[OOC: Haha no problem, I'm just enjoying the long, filling posts of a literate RP xD I never manage to find any, at least not that interest me.]

Nanook looked at the female for a long moment, thinking, then sighed. "Well nobody took the time for me, did they?" He flicked his tail and his eyes narrowed slightly as he added coldly, "And it's too late to do anything about it." Nanook didn't say it, but his tone of voice in that last sentence did: "end of story". He turned his back on her and started walking back towards the border. He stopped after a few steps and said, without bothering to look back or even turn his head, "My name is Nanook. And I'd prefer if that wasn't public information, if you get what I mean." He waited a moment, then continued on with a bit quicker pace than before.

”The Defiant”

Phoenix hadn't expected the male to just drop down some food. He seemed much too indecent for that. Now, she was curious. She lowered her head, digging her Long sharp teeth into the carcass. Her hunger deminishing with every mouthful of the tender meat. After a few Minutes of ravenous eating, Phoenix raised her head up to look up at the brute whom had now moved a few branches away.

With a blood stained face, she called up to him,”thanks.”

Phoenix was never one for manners-especially when the male had been nothing but indecdent. But she saw it necessary- saved her from a few hours of hunting and filled her moaning stumach. The female was quite unsure where to go now or what to do. She wasn't exactly from around these parts and she was still pretty Young to be wandering around on her home. Phoenix was orphaned at a extremely Young age, forcing her to learn quick how to be independent. [/list]

Aiko slightly sighed, feeling a bit upset that Nanook wouldn't take the time to relearn about love, let alone take the time to say much of anything or wanted nothing to do with her anymore. She had a slight feeling though, she bounded ahead to walk with him, staying quiet. She watched him from the corner of her eyes and wondered what about why his brother would do such a harsh thing in the beginning. She did, however, understand the way Nanook closed his heart off to everyone. He didn't want to feel the hurt of betrayal again. She silently pondered her thoughts as she silently walked along with Nanook.

Omen slightly snorted a remark to her,"No problem." and sat on a tree branch away from the young female. He didn't care whether or not if she had thanked him, he just had no use of the deer carcass and just didn't want it to rot and have another predator go after it so he willingly gave it to the female because her stomach growling only annoyed him even more. As he sat on the tree branch, he slightly narrowed his eyes and saw that another younger Antlered Guardian was talking to Alik, and he sneered slightly. He cannot seem to get enough of that pride, can he? he thought to himself, knowing that his plan was going to take place soon enough whether Alik knew it or not.

Nanook sighed as Aiko came into step beside him, but said nothing and provided only a flick of his ears to show he noticed her there. She was quiet though, so Nanook permitted her to walk beside him, at least for the moment. After a long minute, or perhaps two, he asked, "What is this, an escort? Trust me, I'm going back to my own territory. I have no need to steal your pride's prey." His words weren't angry, rather in more of a flat tone.

Aiko stayed silent for a few moments more before answering Nanook. "No, not an escort. I know you won't take our prey, but I was just thinking, n-not that I trust you or anything.." she stuttered slightly as she looked away, keeping in step with him. She kept looking away from Nanook but kept up with his pace. "So.." said said, unable to think of anything to say so she fell silent, not knowing his Nanook wanted to talk or not.

A growl rose up within her throat, unable to hold herself back now from snapping angrily at the brute. "What the h*ll is your problem buddy. Think your so high and mighty do you?" Her eyes digging into him like daggers. "You should learn how to treat a lady instead of mocking every thing she does. No wonder you're a loner. No one in their right minds would want to be anywhere near the likes of you." she finished, before snorting at him in displeasure, and began making her way towards the commotion fearlessly. She could hardly care what they thought of her or what they did, she just wanted to be as far away from that male as possible. And fast.

Omen completely tensed from what the female had said, his eyes suddenly glowing brightly with anger. Omen jumped down from his spot and landed right in front of the female and snarle in her face. "How DARE you speak to me like that. You have no idea who you are talking to! he said angrily, his tattoos glowing and is power growing. "I am a Loner by mere choice. And I will NOT tell you why I did so, YOU need to learn YOUR PLACE FAST." he said the last words loudly in a snarl, baring his fangs at the female, showing her his anger ten fold. His muscles rippled and his spirits around him shook with fear. "M-master.. P-please calm down.." one of the spirits said and Omen only growled more, the hackles on the back of his shoulder blades and along his back rising with his anger. He bored his glowing eyes into the female with such hatred that he was about to put the female in her rightful place.

"Just thinking you don't trust me? Pfft. Sounds like an excuse to me. If you didn't trust me, then why would you follow me so far away from your pride, where I could turn and kill you the moment it struck my fancy?" he asked. With his anger faded, he could think clearly again, ideas racing through his mind and twisting together, separating again...Nanook's mind was his playground. It kept him sane and alive in a harsh loner's life. He was good at fighting, but thinking was where he truly shone. And it was how he picked out this little fact, that clearly Aiko was just making up excuses.

"The Defiant"

The female spun around as quickly as her body would allow. Her hackles now raised up on end, teeth bared and flashing their brilliant and radiant white. Her eyes narrowed coldly, and locked onto his. It wasn't his demeanor or the way he spoke that put Phoenix on edge. No, it was the glowing makings that swiftly caught her attention. In her few years of life, the female had never met an AGD with such a gift- and yet, his glowing display merely irritated her further. " LEARN MY PLACE?" Her voice rising indignantly. "YOU should learn your place and some manners while your at it OLD MAN." She hissed, eyes blazing, the words falling from her tongue like poison.

"How DARE you, to be so indecent towards me. You have NO IDEA who I am, or where I hail from. So I best warn you to back off and leave me on my merry way." She finished, heart thudding in her chest and her temper quickly flared out of control. It was taking every ounce of her being not to lunge at him and do the very thing she knew how to do best. Kill.

Omen snapped his jaws at the female who was so annoying and infuriating. He lowered his head into her face, his power pushing off onto her. "Again, I saw how dare you. Speaking to a Shaman like that is one way to make many enemies, young one. If you do not learn your place soon you will most certainly not survive another day on this planet. Do I make my self clear?" Omen said in a low poisonous tone, voice full of venom and threat. He stood over the female, making her cringe down. "You have no idea of the hard lesson's I've gone through, the betrayal of a pride, the hurt of life.. Not being able to die!" Omen snarled loudly at her, baring his fangs, growing even more angry by the minute.

Aiko slightly looked at Nanook but stayed silent for a few moments to contemplate. "What if I were to tell you that I could protect myself?" she said slightly, carefully, but full of play and tease. Though it was true that she could protect herself, she was wondering why Nanook was putting up with her in the first place since he seemed to have a lot of hatred towards others and like he could snap anyone in half if he wanted to, so why was he being slightly 'nice' to her then. She slightly looked at Nanook again with a pondering look.
