as soon as obsidianclan arrived to the gathering location, chestnutstar made her way to the other leaders. "greetings, i'm chestnutstar, the leader of obsidianclan." she mewed, giving a dip of her head. she examined each of the leaders silently, trying to see who would make the best allies for her clan. she had quite the high standards for who she wanted to be allied with.

bristleclaw sat at a distance, his eyes glued to his leader and mate, chestnutstar. he tried to read her lips as she spoke to the other leaders, but he could not make out the words. he did not have much of a motive to talk to others.

palenose had spotted what appeared to be a group of medicine cats, but he could not find it in himself to approach them. instead he watched the other cats of his clan, trying to see what they were up to. he was ready to help if any were injured, but he did not think it was likely. the gathering was not supposed to be a fighting ground, right? it was supposed to be a way to make allies.

blossompaw and frecklepaw sat together as their mentors crowfall and hawkeye sat at a distance, watching their apprentices and talking amongst each other. "i hope something exciting happens!" she mewed, and frecklepaw nodded in agreement.

Sagestar padded into the gathering place, strolling calmly through the crowd. He'd done this plenty of times in the past, and it no longer fazed him terribly. Climbing the high rock, he expected that his fellow clanmates would've settled in easily enough. He sat stoically, watching the other clan leaders join them. It was getting crowded, he noticed with an amused smile, that vanished at the sight of Squirrelstar. Feeling terribly uncomfortable all of sudden, Sagestar turned away from Squirrelstar, pretending to take a deep interest in his deputy below. He did not feel ready to come to terms with the death of her medicine cat. Greynose glanced at Sagestar, and smiled weakly at his leader. The grey deputy wished that his son and mate could've come but then again, it was leader's word and Greynose would keep to that rule for as long as he lived. The deputy padded placidly through the crowd, smiling politely to every cat that he met with. Greynose wanted to talk to someone, but was uncertain whom. Spotting a rather unnerved Burrwhisker making his way through the crowd, Greynose could not help but shake his head slightly, disappearing into the crowd. He was trying to shake off Sootmask, searching for Sedgetail. He only wanted to talk to Sedgetail, but Sootmask just wouldn't leave! ''Will you stop running off?'' hissed his sister, glaring at him. ''Sorry.'' Burrwhisker grunted, looking miserable. Rosepaw was happy, and nothing to spoil her day, she thought, leaping past cats without a care, until she spot a cat that was almost her doppleganger. ''You look like me!''' Rosepaw squeaked.

He was not the only one looking for his loved one, Ravenflower and Blacknose were both searching for their own. The black and white medicine cat frowned slightly, Littleglow was nowhere to be seen, although she knew Reedclan was here. Sighing, and almost giving up, Ravenflower spotted the tabby warrior and smiled brightly, bounding up to him. ''Hey, Littleglow!'' She greeted him. Blacknose was still searching for her dear Oakstream, flicking her tail in irritation as she could not find him anywhere. ''Brownpaw, have you seen Oakstream?''She inquired, Brownpaw shook his head and darted off, spotting Swanfoot's white figure slinking towards two sinister she-cats. Swanfoot vaguely recognized them as Thistlethorn and Nettlefoot. ''Hello.'' She smiled strangely, sitting before them. ''What are you two plotting, I wonder?''

Fogstar turned to Sorrelstar "Hello, Sorrelstar, it's great to meet you. Smokeclan has had quite a few cats join recently, and we'll be having a couple of kits soon!" Fogstar mewed proudly "But anyways, how's Beechclan doing?"

Sandpaw glanced at Oakpaw "Oakpaw! Wait!" Sandpaw's call made Oakpaw stop. The tom looked back at his denmate "What is it, Sandpaw?". Sandpaw walked closer torwards him "Could we stay together? This place is pretty big and I'd be much more comfortable to go with a cat that I knew." "Oh, sure!" Oakpaw mewed happily "Great! Where are we going?" Sandpaw asked. "Well... err... I don't really know..." Oakpaw stutered "Hopefully we can find like... a group of apprentices or something?" the tom mewed shortly after "Oh, yeah! That'd be nice!" Sandpaw agreed as the two cats began to wander around in hopes to find some other apprentices.

Addertail sat by himself. He wasn't a very social cat and he didn't exactly like crowds. I should've stayed behind in camp. Then I wouldn't have to be in this over-crowded place, and I could even see Wrenstripe's kits... Starclan knows for how long we'll stay here... And yet, even when he wanted to be out of the gathering so badly, he knew that he'd feel bad if he would leave Fogstar, Rainheart, Oakpaw and Sandpaw here by themselves. But this didn't mean that he had to enjoy his stay here.

Rainheart did the same thing that Addertail did. She sat down a bit further away from everyone and observed the cats and clans that have gathered.

"Hello there." Briarstar mewed, approaching the white and ginger she-cat who had introduced herself as Deerstar. "I am Briarstar, and I am the leader of Thicketclan." He spoke of his clan with pride, glancing down at his cats that had settled into the gathering. "It's a younger clan, but it will grow strong." He announced to Deerstar, his bushy tail wrapping around his paws.

Honeyfur flinched, turning her aloof amber gaze to the approaching tom. Her tail swished behind her, and she responded. "Yes, I'm alright. First gathering is all." Actually, it was mostly the hustle and bustle and everyone around her. However, she didn't want to be rude, so she didn't speak the full truth. She tolerated her clanmates, even beginning to embrace their company, but outsiders were another story. However, she viewed it as better to perhaps build some relations. You never know when you might need help. She meowed, "I'm Honeyfur, the medicine cat from Thicketclan. You?"

Dapplewhisker left the main crowd, settling around the edges. She noticed a nervous black and white tom, and she trotted over. Keeping a friendly smile on her face, she waved a tail in greeting. She asked curiously, "Hello! Who are you?"

Jaystar purred right back before stepping back slightly to reveal her two kits. "This her is Mistlepaw and Mudpaw. My new set litter." She said, pointing each respective. "Kids, I'd like you to meet mama's best friend and leader of Echoclan, Squirrelstar." "Hi there!" Mudpaw greeted first, bowing his head. "Salutations Ms. Squirrelstar." Mistlepaw purred kindly as she bowed her head and pat her lashes.

It's quite alright I assure you." She chuckled before sitting up, 9C98A4 it rude to lie down while he satand had to look down. "Well, I am Aspenleaf. Nice to meet type as well Tigerstep." She smiled. "Might I ask what clan you are from? I have not seen you around before I'm afraid."

Hearthflame on the other hand was looking for one tom in particular. He wasn't sure if he had actually befriended the other nor did he know if the tom would even want him around like when they first met. But Hearthflame would still like to see him. Well, if he could find Weaselpaw that is. And so he joined the crowd, hoping to find him somewhere.

It was Nettlefoot who turned her gaze on the approaching group of Cats first. She eyed the three, normally kind eyes gazing hard in calculation. But then she smiled charmingly, notifying her sister that all was good. "I believe it does." "Yes Nettlefoot. And what luck is it that such a great evil managed to recognize such lowly shadows as us." The sister chuckled before smiling kindly, real ones and not the jokes they put on. "I'm Thistlethorn." "And Nettlefoot here."

Cinderblaze looked up as she managed to scent a cat that was all too familiar, even in this crowd of others. She smiled and got to her paws as she spotted Claywhistle meeting him halfway before giving him a quick nuzzle. "Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" She purred before looking past him to see Asptail and Barkknot. She smiled at the two, eyes lingering on the Medicine cat for a moment longer before she waved them hello. "How are you all?"

Getting bored, the pretty female hauled herself to her paws to approach the first cat to pass by her. "Hello!" She greeted him with a warm smile, "I'm Oatstar, Leader of Asterclan. Who might you be?"

"So, how are things going in Echoclan?" Sheepclaw asked curiously. "I'm kind of new to this whole clan thing; I've been a loner most of my life." She admitted, sheepishly.

"Really?" A natural smile formed on Pinefur's face. "It happens to be my first gathering as well." He paused, before adding, "I'm Pinefur, by the way. I'm from Asterclan... Thicketclan, huh? So, what's your clan like?" He asked, trying to get her to open up more.

stonestar nodded at chesnutstar. "hello, chesnutstar. how is your clan going?" the tom asked.

hawkfeather sighed as stonestar walked away. overwhelmed by all the cats, he went to a corner, hoping a cat would come to talk to him.

cherryseed and riversong stuck together, politely greeting everyone. the she-cats arrived at the medicine group, and cherryseed mewed a simply greeting. "good evening to you all. i am cherryseed, medicine cat of brookclan, and this is my apprentice riversong."

sandheart looked around for someone to talk to, quietly walking through the crowd of cats.

firestorm sat down in a corner with silvermist, his gaze meadering though the clearing. "there's so many cats..." the warrior thought.

as much as dustleap disliked it, the tom knew it was a good idea to stick around with cats he knew. even if that meant having owlflight come along. gingersplash was also there, an impressed look on her face. "i didn't know there was that many clans..." the she-cat meowed.

Attending: Troutstar, Silverwing, Deerstep, Acornpounce, Nutpaw, Tumbleflight, Smokepaw, Cloud-dapple, Iceberry, and Littleglow

Littleglow's gaze caught Ravenflower's. "Ravenflower!" he meowed exactly. He went to lick her cheek, but stopped, realizing they were in public. "Sorry I haven't seen you recently, we've kinda been struggling to find prey, so I've been on hunting patrol after hunting patrol." He realized he probably shouldn't have told another Clan that, even though they were allies. But it was okay - he trusted Ravenflower. She would never take advantage of their Clan.

Nutpaw continued to lurk, but finally decided to try to test out the other Clans. She wanted to know their weaknesses, and she certainly wouldn't learn them by hiding in the corner. "Hey," she meowed as she walked up to an apprentice from another Clan, using an upbeat meow for the first time in...well, pretty much forever. "I'm Nutpaw," she introduced herself. [ Talking to Nutpaw. ]

As it was her first Gathering, Emberstar felt rather awkward and uneasy with all the other strange cats around. She tried to make herself look somewhat presentable, but most cats could probably notice her eyes glancing nervously around the clearing. She cautiously made her way toward where the other leaders were gathered and stood a bit away from them, unable to muster a hello.

Ashenclaw--- tagged: open
Though happy for her, Ashenclaw was sad to see Willowcloud go. He looked around for someone to approach, but it seemed like almost everyone knew everybody else and were all talking to each other. He didn't want to intrude on anything, and so he remained at the edge of the clearing, sighing as he watched the cats.

Willowcloud--- tagged: medicine cats
"Well..." the young medicine cat mewed, "I guess I'll head over there." She gave Ashenclaw a small smile. "Wish me luck," she said with a slight chuckle before nervously stepping through the crowd toward the medicine cats. Some were speaking to each other, some weren't. Suddenly she was frightened, not one to initiate a conversation, so she mumbled a quiet "Hello..." while looking down awkwardly at her paws.

Patchthorn--- tagged: sleetfoot
Patchthorn turned abruptly at the sound of a cat speaking close by. The cat wore a wide grin, immediately making the LeafClan warrior's whiskers twitch in slight amusement. I bet he's going to scare everybody away with that smile. Wait, he's not talking to me, is he?.. Mouse-dung.... "Uh, hello..." he grunted. "Patchthorn, LeafClan."

Maplestar's expression gave nothing away. Her eyes were set in steel, despite her fear, and she watched each of the leaders carefully. She observed their movements and expressions, wondering whose clan would be the most strongest together with hers. She softly stared at the new leader, whom she could sense an aura of uncomfort and hesitation. She sneered.

She made eye contact with one of the leaders again, and they fiercely held it, until she broke it by looking towards the trees. She was surprised to find a pale cat, sitting down. She gave him a passive glance, before returning her attention back to the other leaders.

"Aspenleaf." He said, tasting the words on his tongue. "I like your name." he muttered, hopefully too quiet for her to hear. His ears perked up when he heard the question. "I come from Petalclan, this is my first ever gathering, as both a cat and deputy." he meowed proudly. "May I ask the same for you?" he tilted his head in curiosity.

Echosong flicked her tail, before walking off silently near the trees. She had seen Maplestar, but she was with the leaders of the other clans, and it would simply be so rude to interrupt. She sat near the trees, in a small hole in the ground. She lay down and gazed up at the stars.
