Shia looked at the young wizards' fight. She felt Zeph move the garbage cans as much as she saw it. No! Not this again! She was feeling anxious, watching her friends' argument. I don't want to get hurt, but I have to help... No. There's nothing I can do. They need to handle this themselves. She slid into the street quietly. Guzore was standing near Cassie, grinning. Shia veered away sharply. Not a chance. I just want to be alone right now. She found a little alley and made a perfect hiding place by dragging a few trash bins just far enough from the wall to fit a small girl, if she squeezed herself enough. She slipped into the almost familiar space. Memories of this habit overtook her mind. A little girl squished behind garbage cans in an alley not unlike the one she was hidden in. The present melded with the past as the teenager started to cry, just like the child in her mind. But Shia didn't notice the tears on her face, she was thinking about the young girl that had once been her.

Day 6 (Morning)/Guzore/20/Where: Castle Town/With:Cassie

Guzore's grin grew even more as she continued acting nervously and blushing.
"Hey Guzore...Do you ever get that feeling that you like someone yet...you're not quite sure if you do?"
Oh, she was being real with him right now. She was trusting him. Better not screw this up.
Oh... Well, all Gorons pretty much look the same, so I haven't really been attracted to any before, if that's what you're asking.
Guzore paused for a moment and thought.
I get what you're saying though. Sometimes in life, we gotta make a choice, and it can be hard to know which choice is the best one to make. You've only known Zeph for about a day though, right?

(I spent half an hour researching whether or not female Gorons existed and only found one in the manga, so I decided to leave it vague here XD)

"Oh... Well, all Gorons pretty much look the same, so I haven't really been attracted to any before, if that's what you're asking." Guzore responded to her question which didn't really help. I guess he wouldn't know a lot about this situation especially if he'd never felt the way she just did before. They stood there again in silence until Guzore spoke up "I get what you're saying though. Sometimes in life, we gotta make a choice, and it can be hard to know which choice is the best one to make. You've only known Zeph for about a day though, right?" Guzore made a pretty good point there, life is full of a lot of choices and you have to make the right one. But in this situation I think he was thinking a little too far ahead. Anyways Guzore did make a pretty good point. However the next question really stumped her. Had she only known Zeph for a day? She couldn't remember. To her it felt like she had known Zeph for longer than that. "Hmm...I don't know how long I've known him for...I feel like I've known him for years...but that can't be right...." She said starting to drift off of the question. "What? No! That doesn't make any sense...Ugh...my emotions are getting the best of me..." She felt really exhausted, but she had many more questions she wanted to ask. "I'm sorry. I'm just really confused right now and my feelings are getting the best of me...I'm really sorry." She said smiling back at the Goron trying not to look insane. "So...umm...what do you think of Zeph? Do you think he's a good guy?"

Della Collern/13/Colorblind/Where: Castle Town/With: Sapphire

Della frowned, noticing Sapphire's sadness. "She had excellent taste." She smiled, setting a hand on Sapphire's shoulder. "Hey, maybe we should actually find the others. I'm sure Ferondir and Guzore are wondering where we are, right?" She asked.

Sapphire nodded, trying to not think about her mom and dad too much. She tightened the grip on her necklace for a few moments, then said, "Y-yeah. I bet Amethyst is worried about me... let's find them..." She was deep in thought, thinking about the incident that happened only a few years ago, when she was 11.

Day 6 (Morning)/Guzore/20/Where: Castle Town/With:Cassie

"Hmm...I don't know how long I've known him for...I feel like I've known him for years...but that can't be right...
Cassie seemed very lost and confused, which didn't seem too surprising considering she had gone from whatever she was doing with her life before now to suddenly going on an adventure with 12 random people.
"What? No! That doesn't make any sense...Ugh...my emotions are getting the best of me... I'm really sorry."
Hey, no worries! I bet you'll figure it out soon! And big 'ol Guzore's here to talk whenever you need anything.
Guzore grinned and gave Cassie a thumbs up. There was a brief moment of silence as Cassie appeared to go back into deep thought again.
"So...umm...what do you think of Zeph? Do you think he's a good guy?"
Guzore thought about that question for a moment. He hadn't really talked to Zeph directly that often; and his only memorable interactions with him were spilling a bowl of hot soup on his head that made him do the weird magicy thing on the boat, and fighting the Poes with him in the Mansion.
Well, I don't think he's a bad guy. I think he's still young and trying to figure himself out. Sure, he can get a bit carried away with magic sometimes, but we've all had our fair share of throwing trees and falling out of barrels. Hohohoho!!

You've been hiding things, Zeph. You never had secrets from me. Now you do, and this weird sword stuff, the necromancy. You're scaring me, Zeph. I don't want you to change. I want you to be that little white-haired kid that I ran around Hyrule field with. I want you to be that smiling boy who'd climb anything just to see if he could. I don't want to see you become something I have to hate, because I could never hate you.
Well, here's some news for you. Zeph said, annoyed, taking one step closer to Ferondir.
We all have to grow up at some point.
I'm not going back to that little childish kid that mur-c-couldn't control his magic.
And so what if I tried necromancy? You need to get it into your head that just because things have been used for evil things before, that doesn't mean its evil.
I'm doing what I know is possible, I'm turning darkness to useful.
But if its any consolation, I gave up on that. It became...
evil
Boring.
Just because I'm experimenting with things, doesn't mean you have to hate me.
I'm still that same kid that I was, the only difference is that I outgrew that tree house long ago.
Okay, maybe that last part was a bit of a lie- he was still attached to that treehouse. But the metaphor still stands.
And you know what, we all have our secrets. I'm sorry I've kept things from you, but after this- It's probably for the best. I wouldn't want you to hate me, like you seem to want to.
I want my bestfriend back, but why can't you just-
Accept me?
Zeph stopped, putting his head in his hand, allowing Ferondir to say something.

Della walked down the street, looking around. "Do you think we'd attract too much attention if we call out their names? I mean, we didn't give our names to the guards chasing us, right?" She asked, looking back at Sapphire. "And if people think it's weird, we could tell them we're looking for our lost pet or friend or something." She shrugged, then snickered at the thought of turning Zeph into a cat.

"You know I'll understand," Ferondir said. "Every time you brought something to me, I stood my ground and offered my advice. Like I said, I don't want to hate you. All I want is the truth, what ever that is. I promise, I'll still be here. I'm a child of Nayru, Goddess of wisdom. It's my duty to understand. It's my duty to be wise."
Oh.
Right.
Ferondir changed gears.
"No. Never mind. I don't care about any secrets, whatever you're hiding from me must be for good reason. You must think that I wouldn't be willing or... or able to help. Maybe you don't need my help."
Wisdom isn't about knowing everything. It's about using what you do know to do the right thing. Zeph had always been different. He'd always been questioned. He'd always been a little insecure. The thing he wants right now... the thing he needs is...
"Unconditional acceptance." Ferondir whispered. "It'll be tough, but I'll do my best."
"It doesn't matter to me if you do become something I have to hate. I wont hate you even then. You're my comrade, and you always will be." It was a promise. A promise that must be kept at all costs. Even if I have to stop you someday, I will still love you.

Zeph stood frozen in place, staring at the ground.
He didn't know how to react.
I wont become something you hate. I promise. Zeph said, still standing inches from Ferondir refusing to look up at him.
...Liar...
Zeph wanted to hug Ferondir- Wanted to look happy- Wanted to do something.
But he couldn't bring himself to it yet.
