alexei shook his head a bit, but nonetheless began to wash his hands in preparation. looking through the fridge, he pulled out some chicken as well as a few other ingredients, deciding to make chicken piccata. taking two pieces of chicken out, one for each of them, he then grabbed some seasonings and sprinkled it onto them. turning around, he turned on the stove top, pouring some olive oil into it. he glanced over as krasa came barreling in, playing with a few of her toys. shaking his head in amusement, alexei returned to cooking the meal. "i hope you like chicken." he then stated, glancing over to lillian.

Lillian laughed out loud. “I absolutely love chicken.” She said with a nod. Lillian was trying to turn I’ve a new leaf as a vegetarian, yet she could never give up meat. She laughed at her inner turmoil and watched Krasa run in. “Silly girl.” She said with a laugh before getting up and walking over to the puppy. She crouched down beside her and started playing tug of war with one of her toys.

alexei nodded, fighting back a smile as he saw her eagerly playing with krasa. about twenty minutes later, the chicken was done. he poured the lemony sauce over the meat carefully before placing the pan aside and moving the plates to the table, grabbing some silverware and placing those down as well. "it's ready." he announced to lillian, bringing two glasses of water to the table as well before taking his seat and glancing over to the woman.

Lillian let Krasa take the toy. She got up to wash her hands, then walking to the table. She sat across from Alexei and smiled. “It looks delicious.” She said with a grin. She eagerly dug into her food. Once she tasted it, her eyes widened. “This is sooo good.” She said to a Alexei, quickly finishing her meal. She took her plate to the sink and began washing it. She felt like a bit of a slob for eating so fast, but she was hungry! She passed a hand through her hair once she was done. She sat back down at the table across from Alexeai.

alexei waited for lillian to join him before beginning to eat, a slight smirk pulling on his lips at her compliment. pride swelled in his chest at the fact she liked his cooking. isabelle "never had the time" to try his food. he finished up soon after lillian, taking his plate to the sink and washing it off before returning to the table. "what's your favorite color?" the man randomly inquired, leaning back into his seat. alexei wasn't the greatest at getting to know people, he just asked the typical questions and that was pretty much it. he wasn't great with starting conversations, either.

Lillian smiled. “Orange.” She replied sinply. She then raised her brow. “I’m betting your sis black or gray or something equally depressing.” She said with a wink and a smirk, of course just teasing him. She passed her fingers through her hair and looked at the male. He really was handsome. His hair and eyes seemed to shine in the light, and she could see the slight outline of muscles, even under his loose shirt.

alexei paused at lillian's response, he could see her looking very good in orange. though, she seemed to look good in everything. as she mentioned his, alexei lifted his shoulders into a shrug. "i like gray, or green. pine or forest colored green. not the ugly, lightish greens." he murmured. finishing up his water, he placed the glass down and observed lillian. "when did you have your first kiss?" alexei then questioned, resting his forearms on the table.

Lillian slowly thought of him wearing a darker green. It sounded like a good color on him. As he asked if her first kiss, she grinned. “It was...seventh grade i think. My best friend Jason and I were walking outside during lunch and he kissed me.” She laughed and shook her head. “It’s funny to think about it, since now he’s engaged to his boyfriend, Matt, who he met almost 20 minutes later.” She said with a shake of her head. “What about yours?” She asked with a smirk, elbows on the table and hands folded.

alexei listened to the small tale of lillian's first kiss, nodding with slight surprise as she mentioned him being engaged to a boy he met soon after they kissed. as lillian questioned him, alexei paused before shrugging. "eleventh grade. it was a dare at a party, so i don't really know her name or anything like that." the man murmured, running his fingers through his hair. "do you prefer night or day? and why?" he continued to question the woman, tilting his head in slight curiosity.

Lillian paused at his question. “Night, probably. It makes me feel like I’m living on the edge. Like when I go to parties with my friends. It makes you feel alive, you know?” She said with a shrug. “At night everyone can see the stars, but during the day, all you see is a boring blue sky.” She said with a small smile. “My mother taught me all of the constellations. I’ve forgotten most of them now...but it was fun learning.” She mused happily, thinking of her mother.
