harper wanted to argue, but he knew she was right. if the kit got out, it wasn't the nicest area to go looking. if the kit even survived that is. "alright." he agreed, smiling at her. he blushed almost, thinking about what had just happened, but refused. he did hope she had the same feelings. he walked over to his car, carefully watching the kit.

brook smiled at harper, before following him to his car. she held the kit close to her chest, holding it tight but not enough to hurt it. she got in the car, sitting in the front seat next to the drivers seat. she didn't let go of the kit, and kept it held to her chest. "we're like a family now." she joked, laughing a little and looking at harper.

harper grinned warmly. he liked the idea of them being a family, but that would be years away. he started driving, being extra careful over bumps, and avoiding holes. they arrived at the vet in short time, and he got out quickly.

brook quickly undid the black seatbelt, slapping the car door closed with force. she hurried over to harpers side and began to walk towards the doors. "hey, can you do the talking..? she asked him, looking into his eyes.

harper looked puzzled down at brook. he smiled at her understandingly, and put his arm around her back, and held onto her other arm tightly. a side hug. he opened the door to a nicely colored room, with dog and cat paintings everywhere. he hurried over to the counter, and waited for the kalon to get off the phone. "hello, were here for someone to see this cat. we found her over at the beach, and we need her checked." he explained, only now cautious they were both in swim suits. the kalon didn't seem to notice, and ringed someone up. another, smaller, kalon looked strangely at us, and introduced them as 'docotor win.' they said they will take the cat for a few hours, give it a few shots, then they need to take it back. they was a small pause, with a glare, and told us with clothing on.

brook bit the inside of her lip uncomfortably, uncomfortable with the slighty aggressiveness laced in the doctors tone. she felt herself lean close into harpers side, handing the cat over to them. "well would you rather us bring it here so you could help it or us take ages getting changed and bringing it here dead..?" she muttered, only loud enough for harper to hear her. brook didn't dare speak up to the doctor.

harper heard Brooklyn murmur, and agreed. it doesn't matter. if the kitten was being cared for, that's what mattered. "alright. we will be back in a few hours." he told the vet, not bothering for a bye. he turned around, and walked out.

brook hurried after harper, getting back into the car quickly. she pulled on the seatbelt, and put it in the designated slot. "they were rather rude don't you think?" she stated, looking out the car window.

harper nodded, looking back at the place in disgust. "I would care more about a cats life than if the kalons trying to save the cat were wearing." he complained. it was a pleasant car ride after that, and they arrived at the beach. he got out, relieved.

brook nodded in agreement, but said nothing more on the topic. as they pulled up at the beach again, she got out and grinned, looking up at harper. "so harp, are you ready for round three?" she challenged, grinning playfully
