Jaystar watched as Sorrelstar fell, a crazed look in her eyes and tears welling up in her eyes as she felt Aspenleaf's soul. In the back of her mind she heard Nettlefoot and Thistlethorn's words back when Barkknot had first come back to camp with her Medicine cat on her back. "This isn't enough!" They had said. "Sorrelstar is at fault!" And she believed them. This isn't enough. Sorrelstar needed to apologize to Aspenleaf personally. Luckily Jaystar was more than willing to send her there. She pounced on the still body, sinking her fangs in her neck, ignoring the metallic taste building in her maw.
The kick to his legs did indeed catch Blackstreak off balance. He could have dodged it. He knew he could have. But his eyes had trailed over to Russetfall who's yowls reached his ears as clear as daylight. He staggered, trying to keep his eye on the tom before him while still watching his mate. Though that was a bad idea..
Russetfall was losing this battle and he knew it. He had grown weak after moons of peace and love with Blackstreak. But he couldn't die here, he didn't want to look down on Blackstreak from the stars. So he fought through his pain, as unbearable it was and launched himself at Woolyfur once again. This time faking left only to really go right and slash at the tom's eyes
Amberstorm reacted quickly, jumping to put distance between them before Dappleleaf's jaws could clamp themselves on her paw. She circled the other warrior, hissing softly as she looked for the best place to attack, giving her head a little shake to clear off the blood trying to blind her.
Hootdust had been surprised by the sudden attack, having beeN occupied fighting another. She felt the weight collided into her and attempted to shake it off but it was no good. Se yowled in pain but stayed focused, claws swiping at the other warrior who tried attacking while still trying to shake the one on her back off.
Thistlethorn's grinned and Nettlefoot giggled at Swanfoot request and nodded more than eagerly at it. "Darling that isn't a favor, it's a gift. And I love it." Nettlefoot purred, getting to her paws as she heard the leader's command the attack. Thistlethorn simply winked as she too got up, unsheathing her claws. "In other words. Leave it to us Swanfoot. Though, if he happens to lose.. more than one... sorry." She chuckled before she her sister began the battle, falling into their familiar battle routine of flank to flank, becoming a well composed flurry of claws and fangs.
