"I'll be fine." Ferondir said. "I just have a bit of amnesia from the teleport. I've always been bad at teleports. I know I'm supposed to know you, but I don't. Not right now. A good hundred year sleep should fix the problem." He shrugged and turned back to Shia. "I guess I'll have a look too." He snagged the book from her hands and found the most recently opened page. That's the good thing about old books; they start to remember what's been read. Ferondir read the page twice over, but no agonizing headache, no explosion of new memory. At least he knew about the others a little now. He went to turn the page.

Shia made an alarmed sound. "No! I... I think you've read enough. Can I have it back?" She looked rather embarrassed. Zeph, I will murder you in your sleep if you say anything. Not literally, but still...

Ferondir nearly dropped the book when Shia spoke. "Sorry," he shut it and handed it to her, felling a little ashamed. He shouldn't have accepted it in the first place. "What do you know of me?" he asked. He needed to know who he was. He needed proof of himself.

Well, for her case, She's known you about 2 days. Zeph said, interjecting.
As for me- Zeph said, nodding slightly.
Close friend- Known you your whole life- He started, when an idea struck him.
- My name's Zeph, since I wouldn't assume you'd remember... you know, with the whole... He paused, making a gesture towards his brain.
- Anyways, as mentioned, I'm a childhood friend- and as a matter of fact, so is she. Zeph pointed towards Cassie.
I'm the, uh... overly-sympathetic and sentimental best-friend.
Yeah, that works. Lets go with that.
His memory will be restored, anyways.
Now, just real quick- could you uh, do mean a favor? He said curiously, as he began to reach for the amulet that hung around his neck.

Shia immediately felt bad. "No... I didn't mean it like that. I'm sorry. There're just some things in there that I'd rather you didn't see." She was glad when Zeph started talking, but some of what he said confused her. Overly sympathetic and sentimental? I don't think he's being honest... She didn't say anything. A favor? I wonder what he'll ask...

"So that's who you are?" Ferondir asked. "Okay." He looked over at the girl Zeph motioned to. Nothing. Not even the vaguest recognition. "I don't know her."
He saw the amulet. There was something very important about it. Something that was just out of reach. "What's that?" he asked.

Shia felt like she was intruding on something. "I'm going to... Go. Yeah. Seeya." She walked away awkwardly. Wow, I'm just fantastic at that. The tavern itself seemed like a good place to get away from her friends' conversation. She entered the building, and went over to Ravoo. "Hey, friend. Anything happening in here?" I'm glad Ravoo doesn't get mixed up in all the awkward situations and stuff.

Day -36,493 (Late Afternoon)/Ravoo/-57/Where: Tavern, Castle Town (Past)/With: Shia and Phil

Ravoo looked over at Shia, who had just sat down next to him. He had a few sausages in his mouth and a rather large platter in front of him on the bar with a few dozen more.
"No much happen here, young Jakub still at woman, and me eat good sausages!" he said to Shia as he chewed the sausages in his mouth.
Shia looks woebegone, perhaps a few of my sausages will brighten her spirits? he thought to himself as he tossed a few sausages at Shia. Unluckily for Ravoo, he wasn't paying attention and threw them directly at her face!

Good, I don't need any more action... The sausages flew toward her. Shia lifted her arms in an attempt to protect her face. She jumped up and tried to move away fom the barrage of meat that was colliding with her head, but tripped over her chair. Time seemed to stop for a moment. On the ground, covered in sausages, Shia stared in shock for a second. Way to go. That was real inconspicuous. I must look ridiculous, sitting on the floor with meat all over me. A mental image of the situation appeared in her mind, and she began to laugh uncontrollably.

Day -36,493 (Late Afternoon)/Ravoo/-57/Where: Tavern, Castle Town (Past)/With: Shia and Phil

Ravoo, still shocked at what just happened, helped Shia back up and began to pick up sausages. Even though I messed up, it appears that the sausages still managed to bring joy to her...
Phil the Tavern keeper interrupted Ravoo's train of thought; "Please sir, let me take care of this! Sit back down and enjoy the rest of your sausages!"
Ravoo sat back down and looked over at young Jakub and the woman he was with. They were laughing uncontrollably at what just happened. Young Jakub's sword had fallen and gotten kicked under his bench in the midst of his laughter.
"Look at sword," Ravoo whispered to Shia.
