Adonis noticed her, and copied her as well, grabbing a bunch of odd clothes and tossing them on, waiting outside the door for her so she would see him as soon as she came out. He wore a sports coat that was about three sizes too big, as well as a tie he didn't tie properly, so it hung around his neck oddly. There was a top hat on his head, which clashed with his neon sunglasses and the mis-matched cowboy boots he was wearing.

Medve came out with a red velvet dress on. "Well, it is pretty nice, but I don't do dresses," she looked at Adonis and began to laugh, "Oh man, the clothes they sell here," she said, smiling.

"You look lovely -- how about a dance?" Adonis grinned playfully as he offered her his paw, looking at her with shimmering blue eyes. Maybe it was the music -- which had somehow changed from the upbeat party rock to a slower, more gentle sort of song -- or the lights, which were now flickering from radiant white down to a deep gray, or maybe it was just seeing her in that dress, but he felt more strongly about her than he had in a while. Memories swept through his mind: the first time they'd met, doing crazy things like jumping into zoos to see if the rumors were real, or riding rollercoasters even though he knew she was scared and she clung to him the whole time -- not that he minded having her close. Joking about Skippy together, and trying to cheer him up with scary movies and candy when he was sad. They worked well together.

Medve heard the song change, and raised her brows, then looked at Adonis. "Sure," she said, grabbing his paw. Even though she knew she was foing to blush, she didn't really care. Nobody was there, so she felt a little less nervous.

Adonis smiled as he gripped her paw firmly and twirled her toward him as softly as he could manage. He swore he could hear his heart beating so loud, it echoed in his ears like he was trapped in a cave. Well, he WAS trapped in a store -- but with her by his side, it didn't seem so bad. Drawing her closer, he slowly shifted back and forth on his paws, smiling as he looked into her beautiful brown eyes. He didn't think he'd ever seen a more enchanting pair of eyes in his entire life.

Medve looked up at him with a smile, "I thought Skippy was in here for a moment," she said with a laugh, "Since the slow song came on," she added. She was happy that she was with Adonis, but kind of missed the goof ball Skippy. Even though sometimes he could be emotional, she loved him like a brother.

Adonis couldn't help but laugh. "And how he acted all innocent, like he hadn't been the one to do it even though we both know it was him who requested a slow song." He chimed in, sad his best male friend couldn't be there, but happy that he was, for once, truly happy and with the one he loved. "And you remember when all those girls attacked him, wanting to dance?" He added, wriggling his eyebrows and grinning from ear to ear. He loved Skippy like a younger brother too, and felt almost protective of him, a feeling he knew would never go away -- it was the same way he felt about Lucy.

"Yeah, he sure did try to act innocent," she said, shaking her head. "I remember that, poor Skippy... but he gets what he deserves, you know?" she said with a laugh. She raised her brows at him as he wriggled his eyesbrows, "Your silly," she said with another laugh.

Adonis shrugged his shoulders and chuckled at the memories filling his mind. "Karma," He agreed, swishing his tail back and forth slowly to the beat of the music, which suddenly began to speed up. Smiling mischievously, he swiftly twirled her out and then pulled her back in just as fast, trying to keep up with the rapid beat that seemed to be keeping pace with his heart. The deep bass almost seemed to make the floor tremble under his paws, and he wondered how no one had noticed that they were trapped in there yet.

"Feels like I'm spinning like I was in your house earlier," Medve said with a laugh. She also wondered how nobody heard the booming music from the store. She shrugged at the thought, she actually liked being locked in here with Adonis. "Aren't you surprised nobody can hear this?" she asked, looking up into his blue eyes, smiling softly.
