- Dark's first feeling was cold wetness sliding out of his hair and down his face. He spat some of the icy water out of his mouth, before shaking out his pitch mop. Raising his head, he was surprised to find himself staring at a penthouse room, the city of Jigoku spread like a map through the nearest window. He tried to stand up to see better, but found himself bound to a chair with thick rope and zipties. Then, it all came flooding back. The net, falling through the trapdoor, Anika's hand reaching for him as the darkness swallowed his sight. Then nothing. Sweeping his gaze to the right, he spotted a head of red hair. Stella. To his left, a Jishin henchman walking away with the bucket that used to contain his watery alarm clock. Aephon was nowhere to be seen. "Hey. Why am I here?" He called to her, voice husky.

- Kirai grit his teeth as tears slid down Alex's face, and he rubbed Alex's back gently. "I know. You just have to hold out a little bit longer until the ambulance arrives, alright?" He held him closer, tilting his head so his chin rested on top of the Black Coat's hair. "You'll be okay, I promise." As Alex's fingers tightened on his shirt, he bit his lip, feeling helpless. Dark was gone, Anika was a mess, Alex would be out of commission for a while, and he was still waiting to exhaustion and blood loss to catch up to him. Looking around at the gathered crowd, he could see that the Roses were a little worse for wear as well. They d taken on the might of Jishin together, and yet they had still paid heavy tolls for the smallest and most insignificant victory. As the sounds of pained murmurs and fearful whispers pervaded the air, Zenin realised someone would have to lead this ragtag bunch while their leader was.. gone. What did they need Dark for? Well, that was easy. With him in their custody, not only were they depriving the Black Coats and the Scarlet Roses with a figurehead, but they would get information off him while he was held as a hostage to ward off any other attacks. Zenin sighed as he held Alex, head bowed. They had lost big time.

- "Yes, thank you. Get your shoulder looked at when we get back, ok?" He nodded at her as they rounded the corner and reached the car, Jason and Stella in the back as Aephon took the passenger seat.

Aephon sat in his chair, one of the Jishin medics wrapping the bloodied mess that was his hand at some point. In his good hand, he was reading over some reports submitted by both Jishin members and neutral citizens about any rival gang activity. Although most members of the public couldn't care less about who ran Jigoku, the Jishin offered a reward for any viable evidence of possible threats to their rule. Most of them he knew about and had sent squads to wipe out any rebellions, but he wanted to do something normal and mundane after all the excitement earlier. He'd left Stella upstairs on his private floor with an unconscious Dark - who would have been woken up by now - and Jason was watching some Jishin martial arts practice a few floors down. That was the great thing about skyscrapers as bases, everything was so conveniently placed. Asthe medic tied off the final knot, he folded the reports and stood up, heading up to meet with Stella.
