I sighed my head falling against the cold stone again as i almost yet again dozed off. Luka was still not back yet. I was freezing, and I felt as if i'd turn into a popcicle. Sighing I sat up putting some wood in the fire pit. Then working on lighting it. My eyes drooped as I sat there trying to get the fire lit. But I was wide awake once that flame wrapped around my index finger. Biting down on my tongue so I wouldn't scream I cradled my hand scooting away from the fire. A few tears rolling down my cheeks, at how bad I had gotten burnt. Ignoring the trobbing pain in my hand I looked at the fire, as it glowed and produced heat instantly warming me up. I sighed looking down at my finger, cringing at the damage the fire had caused. Tears glistening, in my eyes. Before spilling over. I was alone scared, cold, and burnt. God I hate being burned, though it happened all the time. It still hurts a lot. And I hated it. I hated being cold, gave me goosebumps. And even a cold, I hate colds. I hate being alone, I always feel like someones watching me. I hate being scared, It's showing weakness. Most of all I hate being alone and scared. Cold while in pain, and crying all at the same time. I hate everything!

➸ I got closer to the cave. I shifted back. I was freezing, my fingers were bleeding from when I slipped on the rock, my clothes were soaked from that dreaded rain. I got to the cave. I didn't say a word. I just walked inside, and going to sit by the fire. I examined my fingers, realizing that there was nothing more than a small cut or two on them. I licked the blood off them before warning them but that fire. After they were warm, I teseted how well I could move them. I choked back a growl as I did, it hurt. Bad. My clothes were drying, but I didn't dare take them off. Well my shirt anyway. I sighed and took off my shirt. Then I reached over and grabbed my jacket. I had left that here. Thank goodness. I put that on, immediatly surprised at how warm it was. I started shivering. I don't do those noises that people usually do. No. I just shiver. I was cold, tired and hungry. I was somewhat tempted to take my jeans off. If I did, they'd cry faster, but then again that would leave me in my boxers and jacket. Yeah... no. This storm was horrible. I Almost snarled, although... I had a growl in my chest. I hated being stranded, Period. And when those search and rescue helicopters come in, I'm going to kill them all. When I get home anyway. I didn't even realize Kat was here. Well, until I sniffed the air anyway. I moved towards her. She was holding her hand. I reached my hand out to her. The wounds were there only a few seconds ago, but now they just left scars. I didn't mention I could heal myself did i? No? Well there you have it. I can. ''Kat. What's wrong? What happened?'' I asked her in a soft voice, staring right into her eyes. My heart sank a little, she didn't look good. I had an urge to hug her, and fight away every fear that she has hidden and locked away. And I couldn't help but growl, this is the one girl who should never be scared.

I wiped away tears with my good hand, before looking up as Luka came in. Biting my lip, I looked away from him. And looked down at at my finger again. Sighing as I seen the blisters, and some of them even bleeding now. I couldn't look at my finger anymore, not if I don't want to start crying that is. My head snapped up,and I looked at Luka as he came over to me. "Nothing, just a..... burn I guess"I said holding my finger up. I avoided looking at my finger, an sighed shaking my head.

➸ "Let me see." I said gently taking her hand and looking at her fingers. I got up, and walked over to the fire, putting another log in it, I waited for it to catch. Turning back to her, I smiled. "Once the rain stops, i'll take you to a spring i found. The storm should pass by soon." I said walking back over and sitting down. I couldn't help but hug her. I mean, I've kinda got a soft spot for her.

I tilted my head back looking up at him. I watched him tilting my head to the side. Biting my lip I sighed, "okay." Running my hand threw my hair I curled up against him as he hugged me. I rested my head on his chest, and sighed. I tilted my head back looking up a him.

I watched her smiling, before planting a quick kiss in her forhead. I had this warm, fuzzy feeling in my head, and I likes it. -for once- i, slowly and carefully, ran my fingers through her hair. ''When we get outta here, I'm going to find that company, and I'm going to talk some sense Into the Owner. And I bet, this is all over the News.'' I said softly, setting my hand at my side. I leaned back against the wall, watching the fire's flickering flames wiith interest. I turned my head to look out the cave, the cave lit up as lightning crashed. I didn't move, I just tensed. I wasn't worried, nor scared, just... a little protective. Outta habit people. I didn't realize, the so-called ''flash'' of the lightning hit my eyes at the right angle, turning them into a ''redish'' color. It's just reflected, like..... ats eyes! Yeah, how they work.

I smiled slightly, laying my head on his chest again. I rolled my eyes and looked up at him, "probably, but they probably think everyone dead, so they weren't searching for anyone, except bodies maybe" I muttered. Sighing I closed my eyes, and licked my lips. I stared at the fire dazed, and mezmorized by the flames. Biting my lip let my eyes slowly droop. Before I was spoke awake by the flash of lightening, and the thunder following. I curled up more pressing against Luka more. Sighing I squeezed my eyes shut, eventually falling asleep.

➸ {Reality}: I closed my eyes, hugging her as she moved closer. I was exhausted, But this storm wasn't passing by any soon. "Yeah, They won't be looking anytime soon." I muttered, forcing the growl out of my voice. I sighed, and tried to sleep, I wasn't going to really fall asleep. Oh who am i kidding?! I need sleep. I yawned, and relaxed, Before eventually falling into one of those sleeps your not sure you can wake up from. And i wasn't sure I really wanted to wake up from it.

➸ {Dream}: I was dead. I was sure of it. My body felt cold. I couldn't move, or could i? I wasn't in that other form, No. I kept seeing her face. Yes. Kat's face. Her face. I felt all... cold. I was really cold. I found myself walking, slowly. I was in pain, but from what? Betrayal? Love? Physical Pain? What? It was cold, and I realized it was snowing, Small flakes floating everywhere. They landed on my, and it felt nice, I was shivering, I continued walking, Bloody foot prints making a path behind me. I found her, Bundled in warm clothing. I felt myself moving towards her. But she backed away, I collapsed, Watching her, I grabbed the snow in front of me, trying to hold back tears. I gritted my teeth, before I closed my eyes, accepting the fact i was going to die....

➸ {Reality}: I was shaking, but I wasn't waking up. I my hand or foot would twitch. I gritted my teeth but i couldn't wake up from my dream. Or was it dream? It looked so real, felt so real. I couldn't wake up. I didn't wake up, even as I cried out. Not in pain, nothing, it was a nightmare. I didn't even notice Kat, I was still asleep, unable to wake from this nightmare. Why would this happen? I started to move around, in almost painful looking jerking motions. My wails were getting louder, even as I fought to wake up, i just couldn't. But Why? Why couldn't I wake up?!

I sighed glancing around. This place was familiar, but I couldn't remember where it was at. Looking up at the big door leading to the house, I pushed it open. Biting my lip I glanced around as I stepped into the nice house. I looked up at the pictures on the walls, and recognized them as my family. "Mom. Dad. Are you home? Stevus! Maxxy?" I squeaked. Running up the stairs, I gasped as someone stepped out from one of the rooms. "Stevus you scared me!" I sighed smacking his chest. He just laughed and ran down the hall. "Hey where are you going?" I called running after him. I ran out on the patio and gasped. "Happy birthday!" My parents said. And maxxy blew some horn thing. "Oh my God" I said. "Oh we have a surprise for you, come on out boy" my father called. I turned around confused. "Happy birthday Katrina" a male voice said stepping out. "Luka?" I gasped. He just smiled wrapping his arms around me. And began to shake me.

I gasped waking up, "some birthday this is going to be" I sighed before looking at Luka. I gasped escorting away from him, as he began flailing around. And crying out, crawling over to him. And pinning his arms down, "Luka wake up, wake up" I said flipping my hair over my shoulder. Pinning his hand above his head I sighed, and straddled his waist. I was very uncomfortable, but he looked to be having a nightmare, and I was just trying to wake him up.
