Xander wakes up, feeling happy about his dreams and being able to see Catherine today. He gets up excited, feeling some pain from injuries but doesn't care as he carefully washes up and gets dressed for today. After getting dressed he walks around the castle to stretch a bit then goes to get breakfast.

Catherine pulled on another work dress, and tied the apron around her waist. She checked the necklace and smiled lightly before tucking it back beneath her dress. Before she left, she braided her hair and then twisted it into a bun. She buttoned her cape up before she headed out and to the palace. Once she had arrived, she went inside and hung up her cloak were the rest of the help stored their things.

Xander finishes his food quickly then goes to the town real quick to go pick up some flowers. Though sadly taking a little longer than he would like when people go to chat with him and more ladies are interested in him. Once he does get back he goes searching for Catherine.

Catherine glanced around to see if Xander was anywhere in sight but he wasn’t, and she didn’t want to be too obvious that she was looking for him. She puffed a soft sigh, placing the necklace on the outside of her neckline now that she was no longer outside. She walked into the kitchen, figuring she could do dishes for now, as there probably weren’t many that needed to be done.

Xander wonders around the castle but doesn't find Catherine anywhere. Not very good at looking around the castle. He feels a little sad and goes to find a vase and puts the flowers in them and carries the vase to the balcony he normally goes to.

Catherine washes whatever dishes were lying in the sink before trying to decide what to do next. She decided to try and find Xander, even if she should be doing the things she was paid for. She hurried up the steps and peered into his bedroom, but he wasn’t there. She sighed softly before peering out the window that looked onto the balcony. She smiled as she spotted him, and bit her lower lips gently. She glanced around before slipping out onto the balcony “What’re you doing, sitting up here all alone?” she asked, giving him a smile.

Xander turned around to see who was talking and smiles brightly when its Catherine. "Hey, Catherine! I was looking around for you but I couldn't find you at all.. I went to the balcony to search the gardens from up here. But it seems like you found me instead." Xander goes over and hugs her happily. "I also had went to town to get you flowers, like I said I would of." After the hug he points towards the vase of roses.

Catherine smiled and shrugged “I was washing dishes in the kitchen,” she explained as she hugged him back. She looked at the flowers when he pointed and smiled brightly, she went over and smelled the flowers “Thank you, they’re beautiful.” she said as she turned back around to look at him. She walked closer to him and delicately touched the necklace “Uh. I don’t know if you talked to your dad yet, but last night he was asking a bunch of questions, and I hid the necklace but he saw the chain and asked to see it. So... I’m very sure that he knows,” she said as she looked up at him, fiddling with her fingers once more.

Xander listens to her and nods. "If he saw the necklace then he must know then. I havent gotten to talk to him yet.. Did he look worried or angry?" Xander looks at Catherine worried, not wanting her to be in trouble or anything worse.

Catherine shook her head, recalling what had happened during the conversation they had. “At first he asked if there was anything happening between us and I told him no because I didn’t want to be the one to tell him because I figured you wanted to,” she started, looking up at him once more. “And he said that we would be cute together if we were together... and then we got off the subject, and then he saw the necklace.” she finished, a smile had blossomed on her face when she recalled the king calling them cute.
