Norman gave a quick nod, gathering the origami. He stuck them in his pocket, and as he did, he counted six. One for each day Ethan was in his coma. Jayden frowned and looked over at Madison, giving her a small smile. "You feelin' better?" He asked, clearing his throat and the room of the tension that was building up. "We were all worried about ya."

Ethan nodded in understanding. He picked up the origami and gave them to Norman hastily. "Um, here. You take them. I really don't want them," he inhaled sharply, "and maybe it'll help you guys. I don't know. I just don't wanna look at them." he said.

"Yeah." He said, lowering his voice down to a whisper. "I got an origami, and Blake did, too." He replied with a snarl. He looked over at Shaun, who was jabbering away with his mom about something. He returned his look to Ethan and lightly smiled. "Now's probably not the best place."

I looked down at the floor, I knew now was the time....maybe not the best time, but it was time. I turned towards Ethan and opened my mouth to speak. "Ethan...I..I have something to tell you" I spoke, almost in a whisper. My nerves were getting the best of me, and i knew it. Oh, god..what am I going to do? My mind was racing. I knew I had to tell him, but I didn't want to cause some sort of scene. I hope he understands.

Norman furrowed his eyebrows. Why here? Why now? He quickly walked up to her and gave her a cautious look. "Tread lightly," was what he wanted to say. Instead, he smiled lightly and looked over at Shaun. What about Shaun? He didn't need to hear this. But Madison also needed Norman there for her. Maybe Grace will take him out. Jayden walked over to Maddy and held her hand in his tightly.

Ethan looked up, as if snapped out of a daze. "Um, yeah?" he said, his voice careful. There was a sick feeling in his stomach that he didn't want to hear what she had to say next, and he found himself wringing his hands nervously in his lap. Luckily, he didn't even seem to notice Norman. He had been distant like that for a long time.

Madison held Normans hand, it brought her some comfort, but the feeling was still there. "I...well, this is really hard to tell you..." I couldn't do it..god. Maybe I shouldn't tell him, no..I have to! "I couldn't take being by myself! I was...so alone, and Norman, he was there for me...so I....I no longer want to be with you. I didn't want intend for it to end up like this, but it did. And things just happen"
There, I said it. And now I couldn't even look at him.

Norman stood there, looking between them, the silence cutting like knives. He tried to smile, but it wouldn't appear. "Ethan..." He whispered. "Listen, I had no idea you guys dated before this, I didn't even know you guys knew each other!" He shook his head, and then the tension in the room grew higher.

[GBHORROR]

Ethan, as expected, felt like someone had punched him in the chest. He had a lot of things he wanted to say. He could have done anything; he could have screamed at her, he could have had a meltdown right there.
But, although you could see his heart break in his eyes, he simply nodded. "Okay," he said under his breath, refusing to look up at them again. He made it pretty clear that they should probably just go. He honestly had nothing more to say; what could he say? Yes, he was angry, but there would be no sense in causing a scene. At least not in front of Shaun.

Norman slowly nodded, still frozen in place by the tension. Just out of a coma, too. Norman tried to smile again, but the more he tried to, the madder he was. He had no idea why he was mad, he just was. He tightened his grip on Maddy-Moo's hand and turned around. "Ready to go?" They would talk more out in the hall way.

Shaun kind of stood there for a moment before walking up to his dad, taking his hand gently. He smiled as best he could, his eyes soothing.

I felt like I was broken, even Normans hand gave me no comfort now. I had upset Ethan, that was clear...had I made a mistake? Surely not. I care about Norman, and I am not about to give up now. His smile was small, but there. "Yes, I am ready to go" I spoke slowly, not sure if I could move my legs.
