"What do you remember of me, Ferondir?" Shia suddenly asked. She was trying to divert the path her mind was taking.
"I remember you hanging upside down in that tree, your hat fell off. I remember how comfortable you felt there, in Mira village."
He closed his eyes and thought a moment, allowing her to guide him as they followed the goron.
"I remember bits and pieces. Our fight against those goblins. That's when I decided you were my friend."
He opened his eyes and looked up at the castle.
"I remember when you decided to save the life of that mouse."
He looked at her.
"Other then those vivid pieces... I just have vague notions. Like how I knew I could ask you what was happening, or how I know you're one of the few people I've chosen to trust."
He pulled his hand away, and touched it with his hook.
"I remember that your aura is different from most, absorbing instead of reflecting."
He let her take his hand again.
"I don't remember why, but that's part of the reason I came to trust you. It was familiar."

Della Collern/13/Colorblind/Where: Castle Town IN THE PAST/With: Guzore

"I've been making potions for years and the only reason I can't do it right is because of a stupid disability!" She growled, crossing her arms and looking away from Guzore. At the promise of learning a secret however, she looked back at him. "Sure. What's your secret?" She asked, seeming to lighten up a little.

Ravoo laid on the ground. Luckily, his fur had cushioned his fall but the impact still left him out of breath. He looked over and saw Zeph and Cassie engaging in what looked to be flirtatiouos activities... Then he heard Cassie say his name.
"Me is fine, me is just rest," he said. At the same time, he got back up on his feet and shook the leaves and twigs out of his fur. Also, he ripped off the strange fruit that had managed to get impaled on his antlers during his fall. "Always getting stuff impaled on me antlers," he muttered under his breath. The strange blue fruit was in the shape of a rose hip and about the size of a basketball. "What is this Zeth?" he asked, as he handed the fruit to Zephyrus.

Shia smiled. "You're one of the few people I've decided to trust, too." She looked away, releasing his hand. "We probably shouldn't do that in front of everyone. They might... Get the wrong idea." She glanced in the direction she'd seen Guzore go.

"Alright." The awkwardness that Shia was feeling completely missed Ferondir, who examined his hook with apparent interest. "It's funny how you can just forget about a bit of metal sticking out of your arm."

Day -36,493 (Morning)/Guzore/20/Where: Castle Town (Past)/With: Della

Disability? Guzore wasn't aware of Della having one, and she didn't appear to have any mental issues. Judging by how she remarked it affecting her ability to make potions, he guessed it might be related to her senses. He regained his train of thought (for once) and answered Della.
When I was a young Goron, I was actually pretty shy. I didn't talk to very many other Gorons, but I really wanted to play games with them. Every time I tried though, I got nervous and went to read a book by myself or something.
Guzore put his hand on his chin as he remembered his youth.
I kept on trying to get my self out there though, and over time, I gradually became better at talking to the other Gorons. I tried telling jokes to start conversations, and it didn't always go that well, but I eventually became really good at making friends.
He pointed at the potion that Zeph had given Della, which was sticking out of her bag.
I bet that if you practice and give it your best shot, you'll get better at making potions too. You'll never know if you don't try, am I right? Hohoho!!

Shia laughed uncomfortably. "Yeah... I can't relate to that one." I'm glad you're feeling better, friend. "Hey, wanna know something I haven't told anyone?" Her eyes suddenly widened. "Nothing weird or anything!"

"If you haven't told anyone, why would you tell me?"
He cocked his head to one side. "Am I good at keeping secrets? I don't remember."

"As far as I know, yes. You probably don't remember... But I trust you more than anyone." Shia looked down. "Anyone alive, anyway..."

"I'll listen then. I just wanted to make sure I was trustworthy first."
He paused. Alive? What happened?
He could see it hurt, whatever memory she was reliving.
"Nayru be with you." he muttered, barely audible.
