Warriors 1x1 - Kia_Bee and Weredog

[Weredog]

Wolfbite's expression remained unchanged, as was typical of the stoic tom, but he was glad to hear Stonestar seemed at least slightly happier. He nodded in agreement with his leader's statement. Wolfbite did not have the connection with StarClan that a medicine cat or a leader did but he still held a great deal of respect for his ancestors. "They might send a sign." He suggested. It could be something they don't even realize is a sign.

"True." Stonestar said with a short nod before chuckling as a few kits gently played with an elder, pretending they were an enemy.

[Weredog]

Wolfbite watched the kits for a while. "Want to walk?" He asked after some time of silence, looking at Stonestar again. Taking the time to do a quick patrol of the territory always helped him feel a bit safer during uncertain times but he didn't know if Stonestar would prefer to stay here at camp.

"It would help take my mind off things." Stonestar replied, tail twitching a little. He started to pad out of the camp.

[Weredog]

Wolfbite followed just behind Stonestar until they got out of camp which is when he sped up a bit to match his pace and walk beside him. They were headed towards a border that would bring them to the edge of a dirt road. Monsters were fairly rare here since the only twolegs who really used it were those who lived at the nearby barn.

Stonestar sighed softly, looking less stressed than before as they continued walking. His ears never stopped swiveling, listening for anything suspicious or would alert him to danger.

[Weredog]

Wolfbite glanced over at Stonestar for a moment before returning his attention to where he was going. He was glad to see his leader seem to relax a bit. The peace didn't last long though as rustling in a nearby bush caught his attention. He could tell based on scent that it was another cat but not one from their clan.

Stonestar stopped in his tracks, fur raising a little as he caught the scent. "Show yourself. We mean you no harm." He called out.

[Weredog]

The only response Stonestar received was a hiss from within the bush. It was far quieter than a normal sounding hiss. Something rather nonthreatening. A small paw shot out towards the pair with the intent of swatting one of them but was clearly too far to hit. Another hiss followed and suddenly a kit darted out and started running, trying to get to across to the other side of the road.

"Wait!" Stonestar exclaimed, running after the kit. He didn't want them to get hurt by running into something on the farm or unintentionally frightening the farm animals.
