It might have been jealously clouding his judgement, but Rowanpelt couldn't help but feel as if the JinxClan tom was taunting him, the deputy narrowed his eyes and did nothing to hide his disapproving frown this time as Yinpelt smiled wider. He wasn't a violent cat by any means, Rowanpelt liked to take a kinder approach towards life and tried to be as nice as he could be with others, but at the moment he wouldn't mind if he clawed that grin off of Yinpelt's face. "Good names..." He meowed, his annoyance clearly showing through his tone. "Not so sure about 'Dirt' though, I'd feel bad for the kit to be named after his - father's - personality." He felt like he swallowed crowfood as he forced out the word 'father', not to mention he also felt like clawing himself over his impulsive words.

Ratpaw felt a little out of place as he followed Juniperpaw and Acornpaw to where the other apprentices were, he was a lot older then the typical apprentice was supposed to be, fifteen moons was an age that young warriors were supposed to be - not apprentices. The black tom sighed and resigned to looking around, shuffling his paws awkwardly as he tried to find something to do.

Mintstar lead her Clan into the hollow, the PineClan leader had newfound confidence in attending the Gathering this time around, and she strode towards where the other leaders had gathered before seating herself underneath the great rock with her tail curled over her paws.

The she-cat sniffled loudly but managed a wane smile at Dapplewish and, eventually, a rather large one at Tux. The tail touches were comforting and the tom's brush of fur was enough to send confusing tingles up her spine. "Thanks. I better much feel with you here." Giving a sheepish grin at the failure of her tongue, she leaned in against Tux, whom her comment was mainly directed at. Her mind went blank and the plan to find her family vanished with a sigh.

"Echoclan is doing quite well. One of our warriors is sick, but other than that Echoclan is great." Squirrelstar mewed. "Is Sedgeclan doing well?"

"Hi Jinxstar! I'm doing fine tonight, what about you?"

"Prey is running great, and we are growing faster then we could have wished for." Jinxstar said simply as he looked out at the rest of the cats in the gathering clearing.

Willowbolt was about to approach Rowanpelt, but then saw that Yinpelt was approaching him instead. She was very worried about this, but did not interfere.

Yinpelt's smile immediately turned to a very aggressive frown. His eyes blazed threateningly as he looked down his nose at Rowanpelt.

"Yes, it would be a harsh shame if the kits were anything like their father." He said in a threatening tone.

Yinpelt got up and stalked past Rowanpelt, snarling and hissing in his ear as he passed, "At least, their real father, anyway. Taitor!"

Yinpelt gave him a knowing stare as he stalked away, "Oh, and I will make very sure that Velvetrabbit it well taken care of."

Yinpelt stalked away from Rowanpelt, figuring that his last statements would show that he knew about the truth behind Velvetrabbit's litter.

"I'm Wildpoppy of Echoclan." The bob tail she-cat purred, batting her eyes at Tux. Wildpoppy felt eyes burning into her back so she looked briefly over her shoulder to see Smokespeck watching her disapprovingly. The she-cat turned away from her father to return her attention Tux, Dapplewish and Dandelionbloom.

Wildpoppy frowned at Dandelionbloom's seemingly pushy nature. "We can all help look."

"Yeah, I'll help!" Dapplewish says, tearing her gaze away from th handsome tom. "Who are we looking for?"

Dapplewish immediately cottons on to the molly's distress and immediately puts her tail on her shoulders. "I'm sure we'll find them," she assures her.

foggypaw bounded over to two other apprentices with whitepaw following on his tail. "hello! im foggypaw and this is whitepaw" foggypaw said flicking his tail towards whitepaw "we come from sedgeclan".[/size][/center]

"cool! hows it like in echoclan?" foggypaw asked gorsepaw, icepaw and sparkpaw. whitepaw nodded his head.

"Echoclan is alright. Not much has happened in the past few moons." Gorsepaw mewed. Sparkpaw settled back on her haunches, licking her paw and drawing it over her ears. "Sparkpaw's father came and joined Echoclan, that's about it. What about your Clans?" She mewed to the rival apprentices.

"It is good, prey is running great." Firepaw said as she sidled a bit closer to her brother.

"Familiar?" Dandelionbloom, who had simply been trailing after the tom in a love-struck daze, gave him a blank look. She had been preoccupied in the way the wind ruffled his fur and his eyes seemed to shine whenever he looked at her (or annoyingly so, whenever he looked at Wildpoppy or Dapplewish) and hadn't understood his words past the melodious tone to them. What had they been doing again? Oh right- her family yeah? "No." She didn't even look around. "But that matter doesn't. They'll be alright without me, and I better feel with you already."

Rowanpelt felt like there was ice in his veins, his breath hitched as Yinpelt snarled in his ear before stalking away, and the deputy growled under his breath over being called a traitor by this fox-heart who didn't even know him. He quickly caught up to the JinxClan cat, determined not to let him walk away without saying something. "Listen here you, if I find out that you've harmed a hair on Velvetrabbit or our kits' pelts, I will make you regret it." He threatened once he stood right next to Yinpelt, snarling in his ear the same way he had done to him with his teeth were bared in a snarl and his normally kind yellow eyes lit in an angry fire before he turned his back on him and stalked towards where the other deputies were sitting.

Juniperpaw lazily licked his fore paw and drew it over his ear as he watched the other apprentices converse with each other, he wasn't really paying attention to what anyone was saying, nothing of note seemed interesting enough to him.

Smokespeck sat at the bottom of the leader's rock where the deputy's usually gathered. His usually bright silver and black spotted pelt was dull and unkempt. His bright gaze was glazed over.

"I-I think so." Brindlecloud stuttered. "I'm still learning on how to check she-cat's for pregnancy, Mossvine has been helping me with checking the new queens but I'm still not sure..."

Wildpoppy snorted slightly at Dandelionbloom when she so easily abandoned the idea of finding her family, but decided not to make a snarky remark like she normally would. The calico settled down next to Tux, leaning into his shoulder. "What's Jinxclan like?"

Gorsepaw nodded happily. "That's good." She mewed to Firepaw and Windpaw.

Icepaw looked over at Ivypaw as she came up to their group. "Hey." He mewed, his fur ruffling up against the cold. "I'm Icepaw of Echoclan, this is my sister Gorsepaw and that's Sparkpaw."

Moorclan - Fritillarystar talking to Mintstar -
Justice will come on swift wings

She'd not wanted to come at all, but Nightclaw had insisted that she go. The cunning queen had said that it was Starclan's law to go to a gathering whenever the moon was full. She'd also said that she could protect herself, but Fritillarystar had her doubts. Nevertheless, she was here now and there was no turning back unless she wanted to seem a coward. She'd have to get some allies and hopefully zero enemies, as well as tell them Sagestar's news. That was her duty for tonight, or at least that was what Nightclaw had said.

Gritting her teeth and holding her head high, Fritillarystar strode with the determination of a powerful warrior towards the looming rock. Cats of all shapes and sizes clambered all over it, their eyes shining in the moonlight. Claws scraping the flinty surface, Fritillarystar wordlessly made it to the top. Her mouth felt dry and she was all too anxious. The crowd of murmuring cats below was impressive, but not one of them was Moorclan; But some of them had to be Tumbleclan? Sagestar had said that some had managed to escape but which ones were they?

Searching the ranks for Tumbleclanners, Fritillarystar sighed loudly in frustration. She could not know what a Tumbleclan warrior looked like! They were all the same to her, one loud quivering mass of fur. Turning to the conversing leaders nearby, Fritillarystar spyed a lonesome one. An ally, perhaps?

The was frowning, and looking insulted, even though his eyes glimmered maliciously. He turned on his heel and walked away with his head and tail held high.

There are so many kits and families in the clan. I just kind of wish I could have my own." He said kind of wistfully, "How is Echoclan?"

tawnystar looked at the cats on the high-rock, then took a double take. there was a cat she hadn't ever seen before, so she walked up to her. "greetings. i am tawnystar of blueclan."

foxfoot walked towards the deputies, his head high. after talking with snowpaw, he was finally excited for his sister. finding a mate was a joyous occasion, after all.

gingerstorm and stonefur were sitting together, just like last time. they chatted a bit, but both felt awkward and hoped someone would come rescue them from the other.

shadefang was just watching, his cool yellow eyes taking everything in. he wasn't sure how to act at these things, but he was still going to try and make tawnystar proud.

Mintstar was busy and had not heard her. Sighing, Fritillarystar turned around to spot a tabby leader greeting her. Flicking her ear nervously, Fritillarystar dipped her head in respect, reminiscent of Tumbleclan's method of greetings. ''Greetings to you, Tawnystar.'' The tortoiseshell replied. ''I am Fritillarystar...'' She did not dare finish that sentence, uncertain if she should name her clan. She was paranoid but she wasn't stupid. Swallowing her fear, Fritillarystar started over. ''I'm Fritillarystar, leader of Moorclan.'' Curling her black and ginger tail around her white paws, she looked around the gathering. ''Do you mind if I ask about your clan, Tawnystar?''
