Journeyman Ferondir of Mira ~ Lanayaru City ~ Day 7, 8:48 PM
Ferondir looked up from the orb he had grabbed. "What?" He asked. "Oh, uh yeah."
Ferondir walked up to the zora and knelt beside it.
The creature was coughing up blood. It looked dazed and confused.
"I don't know what's wrong, if I try to heal it. I could kill it." He turned the zora onto it's side, so it wouldn't choke. "Don't move," he said. He checked it's pulse and listened to it's aura.
It was exhausted.
He examined the hand that had touched the orb.
The palm was red.
"Looks like it's been burned." He felt the arm. It was still hot.
That probably meant that whatever was inside could be... cooked, hopefully not badly.
He held his hand over the hand and arm. "Sanetur" he whispered.
The burns cooled and the signs faded.
He tested the muscles and tendons of the creature's neck.
Everything felt right.
He pressed gently on different parts of the creature's chest, until it reacted with a moan of pain.
"It's lungs were hit."
He held the gem of his staff over the spot and spoke shakily, hoping this was the right spell. "Refrigeraret caput"
A chilly mist flowed from the Jewel, into the zora's mouth and lungs.
The zora gasped and coughed.
This time, there was no blood.
Ferondir sighed in relief. He hadn't even realized he'd been holding his breath.
"It's okay. It just needs rest now."
