Crowcloud padded up to the medicine cats, nervous. It had taken him most of the day to get there and he was mildly nervous, because he was sure that Duckpelt was pregnant. Don't worry, he thought. She's still a few months away, if at all. He noticed an adult tom and his apprentice walk up to the group. The tom muttered something, and Crowcloud decided to go up to them. He didn't know anyone, and they seemed friendly.

"Hi," he said awkwardly. "I'm Crowcloud of Forestclan."

Appleheart had been keeping an eye out for the dilute calico pelt of Brindlecloud, and when he spotted her and Ramhorn enter the Moonpool cave, he bounded up to the she-cat with a smile on his face. "Hi, Brindlecloud!" he purred. It was then that he noticed her upset expression, and queried tentatively, "Is everything alright?"

As Appleheart left her side to talk to his friend, Willowcloud found herself looking around for someone to converse with herself. She noticed someone she hadn't seen before and padded up to them. "Hello there," she started. "I don't think we've met. I'm Willowcloud of LeafClan. What's your name?"

[center]Brindlecloud relaxed slightly when she saw Appleheart making his way towards her. "N-No, nothing is alright." THe dilute calico was about to say more when Ramhorn hissed at her, cuffing her ear and giving her a stern look.

"Don't say another word." Ramhorn ordered his apprentice, lashing his tail before stalking off to the other side of the clearing. Brindlecloud looked at her paws, trying to will the stinging feeling behind her eyes to go away.

"I-I can't talk about it... We'll get in trouble."

Bassthorn sat back and looked around waiting to see if someone would approach him.
It appeared nobody noticed though.

Nightfeather pads silently into the meeting place she'd been told of, yet hasn't seen yet due to some business or other during the usual gathering. She only recognizes a few cats, and isn't friendly enough with any of them to actually talk, so she sits off to the side, observing.

Appleheart almost flinched at Ramhorn's reaction to what his friend said, and gazed after the older tom for a moment before turning back to Brindlecloud, eyes looking down at his paws. He really shouldn't have asked what the matter was. "O-okay..." he stuttered. He racked his brain, trying to think of something to say to brighten the mood. His face lit up just before he spoke, "Oh, does EchoClan have any new kits?"

If it was up to Hearthflame, he would have stayed in his den back in camp. But Jaystar had insisted he get out and 'make merry'as she always said. Which was kind of funny 'cause the leader didn't look so 'merry' when she told him so. The black tom sighed, honestly not wanting to go to the gathering. Even before the loss of Aspenleaf he wasn't at all the social type. He didn't have any friends among the medicine cats. "Oh!" He suddenly exclaimed at his thoughts as he thought of Weaselstorm. He smiled to himself a little, already feeling his spirit lift at the thought of the other tom. Hopefully he was there tonight. Shadepaw too. That would surely make his trip worth it. With a hopeful sigh and his yellow gaze hung low, Hearthflame stepped into the see of herb scented cats and went to go settle himself down somewhere, hoping that no one notices him in the darkness of the cave.

[center]Brindlecloud's eyes sparkled slightly at the mention of kits. "We had two new litters." She mewed. "I got to help deliver the second one!" Her tail started to wag excitedly. "Birdsong had her kits; Snakekit and Sandkit. Mossycreek had her kits the other day. I don't think she's named them yet... Mossycreek has been a little upset the past few days."

"...How are things in Leafclan?" The dilute calico asked, looking up at Appleheart.

Shadepaw flicked an ear as the awkward mew of the ForestClan medicine cat met her ears, she and Weaselstorm stopped to view the black tom as he came up to the pair. Shadepaw was surprised at his demeanor, she would've thought all medicine cats were confident at Gatherings. Maybe it's his first? She thought, remembering how incredibly subdued she was at her first Gathering. "Hi there!" She greeted kindly, hoping to ease the tom's nerves. "I'm Shadepaw of PineClan. it's nice to meet you." She then waited for Weaselstorm to reply, but she noticed he was staring coldly at Ramhorn instead. Shadepaw was confused as she didn't see what happened, but apparently it was enough to get her mentor riled up. She coughed to get the brown-and-white cat's attention and he then moved to stare at Crowcloud. "Ah, hey there." He mewed to him coolly. "And I'm Weaselstorm, now if you'll excuse me..." He bowed his head to Crowcloud and Shadepaw to stalk over to Ramhorn, seeing the EchoClan medicine cat cuff his apprentice's ear leaving a bad taste in his mouth.

Shadepaw sighed, praying to StarClan that he wouldn't get into a fight. "H-he can be a bit of grump, sometimes. Anyway, how's ForestClan? I don't think I've ever heard of it."

"Mind telling me what was up with that?" Weaselstorm mewed sternly as he approached Ramhorn, nodding his head towards Brindlecloud to make it clear who he was talking about. He didn't like what he saw, with Ramhorn cuffing the young medicine cat on the ear and then stalking away. The tom didn't take kindly to those who snapped at cats younger then them, not only because he had to deal with that when he was young, but because he knew how easily hurt they could be after working alongside Shadepaw for so long. And StarClan forbid he ever did anything to hurt his own apprentice.

Crowcloud nodded to Weaselstorm. He was mildly surprised that he didn't stay, but clearly there was something important that the other needed to do. Crowcloud turned to Shadepaw. "Oh, well, Forestclan's doing well. It's a new clan, yeah." He grinned as he remembered the events of the past moon. Between training the young rogue that Birchnose had found and Duckpelt's surprise pregnancy, the tiny clan had been very busy. "Well, we're due to have our first litter of kits soon, and I hope that everything will go well. There isn't much going on otherwise." He paused for a moment. What else...oh. "What about Pineclan?" he asked.
