Plot1~

♪♫♪♫♪♫When the time comes that you want to end your life, you'll have no doubt written a suicide note. Take the note and a pair of scissors, and cut away at it until you get somethign that resembles a key. Take the key, and go to a door. Any door will do. Now, push the key forwards as if into an invisible lock, and turn the key. The lock is real. Now, open the door and enter into the new world you have found. But be warned; this world is far different to our own...
And yet, nobody seems to listen. Nobody understands just how different this other world is. And when they find out...? Well, not everyone is best pleased wth the discovery...
But all the residents are bound here to this earth, by an inivisible force that keeps them stuch there, no way of escaping.
Those monsters you see in your nightmares? They're real, too. Not in your world, but here in ours. They all exist, and it's you that brings them here, into this town known only as 'X'. The signposts which mark the town are scratched out and blood splattered. They are far too messed up to even read.
And yet, the most feared thing of all here is not the monsters, not the darkness, not the shadows... but it is infact one of it's residents; a young girl known only as 'Mist'. Mist seldom speaks, and none have ever heard her voice. Some people believe Mist is mute, and others believe that she uses ventriloquism. But there is one thing that we can all agree on... There is something dark and mysterious about Mist, and the puppet she lugs around which is known as Crow.
But what could it be about the girl who communicates through her puppet?
When her shadow is cast across the wall, it is not her shadow at all. Instead it is the shadow of a three headed dark beast. What are those things known as...?

"I am Andrew Ryan, and I'm here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? 'No!' says the man in Washington, 'It belongs to the poor.' 'No!' says the man in the Vatican, 'It belongs to God.' 'No!' says the man in Moscow, 'It belongs to everyone.' I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose...Rapture, a city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, where the great would not be constrained by the small! And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city, as well."

The year is 1960. New ideas are coming to life, some good and some bad. The world is growing, and things are changing...

Rapture. A land of dreams, freedom, and opinions. A glorious city built under the ocean, Rapture is the definition of a utopia. It's sprawling and clean, extremely unique in more ways than one. The founder, Andrew Ryan, developed new technology to improve the underwater city even further. The most well-known of the inventions, known as plasmids, change the genetic make-up of the user. There are many different plasmids, and they're all used for the better.. until now.

Changed by the plasmids they frequently injected, the citizens of Rapture have become zombie-like creatures called Splicers. Some of them are more changed than others. Some are stronger, some are faster. Other genetically modified creatures reside in the fallen utopia as well - Big Sisters, Big Daddies, and Little Sisters to name a few. However, hidden amongst the ruins live humans. They use the plasmids, but have not yet reached Splicer state. Can they survive in this horror realm? Or will they too fall to the tragic fate of a Splicer?

Plot3~

'Attention! The green flu is spreading worldwide. The outcome is so far unknown, but a cure is yet to be found. Refrain all contact with infected individuals. Barricade your homes. Await official instructions. This is CEDA, over and out.'

Great, just what the world needs, another phenomena for some stupid illness. First mad cow disease, then bird flu and swine flu, and now green flu. Whatever will be next?
We could hide fromt he infected, but not from the sickness. Before long it overtook the world... Some were brainless, some were fast, some were acid-spitters, some were strong, so many types, so little hope...

'Attention! A cure has not yet been found. The green flu is mutating them. Please proceed to the designated evacuation areas immeadiately! This is CEDA, over and out.'

But we couldn't escape. We weren't so lucky. We were stuck in this hell-hole zombie apocolypse with no hopes of escaping. But maybe, just mayvbe, if we could make it to New Orleands, we'd be safe...

'Attention! If anyone's still out there, we're working to reach you. Please wait for official instructions. This is CEDA, over and out.'

We waited, but instructions never came.

A couple occasional spelling mistakes, though I usually fix them.
Detailed sentences, usually.

And some semi-lit posts, that are around 5-8 sentences long. {My sentences are generally rather long, by the way}

I do also have my favourite characters, so I'll most likely use the same; Names, pictures, personalities and stuff along those lines, for every RP. Same with the history, generally I prefer to miss history out or postpone to fill it in another time, but I'll fill it in when I have the time. If It's a werewolf role-play however, then I already have the history filled out, because I've been writing a werewolf story, and I take an extract from that to fill in the history..

Okay, so I'm sick of people PMing me about wanting to do a Role Play soooo badly and yet, they don't even reply back to me >.> So, this time I'm having my standards way up. You will be questioned about how often you're online and how often you have to post in order for me to even consider you.

My Personal RP Specifies
- I can play either gender, though sometimes may prefer to play one over the other. For certain genres I'll want to play a male main character, while others I'll want to play female. It all depends really. However, if you are one of the many who only plays female, get out. You obviously are not a developed rper if you "are not good at playing male." If you really weren't good at it, then shouldn't you practice?
- Any pairing works for me; it doesn't really matter, however I'm least often going to want to do MxM. Feel free to ask though.
- I only rp over AIM, MSN, or Yahoo messenger. No exceptions. I've tried rping basically everywhere and dislike everything but messenger. I find that using messengers work best because it allows for the participants to get more from the story since it's a lot more fast-paced.
- I have no limits, however things must be tasteful and not just for the sake of being vulgar.

Rules

1) No God-Moding or Power-Playing - This should be obvious enough, though many people still try. Do NOT ever take control of my character without permission, directly or indirectly. This includes a broad reply of some sort in which you don't allow me to give my character's response/reaction to certain things.

* This does not mean you cannot decide what happens to my character, and same for me with yours. You are allowed to cause my character pain, heartache, happiness, etc. with circumstance (ex: your character can slice mine open or mine can break your character's nose). Things like these do not need permission from the other person, as long as you don't go to far (as in mutilation & killing).

2) No Perfect or Pathetic Characters - Meaning I want depth and realism when it comes to the characters you play, whether or not they are your own OCs or canons from fandoms. Characters should have weaknesses and flaws along with good qualities and skills. No one completely sucks or is brilliant at everything!

Another few things you should avoid when using a character in an rp with me:

- Prostitutes/hookers/whores, anthros/people with animal parts/shape-shifters, characters who are constantly getting hurt/constantly clumsy, insta-healing/super-magical abilities, & way-out-of-the-box characters such as 'mist', monsters, odd creatures. Also, no main character is allowed to be younger than age 18.

*shape-shifting does not include lycans/werewolves as long as the wolf form is more wolf-like than man/anthro-like.

3) Must Be Literate - This does not mean that I am expecting perfection, because we all make mistakes. However, you must have a decent grasp on spelling, grammar, and punctuation. So PLEASE use quotations, commas, periods, etc.

4) Post Length - Length of your replies really doesn't matter to me as long as you give me something to work with. However, constant one-or-two liners is not acceptable. On the flip side, I do not want to read a novel every post, either; this much in one post is unnecessary. As far as an intro goes, a long reply is good, but do NOT tell me your character's life story. I do not want to know things about your character that mine does not know yet!

5) Villains & Antagonists - For a fun rp, these types of characters are essential to add a bit of drama and excitement to the story. However, more often than not, I find myself the one bringing these guys into the picture. To rp with me, you MUST be willing to be bad guys also! You will not be stuck with them all, of course, as I do enjoy playing them (just not all the time!).

* Being a villain does not mean you only go after your own character! Go after mine too! Go after both of them, a town, city, group, etc.

Fandom-Only Rules

6) Must Stay In Character - Though this is pretty self explanatory as well, I feel there is a need to blatantly state it. Do NOT suddenly make a normally strong and confident character wimpy and shy (unless something traumatic within the rp has happened to warrant such a change). This also includes giving characters added family members that they did not originally have, adding some significant happening to their past that effects them now, or anything that changes who the character is at the time your are playing him/her.

7) Playing Just One Is Not Allowed - In a fandom rp, most of the time there will be several characters who will need to be used, whether it be as a main, secondary, or minor (relative to the rp, as we may choose to make actual secondary character be the main ones for us). Because of this, we will both be playing several of them, and may or may not switch out/takes turns with them.

* Main characters may not be swapped back and forth and taken turns with. This also goes for some of the more significant secondary characters who interact often with the main characters.

8) OCs - Original Characters - Do not make characters similar to canons. A few similarities is fine, just don't go copying 90% of someone and sticking it on your character to create a lame duplicate. Also, do not have your OC somehow involved in a main part of the actual plot of where the fandom is coming from. Also, see Rule #2.

::A Little 'Bout Me::

I'm currently a freshman at a technical high school for a Nursing Assistant program. I'm on almost everyday, the only exception is when I go camping with my brother's boy scout troop. I am in the EST time zone, and am usually on till about 10:30 at night, longer on the weekends. I own a horse, so I won't be on for a few hours Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I also stay after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Advanced Band.

::What You Can Expect From Me::

-About 3 sentences to a few paragraphs, depending on my mood or what you give me.
- Good grammar and spelling. I check all of my posts before submitting them.
- Unique characters. I rarely use the same characters for any of my RP's, unless I really like that character and the previous role play has died. I'm weird that way.
- I'll try and reply as quickly as possible.

-A decent 4-6 sentences per character. I know I don't write elaborate responses, but I don't post one-liners unless I have major writers block. What you will give me I will give in return.

Okay, so I'm sick of people PMing me about wanting to do a Role Play soooo badly and yet, they don't even reply back to me >.> So, this time I'm having my standards way up. You will be questioned about how often you're online and how often you have to post in order for me to even consider you.

I figure this is worth a shot at least...

Um. I'm looking for a fairly specific type of one-on-one rp. Thanks to far too much internet wandering I've found myself craving an Inuyasha role play (ah, the nostalgia). More specifically, one centered around Inuyasha and Sesshomaru; I'd prefer to play the former. The potential for violence and other such themes is high, of course.

I'm not a hard-core grammar/spelling nazi, but hope my potential partner can put together a respectable paragraph at the very least. I understand that writer's block and life happens and certainly do not expect to get lightning-fast replies every day. If you get bored, let me know. We can probably work out a way to spice things up.
