[[ Delilah A. Riamu ]]
Setting- The forest
In context to- Cherri
Delilah really couldn't hide that she was terribly confused, but she went along with Cherri either way. The bunny kenomimi friend of hers was always a little more adventurous than she was herself, so she knew the island better than Delilah did. Delilah did remember the forest though. The two of them had played there when they were younger, lots of games of hide and go seek and plenty of tree-climbing. Delilah stood from the couch and took the bowl of Cheetos off of her lap, leaving the blue bowl on the counter. "Sure, why not? After all, we've had some good times before in those woods," she laughed at how the words sounded. Strange, they came out sounding very odd. But either way, she shrugged her shoulders and grabbed her keys off of the counter. Her keyring had her house key and car key as well as a few keychains featuring her library card, a book, and a cat. All of her little passions mixed on one small keychain. There was a blue sort of little photo album too that opened up and showed a picture of Delilah and Cherri together, goofing off. Delilah smiled at the photo as she opened the lasp to the little blue book. She laughed, trying to remember all of the inside jokes created by them on that day. But then, Cherri's words replayed themselves into Delilah mind. "Did you just say he was... hot? Oh my gosh, Cherri! Why didn't you tell me that you dated him once?" she asked, squeeing with mixed emotions. "I can't believe your age range for dating!" she laughed. "Maybe I do need to get out more!" she unlocked the door to her apartment and opened it, letting themselves out into the hall that lead to the stairs that took them to the first floor and the door that would take them outside. She carefully locked the door to her personal apartment behind her and yelled back, "Come on, slowpoke."
[[ Danilo ]]
Setting - The swamp
In context to- Dusty
Danilo looked curiously at the speedy little fox making her way all around the earth. His neck flinched as he watched her move so quickly and gracefully, and he longed to run suddenly. His chance came with the tilt of her neck. Without hestitation, he flung himself into a nice run playing two paws on the ground at a time for a more ground-covering speed. It was a bit hard for him to keep up with a creature a bit smaller than himself, because the little fox was full of agility and ability. He managed to catch up with her, running now at her side. With a sharp turn, he rounded his body, but he bumped slightly into her, their fur mingling. He smiled at her, a bit embarrassed, but his mind was full of wonder. What did she think about his fur touching hers, even ever so slightly? Danilo followed the curious fox, not familiar to this new area as the trees thickened slightly and the ground grew a bit more dry and less marshy. Where was this precise she-fox of few words but much speed planning to take him? He tilted his head up to the air, sniffing around for hints. With his nose, slightly weaker than his companion's, he sensed a mid-aged buck, and he gave her a knowing nod. Of course, this smart 'Dusty' he'd met was looking for a bite to eat.
[[ Dingo ]]
Setting - The peak of a cliff, the sun is rising
In context to- Cookie
Dingo felt like a magnet as he ran along side Cookie. It was as if they were two magnets of the same strength that were pushed together with bonding, but later pushed apart because of the force being equal. His body would touch hers slightly, sending them both speeding up with adrenaline and happiness, and then they'd slow again as their bodies left each other, though they still stayed close to each other, side by side. Dingo missed the sunny outline of Cookie as she soared through the air, but he was much happier to have her running at his side. No longer did he have to hurt and long to be able to dance in the skies with her as she planted her feet on the ground, her strides going in closer to his, trying to comfort him. He fixed a determined look on his face, no longer thinking of the predator, but now thinking of the beauty that ran at his side. He looked to his side at her face, and found that she bore the same dazed but determined expression in her eyes and across her muzzle. His nose twitched as he sniffed, but he could not smell anything around him but the warmth of her body. He'd never known crisis to be so romantic in all of his life, but then again, he'd never had anyone to share crisis with before. Dingo came to a well-planned skidding halt sending the dry earth's crust shooting up from the ground where he'd ended his run. As he widened his nostrils again, he smelled a tangent fear rising off of Cookie, a stale smell of intruder in the camp that the three wolves had shared for nearly a month or two now. Dingo accompanied Cookie as she searched the dens rapidly, but gave her a knowledgable look as he realized the same thing as her - Pookie was not here. Where she could be, he didn't know, but he hoped that what with her being a smart young wolf that she'd fought hard or taken cover somewhere to hide. "I know," he said, pressing his neck into hers. "But it's okay," he said. "She's smart. But we must go find her." He comforted her as he felt his own beating heart rising to his neck and lowering to his stomach. He waited, ready to run again once she'd caught her breath. They were going to find Pookie.
[[ Faith ]]
Setting - The forest on a cold day
In context to - Azure
Faith stared at the excitable wolf that stood before her. His pelt was covered in a blanket of drift snow, and she was very thankful that he'd protected much of her own body from it. The snow didn't bother her, for winter was one of her favorite seasons, but the cold seeped into her pelt easily when the snow began to melt on her back. She found snow only embedded between her paws and along the sides of her stomach because of the way that she'd slept. She shook herself once more as Azure flung a few stray piece of snow onto her pelt. "Hey," she laughed, but the wolf seemed to be intent on something else. She let loose a cold bark in response to his eager one and focused on not shivering in the frost of the early morning. She tilted her neck up to the sky, and a snow flake from who knows where landed right on her nose. She smiled, a bit less irritable and a lot more happy in the snowy white of the morning. Faith looked to Azure, ready to hear what they planned to do next.
[[ Maipe ]]
Setting - The beach
In context to - Confetti
Maipe followed the she-wolf, curious as to her actions. He held his breath as she stumbled up the stairs without realizing that he'd stopped breathing and supported her back. He hoped that the wordless dog would not snap at him for trying to help, she seemed as if she was a very independent soul, but he was happy that she felt close enough to him to share the beach with him. No sooner did he allow his lungs to fill with fresh air and push the old air out until the dog made it up the wooden steps of splinters and onto the pier that had little inhabitance today. It was still early, or perhaps it was late, for Maipe couldn't tell the time from the position of the sun in the sky today. But he noticed the sweet treat awaiting the wolves on the wooden boards only a few seconds after Confetti herself had. The orange mush seemed to appear strangely appetizing to his hungry stomach, and Maipe trusted Confetti's taste buds as she lapped some of it up. It bore a strange scent, sweet to his nostrils, fruity, tangy and tropical. He bent over, hunching very close to Confetti and lapped morsels of it up at a time. The she-wolf wished to share the snack with him, but he did not care to be too greedy with the amazing flavor. He felt that Confetti more deserved the well-earned treat after her fantastic running pace and her triumphant journey up the steps. She did well with her footing, but Maipe couldn't help but wonder if she managed it every time that she attempted to climb the steps when she was alone. He also wondered about her diet. She was a healthy size, skinny from her many runs, but she looked as if she must eat something. He wondered if all of her food was man-handled and found on this long bridge that spread itself halfway into the water, or if she collected crabs and fish from the tide pools and the small holes that covered the surface of the sand. He'd never seen anything as magnificent as this paradise before, and he was happy to share the moment with Confetti. He looked to her face, into her eyes, and wished she could see the looks that he gave her now.
[[ Mascaron ]]
Setting- Dressing stables
In context to- Parzival
Mascaron loved the look that Parzival shot him. Eagerly, he tried to manage a nicker, a small sound, a smile, any friendly gesture that she would understand. But he found it hard to control his voice or his actions, and a small mumble came out, intended to be pleasant, but not the best of all sounds. He felt so unstable as he stood, looking at her. He blinked, trying to fascinate how on earth he'd become so clumsy and how he'd melted to such putty as he looked into her eyes. His long lashed tickled the space above his eyes, and he looked away for a moment, embarrassed that his stare had been so easily caught. He turned to look at the skillfull hands of the colored man once more. He was fascinated, and it gave him a chance to stand tall once more. While his eyes were consumed with watching the man's quick hands, his thoughts were satisfied by other things. Why was she so beautiful? We did he feel a pull towards her if they'd only just met? He felt awkward and strange, like he'd never done before, and he realized that this would be nearly the first time that he'd been near another horse much like him. He smiled inside of himself, curious as to what Parzival's thoughts carried. He stared at her once more, unable to help himself. He came to the realization that... she was beautiful. As a man of light skin and greyed hair, the man that had brought him into his stall next to the mare, approached him, Mascaron struggled to see around him and catch Parzival's eyes again. The man turned and yelled back to the man handling Parzival. "I've got this big boy, Blue."
