"Yeah id love too. Is that your brother?" She asked but got cut off to someone saying her name. "Oh hey Steven." She said blandly and put her hand on her forehead

"Hey Cope and dudes name i dont remember" tossing Brice aside "Copeland i know we are just friends and everything but why exactly are you with him? No offense bro but i have had a thing for her longer than youve known her so its first come first serve." He said as he sat next to Copeland and pulled her closer

Brice just sort of stared and blinked at Steven as he spoke. He wasn't exactly sure just how to respond to the amount of crap this guy was spewing. He squinted his eyes at Steven when he pulled her close. "Yeah... That explanation just made your reason for not having her more pathetic. Let her go." He used a leg to pull her chair back toward him.

Copeland should have been in heaven with too incedibley attractive guys fighting over her but she wasnt. She moved closer tp Brice "Steven, you and i are just friends. We will never be nothing more." She said slowly and clearly

He just ignored her and rolled his eyes "What does he have that i dont? Im in college, i have a job and im an amazing guy! Why does he-" he said looking Brice up and down with a disgusted look on his face "... Get the princess that should have been mine?" He asked and looked at her with puppy-dog eyes

Brice's brows furrowed in annoyance, but after a moment, he took a couple of breaths to calm himself. He then cleared his throat and leaned down by her ear. "Do I need to give you two some time? 'Cause I'm willing to step away..."

Copeland nodded "Im sorry about him. I have no feelings for him what so ever i promise." She whispered to him then kissed his cheek. "Look Steven. We hung out once and you cant call walking around the shopping center a date. Yes we work together and we see each other everyday and all but i only think of you as a friend. I like Brice and he is kinda amazing. I could help you find someone if you want..." She offered and put her hand on his.

Steven pulled his hand away and sighed "Copeland... I will always wait on you." He said softly. He pecked her lips and frowned when she pulled away. "See you tomorrow." He mumbled, got up and walked away.

Copeland sighed and wiped her lips "Gross" she mumbled

Brice's neck and face tinted red when Steven kissed her, his hand gripping the arm of the chair. He didn't really feel angry, but perhaps it was a bit of anger mixed with jealousy. He caught himself though and quickly relaxed. He straightened in his seat and cleared his throat. "We should find the others and get out of here." He suggested. "...I do have a curious question, though..." He said as he stood.

Copeland stood and nodded "Ask away." She said and straightened her skirt out. She looked around the food court and Steven was already gone. "Who is James?" She asked remembering he said something about someone she had to meet. Copeland could have sworn he was an only child but maybe he wasnt there when she met his parents

"James is my boa." He answered quickly. "Anyway," he waved a hand to shoo off the conversation. "...Why not him? He was there before I was even in the picture. I mean, I'm not complaining, I'm just...curious." He took her hand as they walked.

"Because he is a jerk and not my type. I dont like really buff guys. I like what i have now." She said and kissed his knuckles softly. "I didnt know you had a snake, thats pretty cool" she looked around for her sister getting on her tippie toes slightly

"I see..." Brice nodded at her explanation and smiled when she kissed his hand. 'Wow...I'm gonna devour her when we get to my place.' He chuckled. "Yeah, I love that little guy, but my mom hates him." He shrugged. "She'll get over it. ...Didn't your sister say she was going to find clothes? What's her favorite store? She'll probably be there..."
