and tilted his head curiously. He wanted to follow her but thought against it. "Bye, Schnee; i'll be waiting." Sam called after her, as he turned and headed back into the hallway to piddle around while he waited for her.

She was about to turn back and scold him for calling her love,but decided it was too late. She walked in and sit down in a seat after she tossed the note onto the teacher's desk. She thought of the fact of his slip of tongue. Maybe he is just really stupid? Doubt that,too intelligent to think that. She snorted softly. She just had to wait for the next time she saw him. Which won't be long. It will probably be at lunch.

It was lunch now,and the hallway she had wandered down was empty. She groaned as she slid down against the wall and opened the small lunchbox she was carrying. She had found her second class with ease,and was actually really hungry as she opened the lunchbox. She had an orange,a PB&J sandwich,and cheese crackers. She loved cheese crackers. She looked around and wondered where Sam was,and smiled at the thought of him. She still didn't know what to make of him,and wondered if she would. She sighed. Was he an imaginary friend who she didn't know was an imaginary friend? That would be awkward.

For awhile, Sam had wandered; looking for something interesting to do as always. As usual, nothing intrigued him more than watching the kids play football, or gym. Most times he joined them, but today he just waited until second period, checking on his new found friend with a glance before going to the dreaded hall to have a look.
Sam waited until lunch, and went looking for her again, soon finding her alone, sitting against the wall. A small grin curled his lips as he approached. "Why are you out here alone? Didn't make any friends, Ali?" He questioned, crouching down to be eye level with her.

She looked up quickly. Her smile wide,and nodded. "No.. I made a few acquaintances..."She thought for a second,but pushed off the fact he knew her actual name by a off chance he heard while walking by the door. "But yeah,I tend to be alone cause I move a lot. I don't like meeting new people either though,so I guess I just don't feel the need go talk to someone?"She rubbed the back of her neck and grinned. "You're here though,so I guess this counts right?"She joked with a teasing smile. He was being weird.

"You seemed pretty eager to meet me," He reminded, moving to sit over beside her. He straitened a leg out in front of him, and hooked the other into a ill-formed triangle. Sam grinned at her and looked toward the floor his smile fading into a half smirk, though it continued to disappear as she continued to explain. "How fast do you move?" He persisted, glancing over at her before looking away again."It counts, I guess."

She smirked,"Well of course,you're interesting."She ran a hand through her hair with a laugh. She looked a little surprised when he asked his question with urgency. She tilted her head,and smiled slightly. "Well. I usually move every other month, minimum a couple of weeks,maximum 6 months. Though my mother said I can finish high school here."She explained,confused on why he was worried about that? She liked the idea though,and smiled wider. "Good,because I like the idea of you being my friend."
