The Rainbow After the Storm (Heavy Rain RP.)

"Right, okay. See you tomorrow, then." Zayden said, turning to walk back towards his car. As he turned, he then finally notice the ARI laying in the snow. They were so crushed, it took him a while to even notice that they were the ARIs.
But, right now, that wasn't the most important thing on his mind. He got into his car, on his way back home.

Madison jumped, shaken out of her thoughts when Norman began yelling, although it was muffled. "What? What is it? Norman, are you alright?" she asked, leaning over to his seat and examining him. The only blood on him wasn't his, or at least she thought so. She touched his arm gently, staring at him.

"Oh, yeah." Norman replied hesitantly, looking over at her, letting go of his tie. "My ribs hurt really, really, really bad, we've lost all of our evidence, and a girl just died in my arms...oh yeah! I'm fantastic!" He let out a wry chuckle and looked over at her before shifting the car in drive and pulling back onto the road. "Sorry," he added softly. "I just wanna go back to the hotel and sleep. Sleep all of this away, sleep my life away!"

(( Poor guy. He's having a break down. ))

Madison drew back away and buckled herself up. She wasn't angry at him for the outburst, though it did surprise her slightly. How could she blame him, though? She'd probably be worse off than he was. After all he went through..
She nodded. "I'll come with you, if that's ok. If you want me to," she said.

Norman flicked his eyes over to Madison. "Yeah. Sure," He glanced back over at her and smiled again. He felt bad that he couldn't control his emotions like that, and just popped. He glanced down at his tie before looking back at the road again. "Yeah....you can come. Might even help ya sleep better," he added with a small smile again. "I get the feeling that we're not going to be sleeping tonight, though. At all." He squeaked quietly with a chuckle again. Who could?

Madison shook her head. She hated to admit it, but he was right. "Yeah, probably not. I can already tell my insomnia's gonna act up, but it's alright," she said with a shrug. "Maybe if I lay there long enough, i'll fall back to sleep." she said hopefully, though she highly doubted it. It just didn't work that way. It never had. But she really didn't mind to stay up.

Norman returned to her a sweet smile. "I could stay up with you, if you want. We could do something to get your mind off of it. Play a board game or somethin'." he suggested with a shrug. He really did want Madison to know he was there for her, no matter what. Norman had a bit of insomnia himself, really. What with the ARI and everything. Not to mention the origami killer night terrors he'd been having recently. "Everything will be alright, Maddy-Moo," he rested his hand next to hers and intertwined their hands, placing them on the console. "I promise. We can get through this together."

(I'm so sorry! It's been a busy week/weekend.)

Madison smiled. "Thank you Norman, but it's really okay. You need to sleep. You've been through a lot more than I have." she said, patting his hand. "We will get through this. I know we will." she said with a nod, offering another smile. "I should be fine. I'm used to staying up. Maybe I can work on some stuff." she said with a shrug.

"Maddy, thank you," Norman commented with a smile. "Yeah, maybe you could get some work done." He said with a laugh, then looked up at all the snow. It was pretty, but who could enjoy it? He had blood on his hands, and it wasn't his blood. It was the blood of an eighteen year old girl. He glanced back at the icy roads. "She told me everything." He told, clearing his throat. "Everything! That she...she stole the ARI, she was the ones placing the origami."
