Wildpoppy's eyes widened in shock at Tux's question before letting her gaze dropping to her paws. "I...I want kits but there are no toms around my age in Echoclan that are interested in me. I think my time to be able to have kits won't come." She mewed sadly.

Tux smiled brightly at her as he leaned forward and touched her nose, happy that she was willing to give him a family.

"i would very much like that." he said with a happy grin, "then maybe we could give each other the large families we want?"

his eyes were hopeful, and hinting at something else, as he stared deeply into her eyes.

Tux was glad that she did not seem to notice his effort to change the subject, though it did open for an even more interesting conversation.

"you know, i have felt the same way about Jinxclan." he said with a grin, "that is why i have decided to look elsewhere. if you keep your eyes, and you mind, open then you never know what might happen."

Tux gave her a rather suggestive smile, "who knows, maybe your chance at a family is right in front of your nose."

"Y-You?" Wildpoppy mewed, raising her head back up quickly to look at Tux. "But I thought you were interested in one of those other she-cats form the gathering." She mewed, getting to her paws.

Momo visibly recoiled, tears stinging her eyes. She had only meant it in a teasing way and now Honeyfur was lurching around, hissing like the very act of being around the bobtail was painful. She took a step forwards and then several back. "I'm sorry? I didn't mean to upset you like this? Are you- are you alright?" The she-cat bit her lip, wanting to give the medicine cat a comforting nuzzle, though admittedly for more reasons than just comfort, but judging that such an action might just make Honeyfur lash out again and this time, at her. So instead Momo just stood there at an awkward impasse with the pretty she-cat that made it so hard to look away.

Barkknot flashed the departing Thistlethorn a quick grin, murmuring "I will," as the she-cat turned away. But with her eyes scanning the Aspenclan border to no avail her smile quickly faded. Anxiety was beginning to creep in. What if he didn't come? What if a patrol found her and Nettlefoot and attacked them? What if Nettlefoot grew bored and her precious day was wasted on a tom who never showed? "Tanglestep?" She dared to mew across the invisible scent line, then quickly clamping her jaw shut upon realizing how stupid announcing her visit might be.

The excitement of the night had finally caught up with Dandelionbloom and she yawned audibly as she snuggled against Tux. Her eyes were squinted with happiness and sleep and the she-cat felt as if she could stay under the bush pressed against Tux forever. They'd have to separate later, she knew that, but for the moment she didn't want to think about it. Dandelionbloom was safe and cozy and desperately in love with the tom who would be the father of her kits. "Could life get any more perfect?"

"Give the she-cat a goldfish!" Sorrelstar mewed, settling into her normal lower voice for the sake of her throat. "You have it spot on! Do you have mind powers or something? The gathering is always too loud and too busy! Great for making friends but you never can talk to them!" Not to mention the shouting and the shoving would lead to headaches later that night and droopy eyes the next day. Pushing away her grouchy train of thought, Sorrelstar flashed her grin at the pair again, they were receptive so far and she could use that. "Our clans are 'friends' but I barely know anything about Moorclan or Blueclan! I bet they're super interesting!"

She flicked her ears in surprise, eyeing Sorrelstar carefully. She was terribly cheerful, Fritillarystar would grant her that much. ''Y-yes.'' The tortoiseshell replied, with a respectful dip of her head. ''Moorclan is growing.'' She lied through gritted teeth. No matter what occured, Fritillarystar was not going to let anything slip about Moorclan. ''What about you, Tawnystar?''

"blueclan is growing as well! we just gained a new warrior, shadefang. of course snowpaw attacked him as soon as he came into camp because he thought another one of my warriors was being held hostage...but what can you do?" she said, amusement and disapproval both in her tone. she thought for another moment and chirped with pride, "my kit silverkit will become a medicine cat apprentice in a moon. i have...mixed feelings." she said, her eyes flashing as she thought about mallowpool being so close to their kit.

Smokewhisker nodded, smiling a little. "both our clan will grow. Speaking of growing clans, and since you know more than me, which clan do you think is the biggest?" he wondered.

Sorrelstar noted the Moorclan leader's cautious answer and vowed to get more out of her later. Personally she had no intent of revealing Beechclan's status either, even though they were frighteningly close to a certain cause of the problem. You know, I could just let them drink it. No Sorrelstar, you couldn't, you wouldn't let yourself do that. Flicking her ears as if banishing a pesky fly the leader cocked her head and listened to Tawnystar. A real smile bloomed at talk of Silverkit, she couldn't help it.
"My son Asptail is our medicine cat currently, there's no better job for him. If a kit, your kit, loves something then I guess a mother just has to let them be." Even if it means your clan is weaker for it, well I guess there's always Pigeonpaw.

Rosetail tilts her head. "That's a good question that I'm not sure I know the answer to," she admits. "I know EchoClan and BeechClan are pretty big, but I'm not sure which Clan is the biggest, per se."
