alexei listened to lillian, nodding his head slowly. as she mentioned her mother teaching her constellations, he hummed slightly. "i can only point out one constellation." he admitted, dropping his hand from his hair. "if you could choose between flying and reading minds, what would you choose?" alexei questioned yet again, just wanting to get more of a grasp on lillian's mindset. he liked being somewhat familiar with everyone. rising to his feet, alexei refilled his glass of water before taking a seat once more.

Lillian smiled. “I think I’d go insane, being able to read minds.” She said with a shrug. “Plus, flying would be a bomb thing to put on a tinder profile.” She said jokingly, laughing. She then shook her head. Before raising a brow in mock seriousness. “Have you ever been in love?” She asked him with a kind expression. She was genuinely curious.

alexei tilted his head a bit as she explained why she chose flying, shrugging a bit. at her question, alexei slowly shook his head. "no, i haven't." the man admitted, sipping at his water. isabelle had been his first long-term girlfriend, and even then, he didn't love her. "have you?" alexei returned the question, raising a brow just as she had, lowering his glass down to the table and leaning back into his seat with a comfortable sigh.

Lillian shook er head. “Not yet.” She said with a shrug. To be fair, she hasn’t ever even had a long-term relationship. Her longest was about three months. She passed a hand through her hair. “Why are you being so nice to me? I’m just an employee of your parents.” She spoke with a smirk and a slight tilt of her head. She really did wonder why he was being so nice. Maybe it was because he pitied her. Yeah, that was probably it.

alexei nodded slowly, sipping at his water once more. at her question, he narrowed his eyes a bit before shrugging. "because, i like you. you aren't annoying like the other maids, and you don't treat me like i am some ignorant child." alexei responded. "you are confident when you need to be, and you get things done." the man added with another shrug. "there aren't many women who would turn down my mother's offer of shopping and dresses, you intrigue me."

Lillian smiled a bit at his answer. “I just don’t want to take money from your mother. She’s like my boss.” She said with a smile. Lillian looked him over. “You know, I feel like you’re intrigued because you’re not used to meeting normal girls.” She said with a nod. “Oooh we should make you a tinder account.” She said with a laugh.

alexei shrugged once more, folding his arms over his chest. as she mentioned meeting normal girls, his brow quirked up but he remained quiet, unsure of how to respond. when she mentioned a tinder account, alexei shook his head. "no. that will only draw unneeded attention." alexei muttered. he never really liked posting, or taking, pictures of himself. and he knew that he was fairly monotone and blunt most of the time, he was sure most girls wouldn't exactly appreciate that.

Lillian laughed and nodded. "Yeah, you don't seem like an online dating kind of guy." She spoke with a wink. "That's not always a bad thing. Most of the guys online are jerks." She said with a huff, passing a hand through her hair. Lillian looked over at the male and smiled. "You should try to meet someone though." She mused happily. "I think that you would be a lot of fun once you got close with someone. It's obvious about you." She said with a smirk. She looked him over before shrugging.

alexei huffed at lillian's response. as she told him to meet someone, he shook his head. krasa ran over, immediately licking his hands once she smelled the slight chicken. scooping the large puppy up, he placed her on his lap and scratched behind her ears. "i'll get close with krasa." alexei declared with a smirk, wrinkling his nose on instinct as the dog immediately began to lick his face. "okay, okay, enough." alexei spoke with a bit of amusement, lowering krasa back down to the floor. "she loves me for food, not money. i can handle that."

Lillian giggled and shook her head. "I'm pretty sure if you kept cooking like that, I'd love you for food too." She said with a laugh. She passed a hand through her hair, her perfect smile shining. Lillian then looked at the puppy and reached over to scratch her between the ears. "Who's the cutest girl alive? You are, yes you are!" She said in a baby voice, making a kissy face at the little dog. She giggled at her actions and leaned back away from the dog. Krasa was a very cute dog, and Lillian knew that even as she got bigger, she would still always be Alexei's little baby.
