Morningstar is open

Morningstar leapt calmly onto the great rock, ears twitching slightly as he glanced at the other leaders. The majority of the leaders were familiar although he rarely spoke to them. Morningstar had always preferred to listen rather than speak. He got information without having to say anything at all about Caveclan.

Woolyfur is open

Woolyfur sat down with the other deputies.

Shadedleaf tagged with Archpool of Briarclan

Shadedleaf purred softly as she lay down, tucking her paws comfortably under her body as she relaxed. "Oh yes. He hasn't been an apprentice for moons though. I'd suspect he's rather hopeful we get another apprentice soon. We have two expecting queens and he's mentioned the topic to me more than once."

Rowanfur + Ebonywing are open

The pair sat down in the midst of the clans, close enough to keep an eye on Duskpaw. Ebonywing had expressed her worries about Duskpaw earlier and the pair had decided to keep an eye on him. He was such a nervous tom and without the other apprentices, Duskpaw felt ill at ease. Ebonywing had assured him he'd be fine, but he'd still seemed worried.

Chiveclaw + Hawkfeather are open

The toms sat side by side, waiting paitently for the gathering to start. Studying the cats around them, Hawkfeather wondered if he ought to talk to anyone. Perhaps if he was approached, he'd be glad to chat but for now, he was content to sit with Chiveclaw.

Duskpaw tagged with Forestclan

Duskpaw blinked, a bit startled. Most of Caveclan were quite close as well even if they weren't all related. "Most of Caveclan is like that too." He replied. Not everyone though. Ferretclaw and Lilystem had little liking for kittypets. Neither of them said anything about it, but they hadn't been too pleased when Morningstar accepted a former kittypet into the clan. He nodded at Boulderpelt and said, "Yes. Right now, there's Ashpaw, Poppypaw, Stormpaw, and of course me." He explained. "Mistfall, Tigerjaw, and Willowtail are warriors now but they're barely older than the rest of us."

"I'm sure if Squirrelstar was here, she would offer Echoclan's alliance to your Clan." Raggedtail smiled. "She always helps out the new Clans whenever she sees them." The long-haired ginger tom curled his tail over his paws. "If you'd like, Echoclan could become allies with you and help you out when you need it."

Brindlecloud purred happily. "One of them is a dilute calico like me, and the other one is a ginger like you." She mewed happily. "I haven't named them yet... I wanted to wait for you." She scooted closer to Appleheart, wanting to be as close as possible to him. "If you want, I can bring one of the kits to you..."

"I've always hated fighting. When I came to Echoclan, I wanted to find a way to help the Clan without having to injure rival cats." Crowpaw smiled. "I was really surprised with how quickly I learned how to use the herbs, I thought it would take me forever."

"Everything in Echoclan has been alright. A few of our clanmates are sick but it's no big deal." Gorsebird mewed, curling her bushy tail over her paws. Bramblingflight and Icefang cast each other unsure looks but it quickly disappeared. The three knew it was best not to say anything about the sickness in Echoclan until they were allowed to. "How's life in Forestclan?" The long-haired she-cat asked.

Snakepaw's whiskers twitched in amusement. "I get what you mean. Usually apprentices are the ones that brag about their Clans a lot, but I hear it from warriors more." He laughed. "So you joined Briarclan? Where did you come from before?"

Sandpaw looked over at Mudpaw, a curious look on her face. The sandy-colored she-cat quickly looked away, trying to think of something to do so she wouldn't be as awkward.

"Those are Bloodyclaw's kits." A voice hissed from nearby. Sandpaw turned her head to see some warriors from a rival Clan glaring suspiciously at her and Snakepaw. Sandpaw felt Snakepaw stiffen next to her but he didn't drop his conversation with Russetpaw, deciding to ignore them. Sandpaw's ears flattened back against her head and she turned back to face the Briarclan apprentices.

"That would be great!" Appleheart mewed, a large smile spreading across his face. "You're welcome to choose either one to bring - maybe we could meet at the border tomorrow night? As for names... 'Tawny' comes to mind for the ginger. You can name the calico."

"Hm," was all the warrior uttered. He stood there a bit awkwardly for a moment, trying to think of something else to say. "How big is your Clan?"

"Yeah, let's go..." the white warrior mewed, quickly turning to shoot a glare at Frigidrose before returning her attention to Badgerfall and leading her a few fox-lengths away. "Sorry about that.... So how is your Clan doing? Is it a big Clan?"

Frigidrose hurried off in a huff as Frostpath left with the BriarClan warrior. Suddenly she bumped hard into a smaller cat, perhaps an apprentice. "Ugh, watch it, mouse-brain!" she hissed at the dark tabby. "Mere apprentices like you should know to stay out of a warrior's way."

The deputy flicked his tail at the cheery tom "As with you." he called in farewell. Bouldershade didn't wait long to lay down and take a moments rest, his eyes threatening to close.

"I am sure with the two of you, you won't need the extra set of paws. Though I was lucky enough to have at least a moon between kittings. I am worried however, one of the queens will be kitting in the middle of leaf bare." Archpool frowned "I have been stalking up on as much herbs as I can, just in case you know?" The tom was looking up now, the stars were starting to twinkle one by one as they appeared in the sky. Looks like Starclan is starting to join them, the leaders must be starting soon.

"As I said before, don't worry to much about it. Briarclan is doing okay, a group of warriors and our leader were injured though when the confronted a badger. Archpool says they will be okay though, they just need to rest up and heal." Badgerfall took a second to shift her weight and get comfortable as she sat down before continuing "The clan is not the largest but it also is not very small either. Bunch of grumpy cats reside there though if you ask me." she smiled. "What about Leafclan?"

Coppereyes did not want to come but didn't voice his opinion this time. He knew Badgerfall was going and wanted to see if he could learn more about her. She didn't share much of her past with anyone in the clan and he couldn't help but be awestruck by the molly. He kept his distance of course as he sat down away from the cats and just listened in on the conversations around him.

The brown tom looked over at a warrior, the one that hissed at the group "So rude.." he muttered. Mudpaw then noticed that Sandpaw looked kind of uncomfortable and tried to think of ways to cheer her up "Don't listen to them...have you ever explored the whole clearing? It is much larger than it seems, and the rock the deputies sit on is so flat! As if through all the moons the cat's bottoms wore it down." he chuckled at the thought.

"Well I was a loner before I came to the clans but the first clan I joined was Thicketclan. There was a large flood and I lost consciousness under the water and woke up to my new mentor. She is so nice, she came tonight but I don't know where she went. We both joined Brairclan afterwards though." Russetpaw heard Mudpaw's bad joke and his whiskers twitch in amusement "That is the worst joke I have ever heard!"

"I would also like to extend the offer of an alliance," said Honeystar, looking at both Briarstar and Raggedtail. "To both of you."

Birchnose's whiskers twitched with amusement. "I'm sure they'd appreciate it, too," she said. "But at least we have enough to get through the leafbare, which is a relief."

Boulderpelt nodded. "Say 'hi' to 'em all once the Gathering's over," she said. Her head jerked up when a warrior--molly, by the scent--bumped into Duskpaw and hissed at him. "Well, you should have been looking where you're going," she said calmly. Barleystream nodded while Adderstream and Dustpaw simply stayed still, watching where this would go.

Dawnstorm's tail twitched. "May your clanmates be well soon," he said. "Forestclan's been doing great!" he continued. "My mate's kits were born a little over a moon ago, and they're wonderful." He purred, remembering how they tried to keep him from going to the Gathering. While they were too young to talk, they simply sat on him until Snowfoot and Fleckstorm had pulled them off. "Not much else has been going on."

"Over twenty cats strong," said Oakheart proudly. While he couldn't say that he liked everyone, at least Forestclan was a good large clan that cared for each other. He could live with that. "What about yours?"

'an alliance?' she asks internally. maybe she should take it? maybe not. allies, she could use the allies, but these are complete strangers. in the end her young, energetic mind got the best of her and she nods to honeystar. "i would be honored," she goes, softly, a spark of hope in her eye.

Bouldershade looked around, got up and jumped up next to the leaders. He was tired and wanted to get back home so he decided he would start the clan announcements this time. He boldly moved to the edge as he has watched Cloudstar do before and noticed that it seemed to get quieter "I am Bouldershade, yes I am just a deputy. Cloudstar is back at camp, he is doing fine and just sent me in his place this time." he lied. "I would like to report that Briarclan has grown strong and the clan is ready to take on leaf-bare and its bitter cold." And with that he backed away, hoping a leader would go after him so he did not feel so awkward.

"Looks like they are starting, though I don't know why Bouldershade went first. It would have been better if it was a rtegular leader first.." Archpool noted out loud in a quiet voice. The medicine cat finally got up "It was nice to see you Shadedleaf, I look forward to seeing you next gathering. Bouldershade looks as though he is ready to bolt though and I need to go stop him." With a small dip of his head for respect he turned around and trotted off towards his clan mate.

"They will be back on their paws in no time, I am sure of it." Badgerfall meowed happily. The white and black molly quieted down when she heard Bouldershade start the announcements, she knew he was exhausted from all the added work back in the clan and couldn't help but feel worried for him. At this rate he is going to collapse on the way back and there was no way she wanted to carry that large tom all the way back to camp.
