As they got closer to the middle, it did effect her, make her power stronger. But something was...off. Maybe it was because this was just a dream, not real. Mani had never encountered anything like this before. What was the moons purpose here? Was there something different about it.

[hypnowave]

Castor watched as Mani underwent changes, but the moon didn't shy away. Even though he was getting closer the moon didn't move. Maybe once they reached the center, it wouldn't move still, because of this dream?

[-le gasp- is that the purpose of this moon? |D]

Mani then glanced up, at the moon. It wasn't moving, it was in place, it was still, and she frowned. Something's not right. Whats wrong with it, why isn't it moving? Maybe it was just the fact it was a dream...that'd have to be it, right?

Castor looked up as they neared the center of the lake. The moon didn't move, but he could see and even feel Mani's power grow. He knew something was happening. He didn't know how. The moon stayed put, and he finally reached the center... he anticipated Mani's moon form, he didn't know how, but he knew it would happen.

Mani flicked an ear - the glow got brighter, but not as bright as it should - not eye blinding. They were now in the middle of the lake, and she glanced at Castor. "Something doesn't feel right..."

[hypnowave]

"No?" Castor inquired. Then he took another glance at her, and he knew she was right. He felt a lack, a strange loss, although he couldn't put his finger on it. Whatever it was, it was on the tip of his tongue. He just couldn't say what it was.

[ ooh... what is it? ]

[wolf ;;]

[well, because she is the only one that can move the moon, the only way a new wolf can be born with this power is if she dies - and the wolves that move and sun and moon cannot abandon their destinies - so basically, what happens if one of them does, is that the world basically starts to fall apart and stuff, and no matter what she'll have to get that power back somehow but it'll be different to what it was before...it might sound confusing |D
losing their power also causes them a lot of pain, while losing it and every night/day, depending if they are the sun or moon.]

Mani blinked her eyes and shook her head. "No...somethings missing." She said quietly. "Its a full moon...but it should be brighter - my form, its not as bright as it should be." She said again, and now she knew something was wrong.

Castor looked at the moon, and then back to Mani. They were directly under the silver disc of light, yet something was wrong. What was he to do?

[oooh, that sounds pretty neat cx]

Mani's ears went back as she stared at the moon. Then, all of a sudden, her glow just...faded. Slowly, but it just went away,m like it was never there. As soon as the last bit faded, she felt pain - and a lot of it.

Castor watched as Mani's light dimmed. It worried him, how her light dissipated, slowly losing itself into the air. Then he watched on as she began to cringe, and worry washed over him. "Mani!" he gasped.
