He could tell the others seemed to be in the same position he was - by the looks of some of the rooms leading off the main one, they were similar to the one he woke in.
So, he had somehow been transported to a strange world, thrown into a building of some kind with other creatures. As he began listing what he knew, he began to remember something about poison gas. So they probably needed to leave - and soon.
He suddenly wished he had a bird Shift. It would make things a lot easier, he could fly up to the skylight. Unfortunately, he didn't. But he did want to help.
The cat person seemed to be in charge. But as he made his way towards her, he caught sight of two newcomers moving out of a room and looking around in confusion. Hesitating only a second, he moved towards them.

She blinked, turning to look around the room.
"Oh..." she said slowly. Her mind was full of questions, but she wasn't sure where to start. "Why are we here?" she asked finally, wondering if she had time to ask questions. Posions gas didn't sound very good.

Kaulaur 'Drift' Hadar of Nimburu | Female | Nandu | Tags: Aria?? I give up

Kaulaur overheard the small rodent's words and instantly frowned.
She walked over and cleared her throat politely. "I can see why this idea seems more practical, but it also sounds risky. We don't know if that's pure glass; melting it could release a whole slew of chemical compounds into the air even before the gas ever has a chance to kill us. And a flame that is hot enough and lasts long enough to melt a hole in the glass will deplete oxygen incredibly quickly- not to mention that we are standing on a hardwood floor. The melting point of glass is far above the point at which wood will catch fire." She had dealt with fires on board the ship only a few times- but a few times was quite enough for her liking. She paused, glanced up, and shook her head.
"Whatever. Just..." she tried not to scoff at the animal before her. It- she- was putting far too much emphasis on politeness and not nearly enough on getting everyone in line. "I don't care what you do," she muttered finally as she flattened the finned crest that ran across her cranium against her head and pulled up the hood of her suit, pulling up a black mask that covered most of her face from the nose down and doubled as a filter and emergency oxygen distribution. "If this doesn't work, I'll find a way out myself," she muttered as she adjusted the hood and pulled a visor over the top half of her face, leaving no millimeter of skin exposed. "Just don't come running to me if you screw this up." With that, she turned to the crowd, cupped her hands to her mouth- which was quite unnecessary- and switched on the amplifier. Ordinarily designed to allow for verbal communication even with the mask over her mouth, it worked well enough as a loudspeaker. "I'm giving you all one minute to beat it and find a room or I'll put you in a room myself," she barked angrily. She considered firing a shot to make sure she'd gotten their attention, but she didn't want to waste her ammunition unless absolutely necessary.

Fastrade | Female | Shipboard Unrestrained Tier 0.5 AI, Android | Tags: Lucy

Fastrade's eyes surveyed the gun quickly. She had to admit, she had not expected that. It did not take much to ascertain the gun was not a hologram.
She narrowed her eyes and allowed the motors and servos to tighten their grip for a split-second before the fingers unhinged and she pulled her arm back to her side, standing calmly between the human female and the door. "I would not recommend that," she said flatly, but she couldn't entirely hold back a slightly smug smile. "My vital systems and processors are scattered throughout this shell. It's quite homogeneous. Destroying a few minor pieces would not kill me- and I do not recommend you try to test this. I could crush your skull faster than you could blink."
She had not been entirely lying. Her body had not been constructed as an android, but instead a fluid mass of tiny interlocking moving parts that took on whatever form she told them to, and her mind, like the mechanical pieces, was scattered throughout, connected by hair-thin wires. On some level, damage to the processing units- 'neurons', as they were called- or their connections would not put her at a disadvantage for long, as it would take only milliseconds for the signal to find a new passageway. But a gunshot could seriously compromise structural integrity and range of motion. Even if just a few motors were damaged, it could jam easily and severely limit how the shell could move. And that was not something that Fastrade would be particularly excited about, even though it would be extremely difficult to actually kill her in the traditional sense of the word. She had also been lying about being able to crush her skull. The shell was not strong. It could lock in place and distribute force exerted upon it evenly, allowing for the entire body to take the brunt of the load, but had the woman tried to pry her hand away from her neck before she'd let go, she most likely would have succeeded (and burned out some motors in the process).
She just hoped the woman wouldn't call her bluff.
"I am the Shipboard AI of Lunar Intergalactic Trade Vessel Fastrade," she said formally. "And assuming you have no idea what's going on, I know just as much as you do. Probably less."

(O.O WAIT WAIT WAIT AAAAAAAAAAAAH Hold up people!!! Goodness, I go away for a few hours and this thing takes off! Also, Cael, YES. That's like me every time I see fire. Except on a slightly less hypnotizing level.)

Orion ~ tags;Drift

Orion glanced down, noticing the alien woman waving at him. Curious, he flapped his wings and arrowed down, realizing only [i]slightly[i] too late that it might be a tad more than a bad idea to go talk to the woman who'd waved a gun around a few minutes earlier. He landed, Shifting back to human, his feathery hair standing up, a clear indication he was upset. "Um, hi?" he said nervously, standing next to the blue-skinned woman.

(@De- I know! I had volunteering all day and then I come back to this 2+ pages of shtuff.
Time to go shove myself in a room and wait for the roof to blow~

@Sparrow- Unless Cherry's like 7'5'', I'm going to assume the boys are much taller than her ;D)

Altair//Alien//Male//23//Tags: Cherry, Q

Altair agreed with Drift's statement on glass, which was partially why he was still on board with her idea. Melting sounded far too risky in his opinion. Seeing the female get a little rough with her words, he backed off. Not that he could do much other than get out of her way. Turning around, he noticed a familiar head of jet black hair poking out from one of the doors. Their eyes met, and Altair headed over to his android friend. There was also a girl in the room with a peculiar bag. Q looked at him as if to say, "Help me, I can't talk." The alien stifled a laugh, knowing the robot wouldn't find it funny, and instead ducked his head inside and looked at Q for an explanation.

Q//Android//Male//22//Tags: Cherry, Altair

Before Altair had come over and during the girl's onslaught of questions, Q was practically helpless. He couldn't answer her. He stood when she got up, still worried she might not be well. But she seemed fine and so, when he heard Drift telling people to get into the rooms, he poked his head back out to beckon Altair over. Q knew he was fairly taller than Cherry, but after Altair ducked his head inside, the obvious height difference became very apparent. The android began to sign, his hands moving quickly and methodically, to explain the situation.
'She's only just woken up and wishes to know what is going on.'
"Oh! Okay, uh, well... lot's of things are going on, Miss. To the best of our knowledge, each of us have been placed here against our will and need to be out of here in a little less than half an hour. Otherwise whoever the psycho is who came up with this is gonna suffocate us with poisonous gas. But right now we have some people trying to break the roof, which is made of glass, so we can all hopefully get up and out that way? I don't know, it seems like a bit of a long shot. Either way, we can't really leave this room until they're done unless we wan't to take a shower in glass shards."
He paused his tornado of information to put his hands on his hips and breathe in before adding, "Oh, and if I may ask, what might your name be? I'm Altair, and this is Q. He's mute, so you kinda can't talk to him." he gestured to himself and the robot. Q shifted, not entirely happy with that statement. It wasn't Altair's fault he couldn't talk, but he knew it was a bit of a touchy subject for the man.

Cherry ~ Female ~ 17
Tags ~ Q

Cherry stared at the man who'd just walked in - Altair, that was his name. Taking a deep breath, she replied warily, "Right. Uh, I'm Cherry. And... what do you mean by glass?" she asked him. To answer her own question, she stepped forward and saw that the large room beyond the door had a glass roof.
And as for the poisonous gas... well, that was just great. A potential death sentence to top off the fact that she'd just woken up in a strange place full of strange people.
"Does anyone have a watch or something? It'd be nice to know exactly how long I have before I die. And where are we, anyway? Is this even still Everest, or are we on another mountain?" Glancing back at the collection of strange people, dragons, and other creatures of indeterminate species, she added, "Or, y'know, another planet. Reality. Dimension. Universe. Whatever this place is."

OOC ~ Cherry is about average height. I'm assuming, by the way, that they came here from wherever they were in previous stories. So, in case you were wondering, Cherry lives in a secret underground HQ in Mt Everest. Because of global warming and evil dictators.

Aria crossed her arms and glared at Drift "Well, unless and until you have a solid idea, please go into the other rooms. Honestly if you want to, then shoot me and that solves the problem of oxygen."

The snow leopard turned back towards Aria and Kaulaur. The woman probably did have a solid idea, and it would've been by far safer than what Aria had come up with, what on Earth was the cat doing? Couldn't she see the dangers involved in attempting to melt a window as opposed to smashing or whatever the blue lady was thinking about doing?
"Miss Atwater, I'm not sure about how this is going to work- and how is them shooting you going to be a good idea at all? You don't even know what type of glass that is, what if this 'dragon' can't muster a flame hot enough to even begin to melt it? We could've set the entire place on fire without managing to melt the window at all." He waved a paw at Drift. "I really think it would be safer to take their advice. There's just so many things that could go wrong here, maybe we could try some of their ideas first, and if it d-doesn't work then we can try your idea? We've still got a while before this gas starts, that's if the creature over the loudspeaker wasn't bluffing. "

Lucy took a wary step back, second hand moving to her gun to steady it. Crush her skull? She looked Fastrade up and down. This woman didn't really seem like the 'I'm-here-to-crush-your-skull' type, but she wasn't taking any chances. She straightened up, narrowing her green eyes at the other female. She didn't really believe the 'shell' part but kept it in the back of her mind in case the woman wasn't trying to trick her and was actually telling the truth.
"Well, I'd prefer to keep my skull as it is and did you just say Shipboard? So you're a sailor, right? Nice." The summoner held back a snort of amusement. "I wouldn't say no idea, but I guess you could put it that way if you really wanted to. But I doubt you know less. Mind telling me exactly what's goin' on?"

Aria/ Cat/ Female

Aria stepped back, holding her hands up.
"Well then this is the last you will here of me. Madame, I do hope you can tell the dragons the idea is off and can come up with your own. Be it on your own head if there isn't enough time."
Then she slowly stalked to the other side of the room and leaned against the wall, arms crossed.

The young girl listened silently to the discussion, unsure of what to do. She wanted to get out of here, but she didn't want to get hurt.
She decided the best bet was to head back to her room. Only thing was, she wasn't sure which room she had come out. Unsure if she wanted to go into a strange room, she decided to stick with Aria, she seemed to know what was happening.
So she moved after the act, not entierly sure what she should do. Should she say something? She bit her lip, wanting to be out of this strange room - she had just escaped, and now she was back in a cell? The young girl didn't like it at all.
