Daxton led Nanook into the forest. They eventually reached the stream. "After you," he mewed to Nanook, flicking his tail at the river.

Not far down the creek she saw a man-made bridge. "Down there!" She said hurrying down the creek.

Daxton followed Nanook to the bridge. "A crossing path. It reeks of twolegs." He mewed. He dipped his head slightly, signalling for Nanook to go first.

She walked across the bridge to the other side. "Hurry up!" She said teasing him.

Daxton bounded across the crossing-path. He heard barking in the distance and saw two dogs running towards them. "Run!" Daxton yowled.
