Shiallia - Lanayaru - Everyone

Shia watched Ferondir carefully. Her friend looked scared, and she wanted to help, even though she wasn't sure what she could do. She walked a little faster to catch up. "Hey... It's... It's gonna be alright, okay?" The words sounded forced, even to her. "Well, maybe not. You know..." She lowered her voice. "I'm not here because I want to be a hero. I don't even care about saving Hyrule. I'm here because I care about you guys, and I wouldn't be much of a friend if I ditched you as soon as it got dangerous." She did her best to smile encouragingly. "I know I'm not as strong as you, but I promise I'll do my best to keep you safe."
Please be patient with me, I'm super lazy and super forgetful. If it's my turn in a roleplay, feel free to pm me, I probably forgot. Heck you know what you can pm me anytime tbh I love getting pms.

Zeph observed the group, each weighing their own pros and cons of continuing along willing with Veneficus' schemes.
Though he wasn't overly fond of the idea of plunging into a realm of eternal darkness, and inevitably encountering the prisoner who dwells in such realms, he understood that it would be a necessary challenge. He understood what they were as a group. What Veneficus said they were. However, precautions must of course be taken.
He watched, and listened, intently as Veneficus began to open a portal- that of which will allow them to escape the room unnoticed.
Zeph closed a golden lined book, with black and gold mobile ink inscribed on the insides. He glanced at the shimmering title one final time. "Sageful Stories: Bordix and Bygones". It glinted in the light as he put the book away.
As the portal was created, accompanied by an ambient creation noise, a field of dark blue energy surged downwards through the ground, forming a liquid, rippling, surface across the field.
Zeph, now incredibly curious and fascinated, approached the hole in the ground, examining it.
He looked downwards, and saw past his reflection in the liquid.
It looked as if below the liquid was a tunnel. If tunnel was even the word that could be used.
A dimensional pocket? Zeph mumbled.
The tunnel seemed to go all the way down into an old, decrepit, room far below the ground. The tunnels walls seemed to reflect space.
Not metaphorically, quite literally.
The threshold of the cylindrical tunnel shimmered luminously, brightened by stars from some outer reach of space.
Woah... Zeph said, pulling out his Stele, and prodding the surface of the portal.
Zeph, still crouching next to the portal, tapped the surface, as it revealed an intricate spiral like rune.
He began to draw on the surface, until someone leaped over him, and into the portal, forcing the runes to fade into mist.
In the process, also knocking the Stele out of Zeph's hand, and causing it to plunge into the portal.
Oh- Hey!

-=0 Drimaethor 0=-

Drimaethor listened quietly as Veneficus continued to explain and warn to them the risks of what it was he wanted them to do. There were times when he wanted to voice the fact that this was a bad idea, but he made some very good points. Apparently good enough points to make him not mind that they'd be trapped in that other place for who-knows-how-long.
Veneficus opened the portal as an escape route.
Oh, now that looks like fun. He said, knowing full well that it looked too tempting to pass up.
He took a few steps back and bounded over Zeph into the portal.
When he broke the surface of the portal, he felt a cold shiver crawl up his spine, and he felt like he was drenched in water, though there was none.
The fall was slow, as if he was falling downwards through a pool.
It was nice though, because he enjoyed the view.
Quite often as a kid he would gaze up into the stars, naming his favorites and making up stories about where they came from. He only ever dreamed that he would actually be among them.
At least, it looked like he was among them. Even though there were some weird translucent magic walls.

-=0 Zeph 0=-

Well- I guess that's my cue. See you through the looking glass. Zeph said, deciding to accompany Drimaethor, and maybe more importantly his stele, through the portal.
With that, he gestured an index-fingered salute and stepped backwards, plunging back-first, stylishly, through the portal.
As he broke the surface, it felt like the cold lake he enjoyed spending his summers by.
He attempted to take-in as much of the environment around him as he could, smiling as he saw beautiful stars, galaxy's and other worlds.
Though, he plummeted quickly through the semi-viscous fluid, and emerged on the other side, falling from the ceiling and landing on the damp underground floor.
He smiled as he grabbed his stele, and put it back in his pocket.

Journeyman Ferondir of Mira ~ Lanayaru City ~ Day 7,8:45 PM

Ferondir nodded, glancing at her.
"...and I wouldn't be much of a friend if I ditched you as soon as it got dangerous."
Ferondir looked away, back into the tunnel. That's exactly what he'd been considering. When she put it like that, it really sounded scummy.
Drimethor and Zeph thumped down behind them.
"I know I'm not as strong as you, but I promise I'll do my best to keep you safe."
Ferondir didn't respond, mostly out of shame, but a thought occurred to him.
"Hey. Why are we down here? Did Veneficus say anything?"
(Ferondir was not present for the explanation)

"Uh... There's some magic skull or something, I think." She glanced at Ferondir. He looks even more upset... Maybe I should just be quiet. "I... I'm sorry if I said something wrong. Are you okay?"

Night 7/Andromeda/17/Where: Lanayaru City Underground Stronghold/With: Everyone

Andromeda peeked over the edge of the bridge, out of one of the conveniently placed barrels that happened to be there. Looking down, it seemed like the bright and shiny portal was closer than it actually was. She leaned over to look into it, but accidentally caused the barrel to tip over and hit it's side against the surface of the bridge. Falling towards the portal, Andromeda immediately realized that she had fallen completely out of the barrel, and it was on a trajectory course towards the sand instead of the portal. Before she could do anything, she felt herself slip through the portal and land on a hard surface.
THUD!

~~

Night 7/Veneficus/156/Where: Lanayaru City Underground Stronghold/With: Everyone

Veneficus stood up and looked around the sandstone hallway that he had landed in, holding his lantern. He was immediately surprised to see that the torches going down the hallway were lit. Someone had been here recently, and they were probably still here. He extinguished the light in his lantern and looked around. Several relics lay among the shelves on the walls. They appeared to be very ancient and well valued. There was one closet-like area in the wall containing several weapons and pieces of armor. On the other wall in that area were several square-shaped holes with colored orbs sitting in many of them. Each one had a unique symbol on it. Two of them were glowing rather brightly, one of them cyan with a green feather on it and one of them green with two silver kusarigamas on it. Veneficus above all of the slots and noticed a familar symbol.

What have they been up to?

~~

Night 7/Guzore/20/Where: Lanayaru City Underground Stronghold/With: Everyone

Guzore excitedly jumped off the bridge towards the portal, taking no consideration to the noise he was making at night in the middle of a crowded city.
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Guzore's sides barely brushed the edges of the portal as he went through, leaving a temporary blue glow on parts of his body.
THUD!
Woo, that was fun!

~~

Night 7/Andromeda/17/Where: Lanayaru City Underground Stronghold/With: Everyone

Andromeda lifted herself off of the ground and felt strange. She felt a connection with this place somehow. She immediately realized that she was exposed, without a barrel, and scavenged the shelves, looking for any. Upon scavenging, she noticed a familiar trident sitting in a closet. She felt like she had seen it somewhere before, but she wasn't sure where.
What have they been up to?
Andromeda turned around in the direction of Veneficus' voice and saw the many orbs in the wall. The green one with kusarigamas on it was glowing very bright. She felt drawn to it. She felt like it was hers, even though she couldn't recall seeing it before. She slowly reached out her hand and touched the shiny, lustrous, glowing orb.
BZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!
<EPIC PLOT TWIST TIME>

Re: [Invite-Only] Legend of Zelda: Explorers of Hyrule RPG

Zeph looked around, observing the decrepit, withered, and damp storage room the portal had opened up into.
Within seconds of exiting, his senses were bombarded with masses of passive magical energies, surging around the room.
He had to withdraw for a moment to collect himself- the magic zooming around the room was quite immense.
He lifted his hand, and twirled his finger, noting how distortions formed as it moved through the air when he barely even applied any form of stimulation.
He noticed Ferondir and Shia discussing something, both looking rather solemn given the circumstances.
Zeph waved his hand back down to his side, enjoying the stream of purple energy it left in it's wake.
-I know I'm not as strong as you, but I promise I'll do my best to keep you safe. He heard Shia say. Hm. What gave it away? Zeph thought in reply, unintentionally, of course.
Zeph began to rotate a sphere of light blue energy between his hands as he made his way to Ferondir and Shia, preparing to-
-Oof. Drimaethor exhaled, as Zeph accidentally walked into him, unaware of were he was walking.
Sorry, must still be dizzy from that fall. What a portal, right? Drimaethor said, attempting to make conversation.
However, Zeph thought about Drimaethor colliding with him and causing his Stele to fall through the portal.
Yeah. Zeph said nonchalantly as he eyed the dark haired archer who towered in front of him.
Be more careful next time while you're at it. Zeph said, about to walk past Drimaethor.
I like your flame sword. He added, before tapping the metallic sword, and abruptly walking past Drimaethor.
Hey. Why are we down here? Did Veneficus say anything? Zeph heard Ferondir say as he approached.
Uh... There's some magic skull or something, I think. Shia said, attempting to explain, and showing what it was she actually got from what Veneficus explained. Hm. Helpful.
I... I'm sorry if I said something wrong. Are you okay?
At that point, Zeph swooped in behind Ferondir, placing his arm on Ferondir's shoulder, allowing his cloak to swoosh as he entered.
To be more....specific.... We're down here because we have to get a skull, of apparently high magical value, before the Bordix get to it before us. Which, as this storeroom seems to suggest, no one has been here in quite a long time, so I'd take it we're the first.
Zeph removed his arm, and began to look around the room, scanning the walls quickly.
Do you feel that? He said, gesturing around the room.
He swiftly tapped the air with hand, as he did thin, multicolored strings weaved and networked through the immediate vicinity, tracing the energy patterns.
After a moment, the strings dissolved as Zeph turned back to Ferondir and Shia.
My guess? This mass of magic energy is concentrating around the object we came to procure. It must be pretty powerful if I can feel it all the way out here.

-=0 Drimaethor 0=-
Drimaethor was looking at the various objects, writings, and things that were around the room. They all seemed old, like no one had been in there in a very long time.
This is so cool, first that space portal that took us here, now artifacts?
Oof. Drimaethor let out, as he was accidentally bumped in to.
He was about ready to say something, but he noticed it was just Zeph, and it seemed like he didn't do it on purpose.
When Zeph looked up from the ball of blue magic he was holding, which turned into a blue mist when Zeph stopped concentrating, Drimaethor just sort of looked down at him and said.
Sorry, must still be dizzy from that fall. What a portal, right? He smiled, figuring that he didn't really talk to Zeph enough.
Yeah. He said, seeming distracted.
Be more careful next time while you're at it. Be "more" careful? What? It wasn't even my fault how could you- Drimaethor thought, as he was about to tell this kid, before he was interrupted.
I like your flame sword. Zeph said calmly, tapping the blade at his side before walking away.
He felt the sword hum at his side.
Thanks? He said, as he looked back at the artifacts scattered across the room.

(For some reason Shinceon's first post got rejected and I realized that I never posted on the actual forum anywhere that he would be posting, so this is my official on-the-forum permission for Shinceon to post in this roleplay~)

Andromeda Everyone

Right when he touches the ord he falls on the ground screaming in agony as his eye glows orange energy spewing out of it. As well as plasma like magical fire covering her and everything around her scrouching anything with the super heated magic fire.

Journeyman Ferondir of Mira ~ Lanayaru City ~ Day 7, 8:46 PM

Ferondir was nodding, about to answer, when his friend touched his arm, and started explaining about the skull.
He caused the air to explode into magical lines of color.
Nice trace, Ferondir thought. He extinguished his staff.
He listened, but no auras except their's seemed to be down here. There was an echo, but he assumed that it was just their own songs bouncing off the walls. He couldn't help but feel the uncomfortable chill he had learned to associate with magic. There was a lot of it here, just as Zeph had said.
The torches along the walls were lit. Clearly, someone HAD been down here.
Was Zeph being stupid on purpose?
"We weren't the first ones down here." He said. But something was bugging him."Why would the desert people bury such a treasure? I'd expect it to be in a place of honor."
Then he remembered the stories. Not long before he was born, all of wizard kind was feared by the people. Maybe some of that fear is what drove the people of Lanayaru to hide such a thing away. He was glad he was born when he was.
He still saw some of that fear when he met others. Della, the zoras. Even that one boy who had tried to steal from him. Surly it was only because he was a wizard. Still, it was better then what his masters, and their masters had dealt with. It was only with the founding of the Guild that most of the open hostilities stopped.

Definitely not a Journeyman, Ravoo of Somewhere ~ Underground Stronghold ~ Night of Day 7

Ravoo was having fun in the sandstone hallway, he figured out how to play one of his favorite games using the shelves of ancient doo-dobs and fling-dwats. The game he was playing he learned about from some kids he met near some Imagesteam back in the alleys of Arbor Harbor. The game was called ImageDoorframe and its rules were so ridiculously complicated that they completely changed the way the game worked every 386 seconds. At any rate, he figured out how to play it using shelves instead of doorframes, and was amusing himself as the others bickered about some nonsense about a skull.

...
As he played his game he came across a large sand brick that was a little different from the others. As customary to the part of the game, he flicked it 2 times, poked it with a stick, then kicked it with a fish strapped to his foot.
"Dof klos ahgre aram!" the brick, or something speaking behind the brick shouted.
