Born To Be A Winner; Pokemon RP (1x1 with Swiftalu)

Gale looked from the girl's face, to her pokemon, who was slowly making his way over to her. "Oh no.." Gale said slowly, flinching when Cyndaquil latched his mouth onto her foot. Not like it can taste that good... Gale thought, walking over. He knelt down, grabbing Cyndaquil by the torso. "Let. Go..." Gale murmured, through clenched teeth. Cyndaquil growled, eyes looking up innocently, but was eventually forced off. The two tumbled backwards, Cyndaquil so scared his back flared into fire.

Gale pulled his hand away, literally seeing it begin to smoke. "And Joanna said you were like me.." he murmured, blowing on his hand. Cyndaquil smiled, hobbling into his trainer's lap. He leaned up, licking his hand in an appology. "Yah, that is nice..." Gale grinned, finally turning his attention to Andrea. "Er..Sorry about that... He is.. just excited." Gale appolagized, standing up with Cyndaquil in his arms. Gale walked over, Cyndaquil blinking absentmindedly as it looked to the other pokemon. "You dont look like you are from here. City girl? I saw you rush to the lab, no doubt to get your Chikorita.." he said, attemting to make conversation. "My name is Gale, by the way.. "

[Swiftalu]

Andrea giggled some when Gale latched off his Cyndaquil. Andrea's Chikorita didn't seem that impressed and just kept staring at Cyndaquil boredly. "Chiko Chiko... Chirkorita said, turning her head away to then look at a berry tree. Chikorita wondered if there were any Pokemon in the tree, hiding from others. Chikorita just shook her head and her gaze flickered back to Gale.

Andrea nodded to Gale. "It's fine, I'm sure he didn't mean it..." Andrea said. Yeah right! Nomming first on my Pokeball and then my foot? This kid is weird... Andrea thought. "Well yes, I'm from the city, is there a problem with that?" Andrea asked. Andrea sighed and stroked her Chikorita, her Chikorita giggling some. "Well I'm Andrea and I see you've already met my Chikorita." Andrea said, smiling at her Chikorita.

[Pengu.]

Gale raised an eyebrow. "Did I say anything was wrong with the city? I just dont have the...pleasure, you could say, of meeting many from the city. No one comes to a little town like mine." he replied, looking at her pokemon. "If you got the Chikorita from Elm, and I got the Cyndaquil, whoever the Professor went to see got the Todadile. Wonder who that is..." he thought aloud, zoning into his own little world.

Cyndaqil's squeeling shook him from his thoughts. Cyn was trying to get free to meet the other pokemon. "I dont think so, weirdo.." Gale murmured, slipping a berry into his hands. For now, the pokemon was content to sit and chew the food. "So, Andrea.. Where are you headed? I am supposed to be heading to the next town. Training, the normal. Maybe catch pokemon, though it seems you beat me too it.."

[Swiftalu]

Andrea just sighed. "Small world..." she giggled. "Well we don't see many country people in out city, so yeah..." Andrea said trailing off. She looked at her Chikorita who was almost at level eleven, which meant five more levels to go after that. Maybe this guy could battle her? She could try either training her new Eevee or her Chikorita. She made her pokeball larger and threw it into the air as it opened up, a swirling white light streaming out to reveal her Eevee.

Eevee? the Eevee said, sniffing at Andrea some. Eevee then jumped up to Andrea Eevee! it cried out happily, sitting right next to Andrea. Andrea looked at her Eevee, maybe he would be good to battle with, he is only a level eight Pokemon who needs more experience. Andrea smiled and picked up Eevee, cradling him in her arms, seeing a smile upon this Pokemons face. "How about a battle?" Andrea asked Gale. Oh, I'm heading towards Violet City to battle the Gym leader and win my first badge." Andrea said.

[Pengu.]

Gale looked down to her curiously, then to Cyndaqil, who was still going to town with that berry. "Well. Sure. Seems someone needs a taste of what he is supposed to do." Gale grinned. Cynda.., he squeeked, blinking absentmindedly. "Definately. Perfect training for the Gym Leader. My goal as well." he informed, walking a few feet away.

Gale set Cyn down on the ground, taking his berry. "Alright buddy.. Show me what you are made of.." he said eagerly. Cyndaquil smiled, patting Gale's foot excitedly. He blew smoke from his nose, and his back lit up with fire. "Good.." Gale said, as Cyndaquil took his place, eager to show his stuff.

[Swiftalu]

Andrea looked at her eager Eevee, setting him down. "Alright Breeze, you can show your stuff to that Cyndaquil!" Andrea said, pointing at the Cyndaquil with flames on his back. Chikorita growled some. "Sorry Chi, but your at a higher level then Breeze, don't you think the team would be great with high leveled Pokemon?" Andrea smiled at her Chikorita and then looked at her Eevee.

Eevee, ran up into his position, his mood automatically changing into and aggressive Pokemon, ready for battle. Eevee cried out some, ready for battle, his tail lashing around as he grinned at the Cyndaquil. He looked behind him to see Andrea and cried out to start the battle. Andrea giggled some and she saw her Eevee turn back to his opponent, a Cyndaquil. "You have the first move" Andrea said, Eevee smiling at the other Trainer.

[Pengu.]

Gale nodded, looking at the Eevee curiously. Eevee, normal type. He had seen it fight, mainly relied on stat changes, and short tackles. Cyn could fight from far away, avoid the close blows. "Alright Cyndaquil." Gale said, determination clear in his voice. Cyn replied with an excited cry, eagerly blowing fire from his mouth.

"Cyndaquil, use Smokescreen, followed by Tackle!" he said, and Cyn nodded. Cyndaquil locked eyes with Eevee, releasing black smoke from his mouth. The area was dimmed into darkness, making visability hard, and the field covered with a think smoke. Cyndaquil moved silently through the smoke, looking through it. He burst through, knocking into Eevee's back with an 'uff'.

[Swiftalu]

Eevee shook it off and growled at the Cyndaquil. "Breeze, use Sand attack followed by a Tail whip!" Andrea said. Eevee nodded and kicked up a dust cloud, which was a ground type move and raced in, quietly looking for the fire pokemon. He spotted him and quickly and quietly raced at the Cyndaquil and Tail whipped the Cyndaquil, to lower defense stat. Eevee quickly retreated back into his position and smiled.

Andrea nodded toward the Eevee and smiled, she could finally train him to be a strong Pokemon! She studied the Cyndaquil closely and nudged Chikorita to watch carefully as well. Eevee waited for the next move to just jump at him, preparing his speed and defenses.

[Pengu.]

Cyndaquil shook the attacks off, blinking a bit. His vision had detered, but he was still able to fight. He could go on all day. Being a highter level helped as well. Gale thought for a moment, narrowing his eyes at the pokemon through the smoke. "Cyn; Circle around through the smoke. Then, make this place burn.." he said, nodding to his pokemon.

Cyndaquil recieved the message, loud and clear. He circled around the Eevee, slowly speeding up into a run. As he ran round the pokemon, Cyndaquil opened his maw, releasing a stream of fire around his opponent. Cyndaquil had Eevee surrounded by a wall of fire, and he raised his head in triumph. Gale smiled proudly.

Eevee just smirked some, knowing his trainer knew what to do to stop this. "Breeze, use Sand Attack to put out that fire!" Andrea said to her Pokemon. Eevee quickly kicked sand at the flames, making them die out. Eevee quickly hopped to a different place and looked at his Trainer, wanting another move.

Andrea looked at Eevee and shook her head. She waited for the Cyndaquil to make the next move and then smiled. "Don't try playing tricks on us." Andrea said, smiling at her Eevee. The Eevee nodded and faced forwards again, grinning some more at the Cyndaquil. Andrea thought through some of Cyndaquil's moves quickly, just only two of them, but they would have to do.
