Zayden slowly pulled into the place where Ethan had wrecked, not noticing the chaos. He stepped out of his little blue car, picking up the blankets and holding them in his arms as he approached Norman. "Norman, what's--.." he cut himself off as he noticed the blood and familiar looking person laying near Jayden. His eyes widened, and for once he actually looked truly shocked. "My God, what happened?" he nearly exclaimed.

"Jesus Christ, Jayden, what is all of this?" Carter hissed as he slammed the door from his car. He checked to see if Madison was out of the car before stepping over all of the blood. "What the heck happened?" He asked again.

Jayden was shaking. He reached his bloody hands out for the blankets, simply shrugging and walking over to the girl. "It's Graybay...she's been shot," he explained, briefly looking up at them all before wrapping the young girl in the blanket. "She, uh, she called me a while ago, and...I didn't think...she just...she died, everyone. She died." He explained, hanging his head and resting it on Madison's shoulder.

Blake stopped and threw his mouth open, eyes growing concerned for a hasty second, before walking over to the body. "Yep. ....She's been shot dead," Blake told with a nod.

Madison got out of the car, her eyes growing wide. "Oh my God," she said, leaning against the car for support and placing a hand over her mouth. She found herself shaking as well; whether it was from the cold or from what she was witnessing she didn't know, but she didn't care, either. She patted Norman on the back, not sure what else to do. "I-I'm sorry. Was she dead when you got here?" she asked.

Zayden followed Blake, although it churned his stomach. He hadn't seen as many dead bodies as they had, he was sure. Well, that's kind of obvious, Blake..he wanted to shoot back, though he held his tongue. It wasn't the time for his sarcasm. His eyes popped open. "What's this?" he asked, picking the origami dog up off the ground. It was bloodstained, too..of course.

"No." Jayden simply answered, shaking and sobbing. How could a girl die in one's arms and they not sob? She had so much to live for. But she was dead because of one stupid mistake. "Oh my God," he cried out, shaking again. "She died...here, in my arms."

Blake moved around the scene, careful not to step on any blood and leave bloody footprints around. He glanced down at the shattered ARI before giving a grimace. "Bye evidence," he whispered as he shot back over to Zayden. "How did...what?" He looked back at Norman. "Hey, Lover Boy, how did this all happen?"

"I don't know...it all happened before I got out here. " His voice was distant. Like it was torn apart and shattered. "She called me a while ago and...she was just laying on the ground, shot and pooled with blood when I got here."

"Huh...no gun, no anything. " Blake looked back down at the girl before hanging his head and closing the blanket.

Zayden stepped away, clutching the origami in his hands as guilt ripped at his insides. How could he have been going around so carelessly earlier saying such rude things about her? Honestly, he wasn't much on GB beforehand, but she didn't deserve this. This was never meant to happen. Why didn't they consider that she could've been in danger? He bit at the inside of his cheek.

"Oh, my God.." Madison repeated, looking at her shoes. She felt herself begin to tear up, though she didn't know her barely at all. It was just..it wasn't right. It wasn't fair. Why wasn't anything fair..? "Did she say who done it?" she asked, her voice now just a hushed murmur.

"No," Norman answered again, finally getting up and rubbing his arms. "No. Nothing. She just kept referring to a 'he.' Like 'he did this'."

Carter sighed, looking back down at the girl. "Such a shame," he mumbled in a whisper as he got out his phone. "Yeah. I need...."

Norman glanced down at Hendrix as he was twisting a small dog in his hands. At least he didn't get to see the girl's body again. He stumbled over to Hendirx, looking at the origami. "What's that?"

Madison leaned up against the car silently with her arms crossed, watching as cars whizzed by on the bridge above them. She was basically trying to look anywhere but the crime scene. She noticed Blake talking on the phone, and wondered for a moment if GB had her phone in her pocket or something. There had to be some kind of evidence on that, right? She'd point it out at a later time, she decided.

Zayden looked at Norman wordlessly before showing him the dog, which was bloodstained ironically on the same fold the message was written on. "It was laying on the ground beside her hand," he said quietly, sounding puzzled.

Norman, with a sniffle, bent over to Zayden. "Really?" He glanced from the dog up to Blake. "We have no way of tracking it now."

Blake ended the phone conversation, walking over to the two. "Looks like we're gonna have to do this the old fashioned way." he told them with a straight face, bending over next to Norman. "The station is on their way. Maybe you guys better go. Get some sleep, there's not much you guys can do from here. Him," he gestured over at Norman, "with no ARI, Hendrix and I with nothing to work with, and Madison," he glanced over at her, "Madison isn't looking too good."

Upon hearing that, Jayden drew his attention over to Madison with a sympathetic smile.

"Besides! You're on bed rest, remember, Jayden? No stress?" Blake jeered, shaking him around a little.

"True," Norman mumbled, getting up again, and with a look back down at Blake and the blanket, made his way over to Maddy. His ribs. He had forgotten about how bad they hurt. He walked up to her and started rubbing her arms soothingly, not saying a word, and kissing the pain away.

"Here," Zayden said, handing Blake the origami. He wasn't sure about Norman, but he really didn't want to keep it, himself. Besides, she wouldn't have written on an origami to herself..right? He shook his head, waving at Norman and Madison before turning back to Blake. "Do you want me to stay?" he asked.

Madison kissed him back. "Uh, let's just go," she said, turning towards the car. She would try to forget about this. She really would. But she figured that it would just be added to the list of things that would never, ever, leave her memory. And she had a sinking feeling that this list wouldn't be ending any time soon.

Blake looked over at Zayden, a flick of compassion in his eyes as he shook his head. "Nah," he answered sternly. "You can go...sleep it off like the rest of them." He added, taking the origami in his hands. He was sure Jayden didn't want it. He didn't know what to do. All of their evidence was gone, broken and shattered in the snow. It was like they hadn't even collected a single thing. The slow thought came with a side of nausea. They were going to have to start all over. No leads to go on.

Norman silently nodded, shutting the car door after making sure Madison was in. He was shaking even wore now that he turned the engine over. He glanced back over at his gun, putting it in the glove box before reaching in his pocket for medicine. He could feel pain rival in his body. No. It wasn't worth it. He returned his hands to the steering wheel, slowly putting them up to his head, biting at his tie and letting out a muffled scream.
