[center]Whisperstar nodded to Briarstar, then turned to follow his gaze Which ones are their leaders?

Whitefoot sat down a little ways away from the leader group, keeping an intent eye on Whisperstar. Ever since he had tailed her to the moonpool, he had been watching her even more carefully, waiting for her to slip up about what she was hiding.

Hawkwing and Shadowtail wandered the clearing, staring at all the cats. Finally they spotted two that looked like they were a little ways from the rest. Hey there! Shadowtail greeted I'm Shadowtail, and this is my brother Hawkwing. We're Lunarclan cats, how about you? Hawkwing just waved his tail in greeting

Morningstar with the leaders

...They seem to cause more than they fix... This Morningstar agreed with. Every single battle had resulted in other clans being drawn in because of their alliances. He hadn't quite agreed with Sorrelstar on the Russetleaf issue but he did value his alliance with Beechclan which was why Caveclan had joined them in the battle. "Unfortunately we lost Fireface and Deerpelt in the floods." Morningstar replied. "How did Skullclan fare?" The tom once more scanned the gathering clearing before relunctantly giving up. Sagestar wasn't coming. Morningstar would have to deal with him later.

OOC: I might go to bed soon so if I disappear, that's what happened.

Woolyfur with the deputies

Woolyfur padded over to the deputies, greeting them with a small nod. Sitting down with them, he studied them quietly, his mind half on the gathering and more focused on the worry of Sedgetail being a Tumbleclan prisoner.

Shadedleaf with the medicine cats

Of Caveclan's highest ranking members, Shadedleaf was the only one calm and collected. She greeted the medicine cats with her usually cheery mew. "Hello! How's everyone doing?"

Shimmerpelt + Hawkfeather are open

Both Shimmerpelt and Harespring had insisted on coming to the gathering but Morningstar had made Harespring remain at camp. The orange leader had worried that Harespring's worry for Sedgetail would drive him to attack the Tumbleclan cats if the showed up.
Shimmerpelt had been allowed to go but only with a calming influence: Hawkfeather. He'd grown closer to his aunt and cousin since Shimmerpelt's kits had been told of the Tribe.
"They aren't here. What are we going to do if they don't show up?" Shimmerpelt was worrying again. Hawkfeather just gazed soothingly at her. "They'll be here. They wouldn't dare miss a gathering." Hawkfeather reassured her. At the approach of the two cats, both looked up. "Oh hello!" Hawkfeather greeted them, making his voice cheery and calm. "I'm Hawkfeather and this is my aunt Shimmerpelt. We're from Caveclan." It was an odd thing to call her his aunt but he liked the feeling. Finding a part of his family he'd always believed to be lost was wonderful.

Chiveclaw + Lilystem are tagged with Daisyskip of Leafclan

"That's awful! I'm so sorry." Lilystem exclaimed. Chiveclaw was looking startled and a bit interested. "You have a ravine in your territory?" That could and was a danger for young kits and apprentices who didn't look where they were going.

Honeystar nodded with relief. She didn't know either clan. "Are their leaders' here?" she asked. "I don't know almost anyone here!" A new molly joined them, and Honeystar nodded back. "Hello," she said in greeting. "I'm Honeystar of Forestclan." This time, she decided to allow the others to introduce themselves if they wished.

Birchnose had meandered around the Gathering until she found the deputies. "Hi!" she said cheerfully, eager to meet the others. "I'm Birchnose of Forestclan. Has anything interesting happened yet?"

Crowcloud smiled at the cheery molly. She and Birchnose would likely get along well, especially if this medicine cat liked gossip as much as Birchnose. "I'm doing well, thank you," he said. "And you?"

"Sadly," said Acornstream, "we don't have any kits or apprentices." Maybe there will be, soon, he thought, glancing briefly at Duckpelt.

"How cute are the kits?" asked Duckpelt.

"Look," Brackenflower pointed out, "I think they're the leaders over there. See?" She nodded towards a group of cats and watched Pumastar tentatively approach them.
Chuckling, she wandered around until she found some cats who smelled faintly of herbs. Deciding it would be better to talk to individual cats, she picked out a ginger and white tom and walked over to him. "Hi there." She greeted, I'm new, my name's Brackenflower. Of Wrenclan. Whats yours?" Simple conversation is a good way to make friends in her opinion. She flicked her tail tip happily. All these cats, so many friends to make!

Pumastar crept over to the cats that Brackenflower had pointed out. She took a deep breath and announced herself, "Hello. How are you all? I'm Pumastar." Pushing away her nerves she found that conversing wasn't all that hard. She hoped she could make some allies, for Wrenclan was vulnerable and set in a nice location.

The night was late and it was cold out. As Morningstar stepped forward to talk, his fur was fluffed up against the cold. "Caveclan has several things to report tonight. Gingerface was killed in the war between Beechclan and Tumbleclan and Deerpelt and Fireface were lost in recent flooding. Onto the good news: Juniperfoot and Harespring have become mates and we've had a few new apprentices since the last gathering. They're learning quickly and will be warriors before we know it." Announcements finished, the ginger tabby leapt off the Great Rock, a flick of his tail gathering his cats together as they left.

Briarstar stepped away from the leaders he had been speaking to, flicking his ears somewhat apologetically. "It's time to say our announcements." He padded up to the highrock, briefly clearing his throat before calling out the announcements.
"Thicketclan has had a mild leafbare. A flood had threatened our camp, but didn't take any loves. We welcome Foxpoppy, Mothflower, Nour, Russetpaw, Burnetpaw, and Wolfpaw into our ranks. Sunpaw and Morningpaw have become Sunfoot and Morningleaf. We would like to extend a paw in ally-ship to Forestclan. That is all."
He stepped back, sending Honeystar a hopeful smile. "I think I'll be going now. See you soon!" He slipped away, beckoning his warriors out of crowd and padding away.

Squirrelstar stepped up next. "Hemlockheart and Hurricanejaw recently became warriors. Bayfur and Stagstep's kits, Gorsekit and Icekit, recently became apprentices. We've also had three more litters! I had Strawberrykit, Beekit, Wrenkit and Acornkit. Sumnyflower had Sparkkit and Birdsong had Snakekit and Sandkit. We also sadly lost one of our elders, Rosie."

Heronstar, Chubtail, Boulderdash

The Gustclan cats had arrived quite late at the gathering, and it was due to this and a total unfamiliarity with the clans present that had somewhat limited- if by somewhat you mean "completely" their interactions. Heronstar was meant to know which group was which, but she hadn't been part of a proper clan since before she'd been able to go to a gathering; Chubtail had traveled a long way to get here, so had absolutely no idea who any of the cats were, and Boulderdash had been a rogue, and not a warrior, beforehand.
At least they were here peacefully, and no one could accuse them of any harm to their clans. Heronstar would make sure of that. She was going to be calm and think through every decision, and put none of her clan in danger from anything that she could avoid for their sake. Them not having caused any clan any harm was crucial. If they were seen, and not recognised because they were seen to have done nothing wrong, there were much worse predicaments.
On the opposite end of the priorities scale, Boulderdash was secretly assessing the attractiveness of most of the male cats from other clans. Warriors were far more attractive than the rogues that she had previously been acquainted with.
Heronstar was quite grateful when the time for announcements came, as it was only then that she could identify who the leaders actually were. Hopefully, she'd be able to talk to them next gathering, or rather, get the courage to do so. She hadn't even been to a gathering before and she was expected to be a fully experienced leader! It wasn't just caution, but also nerves that held her back.
She piped up after Squirrelstar spoke. "Greetings," she said, walking up to where the other leaders were, "I am Heronstar of Gustclan. I do not have much to say, bar for announcing the founding of our clan, and the welcoming of Chubtail and Boulderdash into our admittedly somewhat limited ranks. I am glad for all your kits and new warriors." She was pretty good at hiding her emotions, and good thing too, because otherwise she would have been shaking like a leaf. That would not have been a good first impression.

Boulderdash is open for forbidden romances, if anyone's interested.

Spiderstar, and Moonshadow arrived at camp by themselves. Leafstrike still wasn't feeling too well, Fawnthroat needed to stay with him and Ravenfeather hadn't wanted to leave her mate. Spiderstar joiner the other leaders and decided to step up next. "we have welcomed a medicine cat and a new warrior in our ranks since the last gathering, Fawnthroat and Moonshadow. One of our cats almost drowned in the flood but has survived, and is now recovering in camp." he quickly said. "and that's about it. Oh, and Swallowclan is always looking for new allies in case anyone is interested." he added after a short pause.
