Allegra began to open up her eyes for a moment, blinking a few times to try and regain her sight. She looked around again, seeing only pure darkness in the cell. No light shone through the cracks in the hull of the ship, which meant that it was still dark outside. She tried getting up when she realised that cold metal bars kept her from moving anywhere. I'm in a... cell...? she asked herself, looking around once more in the cell.
After a moment of seeing nothing but darkness, she let out a sigh and trtied to remember a certain spell that gave her a small ball of light in her hand. "Illuminora," she whispered, and out of the palmof her hand came a beam of light that illuminated the entire cell. Her eyes widened at the stained blood on the ground, and based on the blood it was still fresh. Her eyes followed the small trail of blood before they stopped staring at one part of the cell.
Marcel.
Immediately, Allegra crawled over to him, setting the ball of light on the ground as she looked down at the wound in his side. It was still bleeding from earlier in the swordfight with Arthur, and she could tell that it was losing much more blood than she had imagined. Her hands drifted up to the sides of his face, feeling her hands shaking from the sudden shock that Marcel was actually gravely wounded.
"Marcel... it's me... Allegra.. stay with me okay? I'm going to heal you..." she soothed to him, looking down at the dried blood in front of him. She was a little overwhelmed at how much had been lost, let alone how he was still alive. She placed her hands on the wound, sucking in a short breath as she tried to remember her training from her mother. It all seemed like an eternity now, staying in Fortuna. Now it was a life or death situation, and her magic was finally coming into good use.
"Kian unto frey'a ein siche," she whispered softly, and suddenly a blue light had appeared from her hands and was swirling into the wound. She hoped desperately that she would have enough time to save him, and that the spell wouldn't hurt him any further. After a moment, she lifted her hands that were covered in his blood, revealing his normal skin again with no wound whatsoever.
Allegra looked back up to Marcel, placing a hand on the side of his cheek. The light that she had next to her suddenly disappeared in a flash, and they were left alone once again in darkness. "Marcel... are you alright...? I'm here..." she whispered to him, her head still throbbing from the pirate that had pulled her by the hair to the brig.
