1x1 with Pika Girl

"Carnival saved me from a dog fight." Flora mewed. "I don't know what would of happened to me if he didn't save me." As Flamepool smeared the poultice she flinched at the stinging. "Would it be alright with you if my kits and I stayed here with you tonight? We'll be gone by morning." Flora asked.
Carnival looked to Flamepool wondering what she would decide.

After Flamepool finished smearing on the poultice, she smiled and mewed, "Well you shouldn't be traveling with those wounds. I'm fine with it if Carnival is."

"Fine, I guess you could stay." Carnival mewed. "I know how it feels to be in need of shelter when your injured."
Flora's eyes sparked with joy. "Thank you very much! You two are wonderful."

-time skip-

The cats get situated with their nests. Flamepool let the kits stay with her for the night. Carnival was standing outside of the den. Staring up into the night sky. Flora joined him outside while everyone was asleep. "It's a clear sky tonight." She mewed. Carnival stayed silent. Flora continued, "I just wanted to thank you one more time. Without you I wouldn't see my kits again. I'm hapy I was reunited with them." She looked at Carnival. "There should be more toms like you Carnival, not many would come to rescue me." Flora looked to the ground. "My mate wouldn't of." Carnival brushed his tail against her cheek. "Just be glad there was someone to save you." He mewed. The two of them returned to inside the den. Carnival curled a little ways away from Flamepool. Flora curled next to him. 'He's so handsome and daring.' Flora thought as she looked at Carnival. 'But he's probably with the other she-cat.' She closed her eyes. 'Oh well.'

(Ooh hell nah! Cat fight XD)
Little did they know, Flamepool had stepped outside to get a break from the hyper kits. She had heard Flora kinda hitting on Carnival and did not like it. She sat there watching them for some time until they started to head back inside. Flamepool quickly ran to her nest and pretended to be asleep. Satisfied at the fact that Carnival didn't try anything and that he decided to sleep closer to her than usual, she fell into a deep and comfortable sleep.

(This was the reaction from Flamepool that I wanted *evil grin*)

-time skip to morning-
Carnival, Flamepool, Flora, and the kits were heading out towards Twolegplace. Carnival and Flamepool were just escorting them. Flora's injuries were well enough for traveling conditions. The kits gave Flamepool one last tackle goodbye and left with their mother leaving Flamepool and Carnival alone again.

The two cats returned to their makeshift den. Carnival sat outside thinking about were they should go next...(or was he?)

(What are you up to... p.s. I think Flamepool would make a great mother she just loves kits and they always seem drawn to her)

Flamepool broke the silence by askin, "So what did you think about Flora?"

(I'm just trying to add some tension between these two to make this more interesting... And I totally agree with you. Kits love Flamepool)

Flamepool snapped Carnival out of his thoughts. "Huh, Flora? Yeah she's nice, and friendly. She's a young and sweet she-cat. It's just sad how her mate doesn't care for her." His tail was lashing and his fur bristled.

"It's a shame, but most toms outside of the clans are like that. There really isn't anything we can do for her." Flamepool sighed and said, "Look, I heard your conversation last night. I heard how she was talking with you and I am not ok with that. She obviously was trying to flirt with you."

Carnival was taken aback. "Huh? Flirting?" His eyes turned a shade of pink. "Well uh, um..." Carnival didn't know what to say to the angry she-cat. "I kinda just wanted to comfort her and stuff. She sounded like my mother who also ended up alone." His eyes turned back to green. "I just don't like seeing she-cats in distress. I've seen too much of that in my life."
"If I could I would of gone with her." Carnival realized what he had said and knew he blew it.
