[Falls]

Sigma watched idly as the two drunkards passed by in a loud clamor. She took the moment's pause to sip from her bloody mary. Finally, the door closed behind the men, leaving the room in a seemingly quiet peace compared to the din they put up. "A car manufacture? How did you come to own such a business?" She asked, clasping her drink in boths hands in her lap.

"Rich family." Lucien answered curtly, finishing off the wine in his glass. Though, of course, that was the exact opposite of what his family had been. He simply wanted to kill this girl and get it over with, but every time he looked to her, he saw Allison, his dead lover. He shook his head, cursing himself to forget about the petty issue.

[Falls]

Sigma was instantly jealous. Her family had never been rich. Her family had just barely made it through before Sigma started hacking and fronting some of the money back home. Despite all this, she smiled. She had to keep up her cover. "Yeah, I know how that is. My father's business has been in the family for generations." A sudden beeping made her jump, nearly spilling the last of her drink on herself. She sighed and gave a nervous laugh as she reached into her purse and pulled out a blackberry phone. "Excuse me," she mumbled apologetically as she checked the new text. After skim reading through the sequence of numbers, she translated it in her mind from code to English. She had a new job offer, but there was a five hour window of time before the target database switched servers again. With a sigh, she dropped the phone back into her purse and looked up at Lucien. "I'm so sorry, I have to go." She stood. "It was good talking to you, Lucien."

Lucien watched as she read the message, and instantly noticed her calculating whatever the message said. He needed to get his job done, and quick. "Mind if I come with you? It's getting terribly boring watching imbeciles fight." Lucien sighed, standing as she stood. He had his pistol in his pocket, as well as a dagger and the poison. The dagger would be silent, but it wasn't a guaranteed kill. Though, it would be, coated with poison, that was. Deciding to go with that method, he awaited her answer.

Sigma shook her head. She couldn't hack and entertain a guest at the same time, but what bothered her was that she was choosing the job over a hot, rich businessman. Oh well. "I doubt I'd be any more entertaining. Besides, I have to take a call from my father." She trailed her finger along his shoulder as she walked past the couch and towards the elevator. "Perhaps I will see you again tomorrow."

"I suppose I'll just go to my room for the night, then." he replied, stepping into the elevator as well. He could make a quick run to his room and grab some lockpicks to get into her room when she wasn't suspecting. Though he still got the unfamiliar pressure in his chest everytime he glanced to her, the same feeling he got when he had been with her. The Assassin bit his cheek to curb the course of his thoughts, the coppery taste of his blood entering his mouth from his cheek.

Sigma nodded and pressed the button for floor #2. "You on the second floor as well?" she asked as the doors closed and the elevator began to rise. She glanced up at his face and then away, wondering if it was still to late to invite him to her room. Stop it. Of course he can't come in, you've already accepted the job.

"I do indeed. Room 832." Lucien replied, giving a grumble as the bluetooth unit in his pocket began beeping obnoxiously. He plucked it from his pocket, putting it on his opposite ear. "Yes?" he growled, recognizing the voice of Vicente, another assassin from the Brotherhood. "Have you finished your job?" Vicente's voice blared from the device, and Lucien winced, turning down the volume so "Katie" wouldn't here any more of the conversation. "I'm sure you have better things to do than to bother me, Vicente." he said in a dangerously calm tone that Vicente knew not to mess with, and also knew it meant that Lucien hadn't completed the contract yet. Vicente mumbled a quick goodbye as Lucien hung up, putting the bluetooth unit back into his pocket. "Sorry about that." he chuckled, giving "Katie" a smile as the elevator reached the second floor.

Sigma gave a nod and a bright smile. "What a coincidence. I'm right across the hall-" She was interuppted by the buzzing bluetooth. As Lucien finished the short conversation and put the earpeice back in his pocket, she tilted her head to the side, giving a confused frown. "Job? I thought you said you were on vacation..." The elevator stopped and the doors opened.

"I am, the stupid lout just wants to pile more work on me." Lucien said the excuse with a grumble as he stepped out of the elevator, beginning to walk down the hall, walking at a leisurely pace so he wouldn't leave his target behind. It was a good thing that her room was right across the hall. It'd be much easier and quicker to get the job done for him, then.
