Catherine smiled after being reassured, sometimes she was known to worry too much about silly things. “Maybe I will, then I’ll be able to spend more time with you,” she said as she looked up at him with a happy gaze.

Catherine giggled softly and wrapped her arms around his neck. She looked at him and smiled “Me too,” she replied, happily. She couldn’t help but feel giddy about the idea of just coming to the palace to see souly him, instead of coming to clean as well.

"Come on, we cant stay here forever. Let's go somewhere!" He holds her hand and heads off, walking a little bit in the castle, then going through the town. Xander smiled, having fun being with Catherine.

Catherine smiled and fell into step beside him, her finger intertwined with his. “You know, people are going to be quite confused seeing you holding hands with someone dressed like this,” she said quietly so that only he could hear before laughing with amusement. She was wearing the typical help dress, so of course people were going to talk, but it didn’t bother her, she just thought it fun to confuse them.

"Well we could get you a new dress. Either way they will have to just deal with it." He smiled at her and laughed at the thought. "Even if that is your work dress though I find you to be quite beautiful Catherine." He heads through the town anyways, happy as long as Catherine is next to him.

Catherine felt a blush spread onto her cheeks at his compliment “Thank you, Xander.” she murmured, placing her free hand to rest against his upper arm to almost bring herself closer. She watched the people around her, she didn’t usually walk into town because she didn’t always feel the safest. But he made her feel safe, and carefree.

Xander smiles at her, seeing how relaxed she was when he was there made him feel special. "No problem Catherine." He looked around and he did notice that there were people that looked at them, some of the ladies were jealous at us, but Xander didnt mind because he was with Catherine.

Catherine made eye contact with some of the girls watching, but didn’t mind them much. She looked up at him and smiled “You know, you look quite handsome today.” she said in a quiet tone.

(You know, I was actually thinking about so heckin’ drama that could happen but it’s okay if you don’t want to. I was thinking once the town people kind of catch onto who Catherine is, they could snatch her and try to weasel money out of the royal family to return her. Because drama.)
