Zayden shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know..I haven't gotten to check on him yet. When I got here, I wanted to see if Shaun was alright first. I don't think Ethan was ready to be seen yet, anyways." he said with a shrug. "Um, one of us could go check on him and the other stay with Shaun, if you want." he offered.

Madison raised her eyebrows, surprised he recognized her right off like that without saying anything ridiculous. She was glad, though. She shrugged her shoulders. "I didn't really know any of this was going on. I don't even know what happened. I..just..Zayden somehow got Ethan's phone and told me you were all at the hospital. I think he was about to explain, but I got worried and hung up on him. I was in a rush," she said with a chuckle, running her hands through his hair absentmindedly as she spoke.

(I hope it's ok to just say Zayden called both Grace and Madison offscreen or somethin'. I can't think of another explanation for them to know to be there, soo..xD)

Grace looked back at her son, giving him a warm smile. "Someone looks tired." She said, crouching over near the bed. "Are you alright, Sweetie?"

"Yeah...I'm tired, though. I think it's this...thing!" he tugged on the IV again.

"Well, it's only there to help you get better, sweetheart." Grace explained, gently rubbing her son's arm. "You get some rest, honey, that'll help you feel better, too." Shaun's mom slowly tip toed over to Zayden. "You stay with him, he seems to like you. Plus, having a bonding moment with a cop would do wonders for him. I'll go see Ethan." she whispered as she looked over at Shaun and blew him a kiss goodbye.

Norman gave Madison a drunken smile as she played with his hair. "Yeah...Ethan and Shaun got in an accident, and I apparently jumping in Ethan's burning car to save him," Jayden said, shifting in his bed, "I don't really remember any of what happened, though, just what people have been saying." He glanced back at the dripping liquid. "Must be the medicine." He laughed a little, unsure if it was the medication. "Man..." he stretched out, "How out of it am I? I wasn't even making any sense when I got here. I remember saying something about ducks, but that's about it." he chuckled some more and looked over at Madison again.

Zayden looked up at her and nodded, staying put in the seat.

Madison listened with concerned eyes. She hoped everyone else was safe. Maybe she would go and see Ethan and Shaun afterwards, though she wasn't even sure either one would want to see her. But it would be reassuring to know that everyone involved was okay. She then shrugged her shoulders. "Not as bad as I thought you'd be," she said with a small smile. "I'm just glad you're alright. Norman. You worried me to death." she admitted.

Ethan writhed around slightly as he opened his eyes and his surroundings blurred in around him. He lay completely still for a few moments, the room completely silent except for the heart monitor. He then reached forward and touched some of the equipment, continuing to feel around, verifying if everything was real. After the car wreck(he wasn't even sure if that was a hallucination or not now,) he had been in and out of consciousness and had nightmare after nightmare. Or hallucinations. Or maybe some of it was really real. He didn't even know.

Shaun, feeling his eyes come to a close, gently turned his head over to Zayden. "Mr. Hendrix. Thanks," he said softly before rolling around in the bed. "Hey, what happened to that other girl we were with. That red headed one? You know..." The boy could feel his words slurring together as he shut his eyes again, feeling sleep wanting to take over him.

Norman looked over at Maddy-Moo and smiled. He repositioned in the bed, stretching and looking around some more. "I really need a shower," he replied, "to wash this day away." He shifted his eyes over to Madison again. "I have a stressful life as it is, y'know." He chuckled a bit. "I'm just....I was so--" He grabbed Maddy's hand. "I just...care for you so much. And I'm glad-I'm glad that I finally have someone to share my life with and..." He whined as he kissed her hand. After a while, he let it go and grabbed a hold of the poll with the dripping IV bag. "What is this stuff? It's like...it's like driving my crazy!"

Grace made her way down the hallway, shoes squeaking from the wetness of the rain on the neatly polished floor. She stopped and quickly turned around to the information desk, quickly realizing she had no idea where she was going. "Hi, excuse me," she greeted with a smile, "I'm looking for Ethan Mars' room."

The nurse turned to a computer, and after some typing, she turned back to Grace to tell her Ethan's room.

Grace thanked her and continued on her way down the hall, past the elevator, and to the third door on the right. After taking a deep breath, Shaun's mother warily opened the door, preparing herself for the worse.

Madison simply smiled as he rambled on, drunken on pain medication. She giggled when he kissed her hand, saying nothing. She really didn't have anything to add; heck, he seemed to be having a pretty good time rambling on to himself anyways. She then blinked, pulling his arm away from the IV bag. "It's your IV. It's helping you," she explained, setting his hand back down and patting it.

Ethan turned to face her with slightly wide eyes, though he said nothing, not even acknowledging her besides just staring blankly at her. Honestly, he had no idea if she was really there or if he was imagining her. He began to reach out for her before retracting his hand. What if it was really her? He blinked slowly. "Grace?" he mumbled, his voice extremely hoarse. His throat hurt. He held his hands in front of his face; they were bandaged all the way up to his knuckles.

Zayden smiled at him. "No need to thank me, Shaun." he said quietly, crossing his legs. He noticed Shaun was getting kind of sleepy. "Red headed girl?" he asked, tilting his head. Oh wait..yeah..Graybay. He simply shrugged. "Um, I don't know! Maybe we'll meet back up with her soon." he said.

Graybay frowned as she shoved her few belongings she had with her at the hospital into a small backpack. Why had no one came to see her for a few days? And why did she care if they did? She wasn't supposed to give a crap about these people or what they thought about her.
Sooo..why did she, then? She figured at least Norman would show up one more time. He appeared to care at least slightly. But he had a girlfriend. Not that she was supposed to care about that, either.
She sighed and swung the backpack over her shoulder.

Norman frowned when Madison moved his hand back, but smiled when she patted it. "Thanks. I guess I am a bit...well, for the lack of a better word, messed up." He chuckled and remembered faintly the doctor telling him that he would be a little out of it, not seeing straight, tired, making no sense at all. Jayden smiled at Madison. "Sorry I scared you." He replied sheepishly. "I hope everyone else is alright." He glanced up at the dripping bag again and pursed his lips. "How is that bag going to help me? As a matter of fact, I don't even know what's wrong with myself." He laughed a drunken laugh.

"Yeah," Grace gently shut the door behind her and noticed how dim the lights were. Probably for the best, she thought, Ethan's probably in a very gentle state right now. "Yes, Ethan, it's me," Grace explained quietly, not knowing if Ethan was sensitive to noise yet. She smiled and walked closer to her ex husband. "Are you alright?" She asked, grimacing at Ethan's bandages. "Ethan, can you hear me?"

Shaun smiled. "Yeah...I do need to thank you and Norman both. You guys are the best." He said with a yawn and a stretch. "And you're the only cops I like," He chuckled a weak, painful giggle, and looked up. "Well, I hopeshe will be alright like everyone else."

Madison laughed a little, shaking her head. "No, no, don't be sorry. It's not your fault. I..It was really great that you saved them, Norman. Not all cops would do that, especially FBI agents." she said. "But you're really a special person." she said, leaning down and kissing his forehead. She then blinked at the question, simply shrugging. She had no idea what was in the bag, but she knew it was at least doing something. "To be honest, I don't know. But I at least know you must need it." she said with a smile.

Ethan nodded, looking around the room. "I can hear you." he said hoarsely, putting his hands back down. His head hurt. Everything was kind of sore, really. He stared up towards the ceiling, wincing at the lights. Was he alright? He didn't know. "I.." he began, blinking. "I don't really know." he admitted. He must've not been, considering he was in the hospital. He didn't feel alright. "Where's Shaun? Is he okay?" he asked quickly.

Zayden smiled. He could understand that. Heck, he wouldn't like cops either if something like that had happened to him. He then nodded. "Yeah, she should be. I'll check on her later, maybe when your mom comes back." he said.
