Honeystar led her clan into the giant clearing, looking around for someone to talk to. She was mildly surprised that they had arrived so early, but it was always for the best. She jumped onto the Leader's Rock, turning to an unfamiliar tom. "Hello," she said. "I'm Honeystar of Forestclan. And you are?"

Crowcloud wandered over to where the medicine cats usually met, having sent Dustpaw off to be with her siblings. He saw Brindlecloud, the Echoclan medicine cat, and padded over to her. "How's your clan doing?" he asked. Hopefully she had found a cure for the mysterious illness and felt a sudden pang of guilt as he realized that he had forgotten to look for a possible cure himself.

She dashed onto the leader's rock, the young leader looking around the gathering area with awe.

Raggedtail stiffened slightly when Honeystar came up to him. "I-I'm Raggedtail of Echoclan..." He mewed. "Squirrelstar and Smokespeck are both sick so Squirrelstar asked me to take their place."

"Nobody new has gotten sick and nobody that is already sick has died yet, so that's good." Brindlecloud mewed to Crowcloud. Crowpaw sat close to his mentor, his ears pressed back against his head.

The spotted tabby she-cat leapt up to the top the Great Rock with ease and dipped her head in greeting to the other leaders. One caught her eye, one she hadn't seen before. She padded up to them with a small smile. "Hello there," she meowed. "I'm Emberstar, leader of LeafClan. Who might you be?"

The two medicine cats padded toward where the others were gathered - only two others, it seemed. Instantly Appleheart recognized Brindlecloud, and it took just a second longer to recognize the other. "Hello," he mewed a bit quietly. Willowcloud frowned just the slightest and allowed herself a small sigh. Her apprentice just wasn't himself lately.... She decided she would give a proper greeting. "Hello, it's nice to see you!" she purred.

Frostpath grumbled a bit as she and Frigidrose entered the Gathering clearing. Frigidrose had demanded that she stay by her side throughout the entire thing. The poor she-cat had just lost her son, so it was understandable that she wanted some company. They decided to sit near the edge of the clearing. Frigidrose certainly seemed irritable, and it was quite the mystery to Frostpath as to why she had requested to come. Little did she know that the silver tabby was hoping to stir up some trouble.

Brindlecloud frowned and tilted her head to the side. "I'll be right back." She mewed to Crowcloud before getting to her paws. She bumped Appleheart's shoulder gently with her shoulder before leading him away from the other medicine cats. Brindlecloud turned to her mate, a concerned look on her face. "Appleheart, are you okay?"

Morningstar is open

Morningstar leapt calmly onto the great rock, ears twitching slightly as he glanced at the other leaders. The majority of the leaders were familiar although he rarely spoke to them. Morningstar had always preferred to listen rather than speak. He got information without having to say anything at all about Caveclan.

Woolyfur is open

Woolyfur sat down with the other deputies.

Shadedleaf is open

Greetings her fellow medicine cats with a cheerful mew, Shadedleaf sat down, tilting her head back to study the skies above. It had been a cloudless day and that didn't change as the sky grew darker. As she studied the stars, the medicine cat relaxed, letting herself enjoy the view.

Rowanfur + Ebonywing are open

The pair sat down in the midst of the clans, close enough to keep an eye on Duskpaw. Ebonywing had expressed her worries about Duskpaw earlier and the pair had decided to keep an eye on him. He was such a nervous tom and without the other apprentices, Duskpaw felt ill at ease. Ebonywing had assured him he'd be fine, but he'd still seemed worried.

Chiveclaw + Hawkfeather are open

The toms sat side by side, waiting paitently for the gathering to start. Studying the cats around them, Hawkfeather wondered if he ought to talk to anyone. Perhaps if he was approached, he'd be glad to chat but for now, he was content to sit with Chiveclaw.

Duskpaw is reserved for Frigidrose

Nervous to be attending a gathering without any of the other apprentices, Duskpaw kept to the edge of the mob of cats, green eyes anxiously sweeping the crowd for the other apprentices. The tom's nerves were on high alert tonight and the absence of his friends was far too noticeable to the tom. He'd wished they'd come but Mistfall, Tigerjaw, and Willowtail had just become warriors and we're guarding camp and Morningstar hadn't asked any of the others to come. Ebonywing had assured him he'd be okay on his own and that no one would hurt him as it was the full moon, but still, poor Duskpaw missed the protection and friendship of his fellow apprentices.

Orchidstar had been slightly startled by the leader that had suddenly appeared behind her. She relaxed when she saw her friendly smile, sending one back. "Oh, hello there! I'm Orchidstar of Gorseclan, and as you can probably tell, somewhat new." She let out a nervous chuckle, giving her chest fur a few embarrassed licks.

Batwing strolled up to where the deputy's sat with confidence, his bright green eyes lit up under the moonlight. He bounded towards them, stopping to stretch out his tired legs.

"Oh." Honeystar hadn't known that. She hoped that it was nothing more than a cough, although it was possible that the sickness was something else. Greencough, possibly. "I hope they get better soon," she said. "Is it you first time filling in for Squirrelstar?"

Birchnose saw Ashenclaw approach and called out a greeting. "Hello, Ashenclaw!" she padded over to him. "Is there anything new?"

Crowcloud nodded and watched as Brindlecloud wandered away. He narrowed his eyes. Who was that tom? Well, it wasn't his business anyways. "How's your training coming along?" he asked Crowpaw.

Dustpaw dragged her siblings towards a lonely young tom, who looked anxious. "C'mon!" she said. "You only get to come here on occasion. And he looks to be our age!"

Boulderpelt marveled at her sister's transformation. Just a few moons ago, she had been shy and unsure of herself, but now she was the most commanding, something Boulderpelt had been those few moons earlier. "Alright," she said. When they reached the tom, she took the chance to introduce herself. "I'm Boulderpelt of Forestclan," she said. "My littermates are Adderstream, Barleystream, and Dustpaw. Who're you?"

Dawnstorm looked around before padding over to three cats who looked like they were from the same clan. "Uhh...hi?" he said, unsure of himself. This was only his second Gathering, and he hoped that he wasn't doing too badly. He remembered talking Briarwhisker's ear off the last one, but without someone with him, he had less confidence. "I'm Dawnstorm of Forestclan. And you are?"

Oakheart padded into the clearing, wandering off on his own. He wasn't yet very comfortable with Forestclan, and his pride still stung from when Honeystar hadn't promised to give him a kit to mentor. He spotted another tom and wandered over. "Hi," he said. "I'm Oakheart from Wi-Forestclan. And who're you?"

The exhausted tom made his way into the clearing and slowly made his way to the deputies rock. He forgot that this gathering he was the one to make the announcements for Briarclan as he struck a conversation with the nearest cat "Haven't seen you before, I am Bouldershade." he kept the yawn back that was threatening to expose his tiredness. "Deputy of Briarclan." he added quickly.

Archpool made his way to the other medicine cats and plopped down. He didn't care if others saw how tired he was. The tom looked around him though and saw that there was a molly looking up at the sky "Nice evening don't you think? Starting to get chilly as well though but still nice."

Badgerfall kept her cool as she entered the clearing, this was obviously not her first gathering but she did not intend on telling any cat. She looked around in hoped for a recognizable face but spotted none, a frown appeared on her face for a split second. With a shake of her head she trotted towards two cats that sat near the edge of the gathering "Hello, nice night tonight don't you think?" she meowed to the two.

Coppereyes did not want to come but didn't voice his opinion this time. He knew Badgerfall was going and wanted to see if he could learn more about her. She didn't share much of her past with anyone in the clan and he couldn't help but be awestruck by the molly. He kept his distance of course as he sat down away from the cats and just listened in on the conversations around him.

briarstar slipped into the enormous crowd of cats, a lone leader in this wide arrange of cats. with a sigh, she gazes upwards."the moon is gorgeous tonight," she murmurs to no one in particular. it's odd, being near so many others, even though she's supposed to start running a clan. and being out in the open - that was even weirder. there was usually fog in dawnclan territory, but this wasn't home. cats chattered around her as she settled into a sitting position, wrapping her tail gracefully around her paws. 'look poised, proper, like you're better than them even though you're not,' her mother would say. she doesn't miss her. with a sigh, the leader begins to zone out.
