Adonis laughed, bracing himself with both paws against the dashboard as he nodded his head, simply letting his neck go limp as the car bounced along the old road. "Yeah, my house!" He agreed, his voice nearly a shout to be heard over the car, he was surprised that Skippy didn't have half a dozen cops on his tail with lights flashing and sirens blaring.

Skippy seen the house, and did a turn that almost flipped the car, making a dangerous turn as he parked in the driveway. Medve's eyes were wide as she looked around. "Woooo!" Skippy shouted, laughing. "I smell burning rubber," Medve said, blinking. "That's just the tires," Skippy replied with a smirk and shrug.

Adonis could see several of his siblings peering out of the windows with concern at the loud noises Skippy's car had made, and he laughed, sliding out of the car. "Be right back," He promised, then darted into the house, running up to his room. He changed as swiftly as he could, into a clean pair of jeans with considerably less holes in them, a nice pair of DC tennis shoes, a white t-shirt, and a navy zip-up sweatshirt to go over it. Tucking his house key and wallet into his pants pocket, he ran back down the stairs, waved good-bye to his siblings, and jumped back into the car. It had probably only taken him three or four minutes.

Skippy waved to Adonis' siblings as he then raced out of there, down the street. Medve was laughing till she seen a white car, and didn't know if it was a cop or not. "Hit the brakes, Skippy!" She yelled. Skippy then hit the brakes quickly, causing them to spin around a couple times. As they stopped, Skippy looked in the back at Medve. "What?" He whispered. She pointed to a white car that was pulling out, and it was the cops. "That's why," she said. Skippy's eyes widened, as he then began driving, turning down roads, and soon lost the cops.

Adonis held his breath until he could tell that they had safely lost the cops in the maze of roads Skippy had been twisting and turning down. "Geez, that was close." He said, finally taking another deep breath and looking out the windshield with bright, large eyes. "I swear, those cops are everywhere these days." He added, shaking his head, a bit annoyed that their fun had to end. They weren't harming anyone, there hardly was ever anyone on these back roads anyway, and even when he spun, Skippy had been -- mostly -- in his own lane.

Skippy sighed, as he then lookef around where they were. "It's going to take longer to get to the mall now, thanks to the cops," Skipoy said, sighing. Medve shrugged, "Well, at least were getting there," she said, sighing also.

Adonis leaned against the window, pressing his feet up against the dashboard with a soft sigh. "I know cops keep us safe, man, but sometimes they just know how to ruin fun," He told them, face a bit more solemn and somber than it had been, all the excitement of buying things for his babies-to-be fallen out.

Skippy nodded, "And they want you to pay like one hundred fifty dollars for speeding. One hundred for no seatbelts," he rolled his eyes, and took a left, "This is a short cut through here," he sais, then stopoed when he seen a baby chick begin to cross the road. Skippy gasped, "Should I jump out ans get it?" He asked. Medve shook her head, "No, it belongs to someone," she said. Skippy blinked, "Probably doesn't. I haven't seen a house in miles. Maybe it's a wild chicken," he said.

"Well, you can always take it and return it if someone declares it missing," Adonis said a bit thoughtfully with a shrug of his shoulders, gazing at the tiny chicken -- which was, of course, ironically trying to cross the road in front of them. What else would it be doing? "But what would we do with it while we go to the mall?" He paused, and you could practically see a light bulb flash above his head. "Well... I guess we could always sneak it around in some sort of bag, or backpack..." He said sneakily, narrowing his eyes and grinning.

Skippy grinned, "Sounds like a plan," he said, then getting out of the car, sneaking up on the baby chicken, and grabbing it swiftly. It looked surprised, and flapped it's tiny wings, as Skippy then got back into the car. The chicken could fit in Skippy's palm, and the little chick had brown fur that would soon turn into brown feathers. Skippy smiled down at it,"Adonis, can you hold it for me?" He asked.
