Medve waved at him as they were underwater, and watched as he surfaced, and swam around for a moment before surfacing, feeling the raindrops and chuckled, regaining her breath for a moment before going back underwater, spinning in circles, her hair going around her, and when she stopoed, settled at her sides, but still waved in the water.

Adonis playfully tugged at a lock of her hair, chuckling softly as he told her, "You look like some sort of mermaid." He swam around lazily on his back, occasionally kicking his legs to send him floating slowly across the pool, but he was really just in the mood for relaxing in the cool cushion of the water. He considered going back under, then sighed and closed his eyes for a moment, letting the rain pelt him without fighting it.

Medve surfaced as she heard his voice, "Mermaid indeed," she said, then taking a deep breath, and going back under, looking at the surface of the water as rain hit it, but not bothering the still water that she was in. She then came back up, feeling the rain right away, and began to swim around, going around the pool, making a little whirlpool. "Wanna help?" She asked Adonis, as she stopped swimming, letting the whirlpool take her in circles, then beginning to swim in the circle again, helping it going around the pool.

Adonis grinned as he nodded wordlessly and began following her in making the reckless whirlpool, laughing as it whirled them around and around, almost dragging him under, but he was too strong of a swimmer for that. "You are," He insisted as they swam around and around, almost making him dizzy, "You're my beautiful little mermaid. More at home in the water than on land." He teased, catching up to her just so he could lean over and kiss her, eyes shimmering as he got ahead of her and swam even faster, making the whirlpool spin even more swiftly around them.

Medve smirked, "And you can be a merman," she said, "Or Mermaid Man," she chuckled, as she watched him swim by and felt the water pick up, and stopped swimming, letting the water carry her around and around. "Weee!" She called with a laugh, feeling the water splash up on her face, and then stood up, running around in circles, so it'd become faster. Although she was running as fast as she could, it looked like she was just walking at a fast pace.

Adonis laughed as he pretended to chase her through the water, moving in slow-motion due to the water pushing him back. He swished his tail from side to side like some odd sort of fin. "A merman," He agreed, chuckling softly as he nodded his head. It was so peaceful to be able to just play with her in the pool like this, their home finished, having a few moments of peace before the children would arrive. Not to mention that in the warmth of the summer months -- even now, in the rain, it was so humid and muggy -- the pool was an amazing reprieve from the heat that made them pant and sweat sorrowfully.

Medve then let the whirlpool carry her, it sweeping her around the pool quickly. She began to laugh, the rain pouring down, but she didn't care. "Man, this is fun," she said, as she watched Adonis as she laid on her back, the whirlpool still carrying both of them, going quickly as it did so. She then tried to swim toward Adonis, and kissed his nose, and stopped swimming as the whirlpool carried her off.

Adonis grinned as he pulled her playfully into his arms, letting go, the whirlpool sweeping the both of them around in graceful, serene circles. It was like some sort of carnival ride, but one for kids, slowly spinning you around and around so slowly you barely even got dizzy, just a little sleepy. "I love you so much right now," He whispered to her, setting one paw on her growing stomach and smiling in a sweetly serene sort of way, blue eyes calm.

Medve purred, hugginf him, "I love you with all my heart," she said, putting her hair back since the rain had made it go all in her face. She looked up at him with a smile, kissing him as she put one of her arms arouns his shoulders, so they could be together as they spun around in the whirlpool, lightning crossing the sky in the distance, and thunder clapping.

Adonis smiled then, glad that he finally had someone who knew exactly how he felt and felt the same way for him. It was a peaceful, relieved feeling to be able to look into Medve's gorgeous brown eyes and see his thoughts mirrored there. He kissed her in reply, not wanting to spoil the sweet moment with mere words, they couldn't carry enough of his thoughts to do. He wrapped his arms around her, keeping her close in the water.
