[Queen of Spades]

Alain sat next to his mother, albeit awkwardly, and looked around the table. He didn't speak, and neither did Lucine. The two just sat there, not knowing what to say. For Alain, the whole mom being blind thing shocked him so he didn't know what to say to her anymore without bringing up that question. Lucine had the same problem, she knew how the subject made Alain uncomfortable, so she didn't want to talk about it, however that left them with very few conversation pieces.

Hanako sighed lightly, and stood. "Guess I will." She said, folding her hands and dipping her head a bit. "Dear God, we thank you for the food that is to be served, may you bless and watch over us in the days to come and we thank you for your guidance in the days past. In the name of our Father, amen." She sat down again, then glanced around the table.

Yvette, not needing food, instead stood in the corner of the room, keeping watch. One could never be sure that nothing would harm someone in the room, so she decided to just stand there. She still had no sword, but she figured she could earn it back by not malfunctioning for a while. She stood rather still, now wearing her armor once again instead of the clothes she wore into town.

Juliet sat in more of a frightened silence than anything. She was still scared from her encounter with the thing that took over Kamijo. She subtly glanced around the table, keeping her head down. She figured she probably would leave right after dinner was over, to avoid any questions or conversations.

Charisse was actually rather happy looking, despite almost everyone else looking like their puppy had just died. She was a master at keeping her spirits up, or at least looking like she was. She just was very cheerful despite recent events, and even she was wondering why.

((Eh, good enough. At least I finally got a reply.))

Tetsu then said, 'well, now we can all start eating in peace with our religions, I'd like to announce a few things... As you all have noticed, the past few days have been awful. People die, people keep secrets, people get injured both physically and mentally. I'm afraid that that is the way humans are and we cannot do anything about it but trying to prevent it. So, in order for that to happen, some rules must be set up. I want everyone of you to report every problem you encounter to your clanhead. No secrets will stay. If you go to work, if you go to see a college, even if you go to do some shopping, you will report to your clanhead.' He sat down, and just before everyone would start protesting, he added, 'we also have a new member.' Tehn tehre was silence. Kyo, who had grabbed Cameryn's hand tightly beneath the table, now stood up nad said, 'yes, that is true...' His voice was a bit weak, 'Cameryn has adopted a child into the Von Diru clan. I and Cameryn will take all responsibilities of what he does, but we may need help as we are both fairly... Young.' He turned to Daniel and whispered, 'please introduce yourself.'

Cameryn smiled encouragingly at both Kyo and Daniel. She gently rubbed the back of Kyo's hand with her thumb. She was nervous but she could tell he was also nervous. She also sensed that something else was troubling him. She made a mental note to ask him if everything was alright. she glaned over at Daniel and gave him a little nudge.

Daniel blushed faintly as he stood. "Um, I'm Daniel and I'm really excited to live here." He said in a small voice as he glanced around at everyone. He didn't realize before just how many people lived in the castle. He slowly sat down, unsure of what to do.

Tetsu nodded nad said, 'okay then. Everyone, enjoy your meals.' He then sat down again and started eating, jsut like everyone. Yu~Ki had made the dinner tonight, as usual, but this time with a little help of Daisuke, with whom he had also shoot the ducks they were eating now. The atmosphere started to get a little better and most people notcied that so talking slowly started.
Kamijo looked around, a bit uncertain of what to do. He was eating slowly because he was not hungry, especially not after what happened with Juliet today. He had freaked out after a while and wanted to jump out of the window, as far as he could recall. He also recalled that she stopped him and went away. Then Kouji came... And everything was over.
Kouji was sitting next to Yu~Ki and had started talking. He said, 'Yu~Ki, I don't think Tetsu has the right to monitor my every move like he wants to.' 'I understand what you're saying, Kouji, but things have been going out of hand lately, don't you think so?'
Taiji and Masashi had started talking to each other. It went from the dress that Hanako was wearing, to the nice cleavage that some ladies showed and then it only went worse. Daisuke had been listening to them and occasionally laughed along with them, but his mind was very troubled and he couldn't really focus on the conversation.
Tetsu turned to Lucine and said, 'I wonder if everyone will, as I just told them, report problems to me. I am worried that there might be some more secrets which will cause chaos...' He looked around. 'There's Masahi and Taiji. If those two have secrets, it will be bad ones, trust me on that.'
Kyo was just eating and not really looking at anything besides his plate. He was thinking, obviously.
